Abstract

Ein Verfahren zum Empfangen und Ausgeben von Information, insbesondere von Daten, wie sie üblicherweise auf Visitenkarten im geschäftlichen Verkehr aufgedruckt sind, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet,

  • daß auf einer physisch vorhandenen Karte eines Emittenten eine elektronisch oder mechanisch lesbare Adresse eines an ein Telekommunikationsnetz angeschlossenen Servers gespeichert wird,
  • daß die Karte von einem Benutzer einem Terminal zugeführt wird, welches die gespeicherte Adresse liest und über diese Adresse Kontakt mit dem Server aufnimmt,
  • daß der angesprochene Server aus einer Visitenkarten-Datenbank emittentenspezifische Information ausliest und an das Terminal des Benutzers sendet,
  • und daß das Terminal die empfangene emittentenspezifische Information nach Art einer Visitenkarte des Emittenten optisch aufbereitet auf einer Ausgabe- oder Anzeigeeinheit ausgibt.
    • Damit wird trotz physischen Austausches von Visitenkarten ein möglichst zeitnahes "Updating" der auf der Visitenkarte vorhandenen Informationen ermöglicht, wobei eine erheblich höhere Datenmenge als bei "klassischen" Visitenkarten vom Emittenten der Karte an die jeweiligen Empfänger übermittelbar ist.A method for receiving and outputting information, in particular data, as is usually printed on business cards in the course of business, is characterized in that

  • and that the terminal outputs the received issuer-specific information in the manner of a business card of the issuer on an output or display unit.
    • Despite physical exchange of business cards, this enables the information on the business card to be updated as promptly as possible, with a considerably higher amount of data than with "classic" business cards being able to be transmitted from the card issuer to the respective recipient.
