Definitions
- the invention relates to a mattress for Lounge furniture with a centrally arranged Air cushion by an elastic Shaped body is surrounded.
- Mattresses play in the living and sleeping areas of this type compared to mattresses for conventional bed systems a subordinate Role.
- air beds are suitable to achieve a high level of comfort especially because of the pressure of the air cushion different, i.e. to the needs of the Customized, can be adjusted. This creates significant production and sales advantages because not for each desired degree of hardness has its own mattress must be produced and kept in stock.
- UNITED STATES 4435 864 discloses an air bed, the Air cushions in the surrounding mattress body is fooled. The benefits of a variable Air pressure and interchangeability in the event of a defect, however, there is a mumbling one Stability especially in the peripheral areas of the Reclining furniture, generally its deformity and the one-sidedness of the air cushion.
- EP 0 453 363 B1 discloses a mattress body that is a Air cushions or around conventional bed springs curved trachea only in the central zone of the Provides mattress body while the head and Foot zones are built conventionally. With this arrangement of the Air chambers can be more heavily loaded Buttocks area needs and variable set higher pressure than in the head and Foot zones; this also makes the one described Problem of shifting the internal pressure disarmed or even in the case of air pipes eliminated.
- the disadvantage of this is that Construction that is both complicated and bulky and the individual zones are not connects compactly, but only strung together. The individual zones can do not act as a uniform spring system.
- US 5 509 154 discloses an automatic, by the user via remote control operable control system with which in two Air cushions arranged alongside each other different air pressures applied and constant can be held.
- the disadvantage here is that Irregularity of the system with an air pump that is not integrated in the bed frame.
- the Control is limited to the Regulation of a maximum of two air cushions neither with the bed frame nor with one upper and lower padding compactly connected are.
- EP 0 620 716 B1 describes one Mattress with one or more air chambers and with integrated, responsive to stress Air system for automatic refilling Air diffusion.
- the disadvantage is that the Pressure of each air chamber does not have a single one Remote control device can be controlled but a separate one for each air chamber, by hand adjustable pressure regulating valve required.
- padding and air cushions are not compactly connected. The stability of the The body of the mattress is therefore largely based on a solid, enveloping coating of mostly natural material like that used for air beds is known.
- the object of the invention is that overcome disadvantages described and a To create a mattress of the type mentioned so high lying comfort that it can be used simplest bases can be combined and thus the manufacture of an inexpensive Lounger furniture enables.
- the task accomplishes Mattress body with the features of the claim 1.

- Fig. 6a The block diagram of a variant of Control for the variable setting of the inner spring.
- Fig. 1 shows the acting forces (F) when loaded by use.
- F acting forces
- the force acting on the head and feet, but also in the cross section is the smallest, with the shoulder section roughly in between.
- the strength can also be great in the cross zone. It should also be taken into account that these zones do not form clear boundaries, but shift due to the movement of a user in the plane or overlap in the boundary zones.
- the mattress body according to the invention. 2 takes into account the problem of forces acting differently at different points to a previously unknown extent.
- the mattress body 2 consists of the centrally arranged air cushion 6 and the so-called elastic molded body 5.
- the air cushion 6 acts as an inner spring (f1, f4).
- This spring system creates a spring effect that loosens dynamically in the different zones of the mattress body and maintains the lying profile of a user who is also moving.
- the high spring power of the mattress body 2 according to the invention enables it to be used without a resilient sub-mattress, as is conventionally used in connection with reclining furniture for the living area in which a high level of lying comfort is important.
- 2 shows, for example, a simple, non-resilient base frame 3 can be used.
- Such reclining furniture 1 has significant cost advantages in manufacture compared to conventional bed systems with resilient bottom mattresses.
- the mattress body 2 is also suitable for use in motor beds, which are often equipped with hard but movable bases, particularly in the hospital area.
- the so-called elastic molded body 5, as FIG. 2 further shows, consists of two longitudinal beams 17 and two transverse beams 18 which form the frame, which in turn is closed off from above and below by the upper cover mat 19 and the lower cover mat 20.
