Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anordnung für ein Sicherheitsmodul, welches über ein Interface (8) auf eine Grundplatte (9) eines postalischen Gerätes, insbesondere einer Frankiermaschine, gesteckt wird. Die Batterie ist (134) auswechselbar auf dem Sicherheitsmodul (100) angeordnet und die Spannungsüberwachungseinheit (12) weist Schaltungsmittel für eine rücksetzbare Selbsthaltung auf, wobei die Selbsthaltung ausgelöst wird, wenn die Batteriespannung unter eine vorbestimmte Schwelle sinkt. Der Zustand kann von einem Prozessor (120) über eine Leitung (164) abgefragt werden. Die Rücksetzung der Selbsthaltung ist über die Leitung (135) erst auslösbar, wenn die Batteriespannung über die vorbestimmte Schwelle gestiegen ist. The invention relates to an arrangement for a security module which is plugged via an interface (8) onto a base plate (9) of a postal device, in particular a franking machine. The battery is (134) interchangeably arranged on the security module (100) and the voltage monitoring unit (12) has circuit means for resettable self-holding, the self-holding being triggered when the battery voltage drops below a predetermined threshold. The status can be queried by a processor (120) via a line (164). The reset of the self-retention can only be triggered via the line (135) when the battery voltage has risen above the predetermined threshold.