- Both cover mats 19, 20 on the one hand each have a row of finger-thick air exchange channels 21 arranged one behind the other and extending transversely to the mattress body, and on the other hand, offset and underneath or above, a row of finger-thick ventilation channels 22 arranged one behind the other and running transversely to the mattress body Longitudinal beams 17, but not the transverse beams 18, in turn have an upper and lower row of ventilation ducts 22 ', their position below the ventilation ducts 22 of the upper cover mat 19 or above the ventilation ducts 22 of the lower cover mat 20 are arranged.
- the nonwovens have a sound-insulating effect.
- the air cushion 6 consists of an upper airtight film 25 and a lower airtight film 26, which are welded to one another in such a way that they form a web 7 around the side of the air cushion 6 at half the side height. This web is inserted and glued all around in the corresponding slots 4 of the longitudinal beams 17 and cross beams 18. According to the invention, the air cushion 6 and the elastic molded body 5 are connected to one another in a force-locking manner. The position of the web 7 at half the side height corresponds to commercially available air cushions 6 which are laterally cambered towards the outside.
- the spring system according to the invention thus absorbs the load pressures acting on the mattress body 2 not only by a vertical spring (f1, f2) but also by a horizontal spring (f4, f5).
- the air cushion 6 has in its interior longitudinal support walls 29 and transverse support walls 30, which give the air cushion 6 a rib-shaped surface.
- Fig. 3 shows an example with 2 longitudinal support walls 29 and a plurality of transverse support walls 30 distributed over the entire length of the mattress body. Another arrangement of the support walls, such as that there are more longitudinal support walls 29 and fewer transverse support walls 30, is readily with the technical teaching compatible with the present invention.
- the ventilation ducts 22 of the upper cover mat 19 and lower cover mat 20 are - as shown in FIGS. 2 and 2a - positioned along the long side of the elastic molded body 5 such that they are above or below those through the rib-shaped surface of the air cushion 6 formed depressions 12 come to rest.
- the ventilation channels 22 ′ of the longitudinal beams 17 are positioned such that they open into the depressions 12 formed by the rib-shaped surface of the air cushion 6.
- the elastic molded body 5 ′ can form a non-positive connection with the web 7 and a positive connection with the air cushion 6 as a whole.
- the breathable film 13 has the function of enabling the air cushion 6 to be positively enclosed by the elastic molded body 5 'and at the same time to prevent a non-positive connection being created with the exception of the web 7.
- the purpose of this arrangement is that the elastic molded body 5 ′ adapt optimally to the air cushion 6 with a variable air chamber volume and that a surface tension that hinders the spring power cannot arise.
- the outer spring can be Compacting or padding the elastic Shaped body 5 at the desired locations arrange differently.
- the molded body can be made from conventional PUR foam or latex his. For example, it is possible to Shoulders with compressed foam manufacture, while the rest of the cover mats 19.20 made with normal compressed foam becomes. For body weight users provided mattress bodies 2 it is also conceivable, the entire central zone of the cover mats 19.20 and the shoulders with compressed Foam.
- the outer spring (f2, f5) is determined by fixed measures
- the inner spring (f1, f2) can be variably adjusted by changing the internal pressure. This is described below with reference to the example shown in FIG. 5 for a double bed with two air cushions 6, each of which has two independent, non-communicating air chambers 27, 28. There are a total of four independent, non-communicating air chambers.
- the air cushions 6 are non-positively connected to an elastic molded body 5 which has longitudinal beams 17, cross beams 18, an upper cover mat 19 and a lower cover mat 20; instead, a non-positive and positive connection with a molded one-piece molded body 5 'is also possible.
- the air cushions 6 each consist of a chamber 27, which corresponds to the head and foot zone of a mattress body 2, and from a chamber 28, which corresponds to the central zone of a mattress body 2.
- Chamber 28 has an airtight partition 28 'to define it from chamber 27.
- a connecting channel 27 ' connects the two zones of the chamber 27.
- a commercially available, low-noise 12 or a 24-volt compressor with a relatively low delivery capacity fulfills its purpose for this purpose, since the mattress bodies, without wishing to be limited to this embodiment, are already brought to the market in an inflated state and, for example, in the event of defects, they are repaired or replaced by the factory.
- the inflator 32 is connected to the air chambers 27, 28 of both air cushions 6 via the valve control block 33 and separate air lines 34 leading to and from each of the four air chambers.
- the valve control block 33 for the double bed shown in FIG. 5 consists of four two-way valves 37 to which the air lines 34 are connected.
- the same pump / control block 31 can also be used for the "single bed"embodiment; two valves 37 are not used and remain closed.
- the valve control block 33 is connected via an air line 34 to the drain valve 36 and to the inflator 32. Overpressure can be reduced via the drain valve 36.
- the pressure measuring device 35 is also connected via the air line 34 ′ and, on the corresponding command entered on the remote control unit 44, measures the pressure of each individual air chamber 27, 28.
- the transformer 38 also supplies the electronic circuit 41 with power, from which the control lines 40 lead to the inflator with motor drive 32, to the valve control block 33, to the pressure measuring device 35 and to the drain valve 36.
- the power / control cables 45, 45 'lead from the transformer 38 to the outside These cables 45, 45 'are each provided with a round plug 42, 42', to which a control device 43 can optionally be connected.
- the control device 43 is connected to a socket on the one hand and is operatively connected to a remote control unit 44, preferably via infrared.
- the power / control cables 45, 45 'are therefore guided to the outside on both sides of the mattress body 2, so that the control device 43 can always be connected on the same side of the bed, regardless of whether the mattress body 2 is on one side or the other is used. In other words, if the mattress body 2 is turned over, simply repositioning the control device 43 is sufficient.
- the air pressure is regulated continuously or by operating several on the Remote control unit 44 attached Preselection buttons that have a predefined value correspond. In a preferred embodiment these are overpressure values in the Range from 1 - 60 mbar. On the Remote control unit 44 are up to ten Preselection buttons responding to load pressure attached up to ten different, correspond to predefined pressure values. By simple further precautions, such as through Setting the course in the form of an additional Switch for controlling the two air cushions 6 and / or an additional switch for that anyone can control the air chambers 27 or 28 Preselection button can be assigned to all air chambers.
- the remote control unit 44 is also included an LCD scale, which shows the pressure of the Displays pressure levels 27.28. By pressing one Key, for example "L” (for left Air cushion or “R” (for right air cushion) can be called, the corresponding values of the Air chambers 27.28 for the left resp. right Air cushion 6 displayed.
- control device 43 is provided with a mains disconnection 46, such as are previously known in connection with motor beds.
- a power supply unit 52 is connected to a socket, and the power supply to the combined pump / control block (31) is electrically isolated with low voltage.
- the arrangement of the individual elements is slightly different here than in the embodiment according to FIG. 6.
- the drain valve 36 is here integrated directly in the valve control block 33, and the pressure measuring device 35 is integrated in the control part 41. From here, the control lines 40 lead to the inflator with motor drive 32, to the valve control block 33, to the pressure measuring device 35 and to the drain valve 36 (lines to 35 and 36 not shown).
- the control part 41 also contains the safety circuits 48 for valve monitoring on the control cable and for room temperature monitoring 49.
- the circuits can be set in such a way that they automatically switch off, for example, from a running time of more than one hour or from a room temperature of, for example, greater than 65 ° C. .
- FIG. 6a further shows, the control cables 50, 50 'lead from the control part 41 to the outside. These cables are provided with a telephone plug 51, 51 ', as a result of which they can be connected to a power supply unit 52, which converts the mains voltage into a low voltage, preferably 12 V.
- the power supply 52 is connected on the one hand directly to a socket and on the other hand is operatively connected to a remote control unit 44, preferably via infrared.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a mattress for Lounge furniture with a centrally arranged Air cushion by an elastic Shaped body is surrounded.
Mattresses play in the living and sleeping areas of this type compared to mattresses for conventional bed systems a subordinate Role. Basically, air beds are suitable to achieve a high level of comfort especially because of the pressure of the air cushion different, i.e. to the needs of the Customized, can be adjusted. This creates significant production and sales advantages because not for each desired degree of hardness has its own mattress must be produced and kept in stock. UNITED STATES 4435 864 discloses an air bed, the Air cushions in the surrounding mattress body is fooled. The benefits of a variable Air pressure and interchangeability in the event of a defect, however, there is a mumbling one Stability especially in the peripheral areas of the Reclining furniture, generally its deformity and the one-sidedness of the air cushion.
Gesässzone) an weniger belastete Zonen (z.B. With simple air beds without or without there is another noteworthy padding Disadvantage in that the mattress air Mattress loading by using Regions with high pressure (e.g. Buttocks area) to less stressed areas (e.g. Foot zone etc.) and there the internal pressure noticeably increased. EP 0 453 363 B1 discloses a mattress body that is a Air cushions or around conventional bed springs curved trachea only in the central zone of the Provides mattress body while the head and Foot zones are built conventionally. With this arrangement of the Air chambers can be more heavily loaded Buttocks area needs and variable set higher pressure than in the head and Foot zones; this also makes the one described Problem of shifting the internal pressure disarmed or even in the case of air pipes eliminated. The disadvantage of this is that Construction that is both complicated and bulky and the individual zones are not connects compactly, but only strung together. The individual zones can do not act as a uniform spring system.
With the problem of one or more air chambers with a single pump unit and Control device variable and needs-based to fill out inventions that address Load responsive or automatic Control systems have to the subject. US 5 509 154 (= WO 96/13947) discloses an automatic, by the user via remote control operable control system with which in two Air cushions arranged alongside each other different air pressures applied and constant can be held. The disadvantage here is that Irregularity of the system with an air pump that is not integrated in the bed frame. The Control is limited to the Regulation of a maximum of two air cushions neither with the bed frame nor with one upper and lower padding compactly connected are.
Finally, EP 0 620 716 B1 describes one Mattress with one or more air chambers and with integrated, responsive to stress Air system for automatic refilling Air diffusion. The disadvantage is that the Pressure of each air chamber does not have a single one Remote control device can be controlled but a separate one for each air chamber, by hand adjustable pressure regulating valve required. In addition, padding and air cushions are not compactly connected. The stability of the The body of the mattress is therefore largely based on a solid, enveloping coating of mostly natural material like that used for air beds is known.
The object of the invention is that overcome disadvantages described and a To create a mattress of the type mentioned so high lying comfort that it can be used simplest bases can be combined and thus the manufacture of an inexpensive Lounger furniture enables. The task accomplishes Mattress body with the features of the claim 1. Other features according to the invention are based the dependent claims, and their Advantages are in the description below explained.

Different load pressures are created on a mattress body during use in different zones. Fig. 1 shows the acting forces (F) when loaded by use. As a result of increased load pressure in the buttocks area, the greatest force acts at this point. The force acting on the head and feet, but also in the cross section, is the smallest, with the shoulder section roughly in between. For users suffering from lordosis, the strength can also be great in the cross zone. It should also be taken into account that these zones do not form clear boundaries, but shift due to the movement of a user in the plane or overlap in the boundary zones. The mattress body according to the invention. 2 takes into account the problem of forces acting differently at different points to a previously unknown extent.
Wie Fig. 1 weiter zeigt, besteht der
Matratzenkörper 2 aus dem zentral angeordneten
Luftkissen 6 und dem sogenannten elastischen
Formkörper 5. Das Luftkissen 6 wirkt als innere
Feder (f1, f4). Der elastische Formkörper 5 wirkt
als äussere Feder (f2, f5). Beide Federn sind
miteinander über einen Steg 7 kraftschlüssig
verbunden und bilden ein einheitliches und
aufeinander abgestimmtes Federsystem (f3 = f1 + 2
x f2; f6 = f4 + 2 x f5).
As FIG. 1 also shows, the
Der sogenannte elastische Formkörper 5
besteht, wie Fig. 2 weiter zeigt, aus zwei
Längsbalken 17 und zwei Querbalken 18, die den
Rahmen bilden, welcher seinerseits durch die
obere Abdeckmatte 19 und die untere Abdeckmatte
20 gegen oben und unten abgeschlossen wird. Beide
Abdeckmatten 19,20 weisen einerseits je eine
Reihe hintereinander angeordneter, quer zum
Matratzenkörper verlaufender fingerdicker
Luftaustauschkanäle 21 auf sowie andererseits,
versetzt und darunter- bzw. darüberliegend, je
eine Reihe hintereinander angeordneter, quer zum
Matratzenkörper verlaufender fingerdicker Be- und
Entlüftungskanäle 22. Die Längsbalken 17, nicht
aber die Querbalken 18, weisen ihrerseits eine
obere und untere Reihe von Be- und
Entlüftungskanälen 22' auf, wobei diese in ihrer
Position jeweils unter den Be- und
Entlüftungskanälen 22 der oberen Abdeckmatte 19
bzw. über den Be- und Entlüftungskanälen 22 der
unteren Abdeckmatte 20 angeordnet sind. Dadurch
kann allfällig entstehendes Kondenswasser
ausgetrocknet bzw. dessen Entstehung überhaupt
verhindert werden. Den Luftaustauschkanälen 21
und. den Be- und Entlüftungskanälen 22 und 22'
kommt des weiteren die erfindungsgemässe Aufgabe
zu, die Abstimmung zwischen innerer Feder (f1,f4)
und äusserer Feder (f2,f5) zu gewährleisten und
damit die Wirkung des einheitlichen Federsystems
(f3 = f1 + 2 x f2; f6 = f4 + 2 x f5) zu
unterstützen. Da wegen der längsseitigen Position
eines Benutzers auf dem Matratzenkörper 2 im
allgemeinen nur auf den Längsbalken 17, nicht
jedoch auf den Querbalken 18 grössere Kräfte
einwirken, kann beim Querbalken 18 auf eine
unterstützende Federwirkung verzichtet werden;
Be-. und Entlüftungskanäle 22,22' sind deshalb
nicht vorgesehen. Zwischen Luftkissen 6 und
oberer Abdeckmatte 19 befindet sich, wie Fig. 2a
zeigt, ein oberes Vlies 23, zwischen Luftkissen 6
und unterer Abdeckmatte 20 ein unteres Vlies 24.
Die Vliese können aus synthetischem oder
natürlichem Material bestehen und werden nur mit
den Abdeckmatten 19,20, nicht aber mit dem
Luftkissen 6 verklebt. Diese Anordnung
gewährleistet bei variablem Luftkammervolumen
eine optimale Anpassungsfähigkeit der
Abdeckmatten 19,20 an das Luftkissen; eine die
Federleistung behindernde Oberflächenspannung
kann dadurch nicht entstehen. Zudem kommt den
Vliesen eine geräuschdämmende Wirkung zu.The so-called elastic molded
Alle Teile 17-24 des Matratzenkörpers 2 bilden
eine Einheit und wirken gemeinsam als äussere
Feder (f2,f5).
verklebt. Erfindungsgemäss werden dadurch
Luftkissen 6 und elastischer Formkörper 5
kraftschlüssig miteinander verbunden. Der
Position des Stegs 7 auf halber Seitenhöhe
entsprechen im Handel erhältliche, seitlich gegen
aussen bombierte Luftkissen 6. Bei zonenweise
einwirkenden Belastungskräften insbesondere auch
beim längsseitigen Übergang vom Luftkissen 6 in
den elastischen Formkörper 5 wird dadurch eine
hohe Elastizität des Federsystems erzeugt, ohne
dass ein Verlust an Stabilität hingenommen werden
muss. Das erfindungsgemässe Federsystem fängt
damit die auf den Matratzenkörper 2 wirkenden
Belastungsdrucke nicht nur durch eine vertikale
Feder (f1, f2), sondern auch durch eine
horizontale Feder (f4,f5) auf.All parts 17-24 of the
Das Luftkissen 6 weist in seinem Inneren
längsseitige Stützwände 29 und querseitige
Stützwände 30 auf, die dem Luftkissen 6 eine
rippenförmige Oberfläche verleihen. Fig. 3 zeigt
Be- bzw.
einheitlichen, aufeinander abgestimmten
Federsystems (f3 = f1 + 2 x f2; f6 = f4 + 2 x
f5).The
In einer weiteren Ausführungsart gemäss Fig. 4
wird der elastische Formkörper 5' in einem Stück
formgeschäumt. Indem das Luftkissen 6 mit dem
elastischen Formkörper 5' eine feste Verbindung
eingeht, werden innere Feder (fl,f4) und äussere
Feder (f2,f5) kraft- und formschlüssig zu einem
einheitlichen Federsystem (f3 = f1 + 2 x f2; f6 =
f4 + 2 x f5) verbunden.
angebracht. Das so beschichtete Luftkissen 6 wird
nun zusätzlich mit einer dünnen, atmungsaktiven
Folie 13 umgeben, wobei der Steg 7 freigelassen
wird. Dadurch wird einerseits verhindert, dass
während des Formschäumungsprozesses flüssige
Masse in die Vertiefungen 12 zwischen Luftkissen
6 und Vliesen 23,24 gelangt und die Be- bzw.
Entlüftungskanäle 21 verstopfen kann.
Andererseits wird damit bezweckt, dass der
elastische Formkörper 5' mit dem Steg 7 eine
kraftschlüssige und mit dem Luftkissen 6 als
Ganzes eine formschlüssige Verbindung eingehen
kann. Der atmungsaktiven Folie 13 kommt dabei die
Funktion zu, eine formschlüssige Umschliessung
des Luftkissens 6 durch den elastischen
Formkörper 5' zu ermöglichen und gleichzeitig zu
verhindern, dass mit Ausnahme beim Steg 7 eine
kraftschlüssige Verbindung entsteht. Diese
Anordnung bezweckt, dass der elastische
Formkörpers 5' sich bei variablem
Luftkammervolumen optimal an das Luftkissen 6
anpassen und eine die Federleistung behindernde
Oberflächenspannung nicht entstehen kann. Im
Unterschied zum manuellen Verkleben können zudem
bei dieser Verfahrensart am durch die
atmungsaktive Folie 13 nicht bedeckten Steg 7
keine harten Unebenheiten entstehen, was ein
störungsfreies Wirken der äusseren Feder (f2,f5)
ermöglicht. Auch bei dieser Ausführungsart werden
die Be- und Entlüftungskanäle 22 derart entlang
der Längsseite des elastischen Formkörpers 5'
positioniert, dass sie in die durch die
rippenförmige Oberfläche des Luftkissens 6
gebildeten Vertiefungen 12 münden, um eine
optimale Be- bzw. Entlüftung zu ermöglichen.
Zusammen mit den ebenfalls vorgesehenen
Luftaustauschkanälen 21 kommt ihnen zusätzlich
die Aufgabe zu, die Wirkung des einheitlichen,
aufeinander abgestimmten Federsystems (f3 = f1 +
2 x f2; f6 = f4 + 2 x f5) zu unterstützen.In a further embodiment according to FIG. 4 , the elastic molded body 5 'is molded in one piece. Since the
Im folgenden wird beschrieben, wie die Wirkung
der inneren (fl, f4) und der äusseren Feder
(f2,f5) durch zusätzliche Vorkehren erhöht werden
kann. Die äussere Feder lässt sich durch
Verdichten oder Aufpolstern des elastischen
Formkörpers 5 an den gewünschten Stellen
unterschiedlich anordnen. Der Formkörper kann aus
herkömmlichem PUR-Schaum oder Latex gefertigt
sein. Beispielsweise ist es möglich, die
Schulterpartie mit verdichtetem Schaumstoff zu
fertigen, während der Rest der Abdeckmatten 19,20
mit normalverdichteten Schaumstoff hergestellt
wird. Bei für körpergewichtige Benutzer
vorgesehenen Matratzenkörpern 2 ist es auch
denkbar, die gesamte Mittelzone der Abdeckmatten
19,20 und die Schulterpartie mit verdichteten
Schaumstoff zu versehen. The following describes how the effect

Während die äussere Feder (f2,f5) durch fix
angebrachte Vorkehren vorgegeben ist, lässt sich
die innere Feder (f1,f2) durch Veränderung des
Innendrucks variabel einstellen. Dies wird im
folgenden anhand des mit Hilfe von Fig. 5
gezeigten Beispiels für ein Doppelbett mit zwei
Luftkissen 6 beschrieben, die je zwei voneinander
unabhängige, nicht kommunizierende Luftkammern
27,28 aufweisen. Es bestehen also insgesamt vier
voneinander unabhängige, nicht kommunizierende
Luftkammern. Im gezeigten Beispiel sind die
Luftkissen 6 kraftschlüssig mit einem
elastischen Formkörper 5 verbunden, welcher
Längsbalken 17, Querbalken 18, eine obere
Abdeckmatte 19 und eine untere Abdeckmatte 20
aufweist; stattdessen ist auch ein kraft- und
formschlüssiger Verbund mit einem formgeschäumten
einstückigen Formkörper 5' möglich. Die
Luftkissen 6 bestehen je aus einer Kammer 27, die
der Kopf- und Fusszone eines Matratzenkörpers 2
entspricht, und aus einer Kammer 28, die der
Mittelzone eines Matratzenkörpers 2 entspricht.
Die Kammer 28 weist eine luftdichte Trennwand 28'
auf, um sie von der Kammer 27 abzugrenzen. Ein
Verbindungskanal 27' verbindet die zwei Zonen der
Kammer 27. Mit dieser Anordnung können für zwei
nebeneinander liegende Benutzer je verschiedene
Drucke in der Kopf- und Fuss- bzw. Mittelzone
erzeugt werden. Im Längsbalken 17 oder Querbalken
18 besteht eine Aussparung 16 für die Integration
eines kombinierten Pump-/Steuerblocks 31. Dieser
besteht, wie Fig. 6 zeigt, aus einer
Aufblasvorrichtung mit motorischem Antrieb 32 und
einem Ventil-Steuerblock 33. Ein handelsüblicher,
geräuscharmer 12- oder 24-Volt-Kompressor mit
relativ kleiner Förderleistung erfüllt hierfür
seinen Zweck, da die Matratzenkörper, ohne sich
auf diese Ausführungsart beschränken zu wollen,
bereits in aufgeblasenem Zustand auf den Markt
gebracht werden und beispielsweise bei Defekten
eine Reparatur oder Auswechslung durch das Werk
erfolgt. Die Aufblasvorrichtung 32 ist mit den
Luftkammern 27,28 beider Luftkissen 6 über den
Ventil-Steuerblock 33 und separaten, zu jeder der
vier Luftkammern hin- bzw. wegführenden
Luftleitungen 34 verbunden. Der Ventil-Steuerblock
33 besteht für das in Fig. 5
gezeigte Doppelbett aus vier Zwei-Weg-Ventilen
37, an welche die Luftleitungen 34 angeschlossen
werden. Der gleiche Pump-/Steuerblock 31 kann
auch für die Ausführungsvariante "Einzelbett"
verwendet werden; dabei werden zwei Ventile 37
nicht gebraucht und bleiben verschlossen. Sind
stattdessen in einem Doppelbett sechs oder acht
unabhängige, miteinander nicht kommunizierende
Luftkammern vorgesehen, werden entsprechend mehr
Zwei-Weg-Ventile 37 benötigt. Der Ventil-Steuerblock
33 ist über eine Luftleitung 34 mit
dem Ablassventil 36 und mit der
Aufblasvorrichtung 32 verbunden. Über das
Ablassventil 36 kann Überdruck abgebaut werden.
Über die Luftleitung 34' ist auch das
Druckmessgerät 35 angeschlossen, welches auf
entsprechenden, auf der Fernbetätigungseinheit 44
eingegebenen Befehl den Druck jeder einzelnen
Luftkammer 27,28 misst. Im kombinierten Pump-/Steuerblock
31 befinden sich des weiteren ein
Transformator 38 und eine elektronische Schaltung
41, von wo aus über die Steuerleitungen 40 die
notwendigen Steuersignale für das Aufpumpen der
einzelnen Luftkammern 27,28 übermittelt werden.
Im Einzelnen bedeutet dies, dass der
Transformator 38 auch die elektronische Schaltung
41 mit Strom versorgt, von welcher aus die
Steuerleitungen 40 zur Aufblasvorrichtung mit
motorischem Antrieb 32, zum Ventil-Steuerblock
33, zum Druckmessgerät 35 und zum Ablassventil 36
führen. While the outer spring (f2, f5) is determined by fixed measures, the inner spring (f1, f2) can be variably adjusted by changing the internal pressure. This is described below with reference to the example shown in FIG. 5 for a double bed with two
Wie Fig. 5 und 6 zeigen, führen vom
Transformator 38 aus die Netz-/Steuerkabel 45,45'
gegen aussen. Diese Kabel 45,45' werden je mit
einem Rundstecker 42,42' versehen, an welche
wahlweise eine Steuervorrichtung 43 angeschlossen
werden kann. Die Steuervorrichtung 43 wird
einerseits an eine Steckdose angeschlossen und
steht andererseits in Wirkverbindung mit einer
Fernbetätigungseinheit 44, vorzugsweise über
Infrarot. Die Netz-/Steuerkabel 45,45' werden
deshalb auf beiden Seiten des Matratzen körpers 2
gegen aussen geführt, damit die Steuervorrichtung
43 immer auf der selben Seite des Bettes
angeschlossen werden kann, unabhängig davon, ob
der Matratzenkörper 2 auf der einen oder anderen
Seite benutzt wird. Wird der Matratzen körper 2
gewendet, genügt mit anderen Worten ein einfaches

Die Luftdruckregulierung erfolgt stufenlos
oder durch Betätigung von mehreren auf der
Fernbetätigungseinheit 44 angebrachten
Vorwahltasten, die einem vordefinierten Wert
entsprechen. In einer bevorzugten Ausführung
handelt es sich hierbei um Überdruckwerte im
Bereich von 1 - 60 mbar. Auf der
Fernbetätigungseinheit 44 sind bis zu zehn auf
Belastungsdruck reagierende Vorwahltasten
angebracht, die bis zu zehn verschiedenen,
vordefinierten Druckwerten entsprechen.
Druckstufen 27,28 anzeigt. Durch Betätigen einer
Taste, die beispielsweise "L" (für linkes
Luftkissen oder "R" (für rechtes Luftkissen)
heissen kann, werden die entsprechenden Werte der
Luftkammern 27,28 für das linke resp. rechte

In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsart ist die
Steuervorrichtung 43 mit einer Netzfreischaltung
46 versehen, wie sie etwa in Verbindung mit
Motorenbetten vorbekannt sind. In einer weiteren,
angepassten Variante wird - wie in Fig. 6a
gezeigt wird - ein Netzgerät 52 an eine Steckdose
angeschlossen, und die Stromversorgung des
kombinierten Pump-/Steuerblocks (31) erfolgt
Fig. 6a weiter zeigt, führen vom Steuerteil 41
aus die Steuerkabel 50, 50' gegen aussen. Diese
Kabel werden mit einem Telefonstecker 51,51'
versehen, wodurch sie an ein Netzgerät 52
angeschlossen werden können, welches die
Netzspannung in eine Niederspannung, vorzugsweise
12 V, umwandelt. Das Netzgerät 52 wird einerseits
direkt an eine Steckdose angeschlossen und steht
andererseits in Wirkverbindung mit einer
Fernbetätigungseinheit 44, vorzugsweise über
Infrarot.
In a preferred embodiment, the
Im erfindungsgemässen einheitlichen
Federsystem (f3, f6) können die zusätzlichen
Vorkehren an der inneren Feder (f1,f4) bzw.
äusseren Feder (f2,f5) miteinander kombiniert
werden. Beispielsweise ist ein Matratzenkörper 2
für übergewichtige Benutzer denkbar, der sowohl
eine Verstärkung der äusseren Feder im Bereich
der Mittelzone des Matratzenkörpers als auch
einen höheren Innendruck der Luftkammern 27,28
vorsieht.
In the uniform according to the invention

Auch diese Variante ist durch Anbringen einer
zusätzlichen Vorwahltaste auf der
Fernbetätigungseinheit realisierbar, damit alle
Optionen weiterhin, wie zuvor beschrieben, mit
einer einzigen Fernbetätigungseinheit bedienbar
sind. Der Wert, um welchen herum der Luftdruck
pulsiert entspricht dabei einem der
vordefinierten und mittels Vorwahltaste
einstellbaren Wert. Weitere, hier nicht näher
beschriebene Vorkehren am Luftkissen 6 oder
elastischen Formkörper 5 sind ebenfalls dem
Bereich dieser Erfindung zuzurechnen, sofern sie
auf der Kombination von innerer (f1,f4) und
äusserer Feder (f2, f5) zu einem aufeinander
abgestimmten, einheitlichen und sich der Dynamik
ablösenden Federsystem beruhen, mit welchem das
