Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Matratze oder ein Polster mit mindestens einem aufblasbaren oder mit einem pumpbaren Füllmedium füllbaren Polsterelement mit einer Einrichtung zur Regulierung des Fülldruckes.
Bei bekannten Luftpolstermatratzen sind in Querrichtung zur Matratzenlänge, parallel mit Abstand zueinander liegende Polsterelemente, bzw. Luftkammern, einzeln aufblasbar. Die Luftkammern sind dabei in Füllund Stützmaterial eingebettet und vorzugsweise mit mehreren Lagen von Wolle und Seide bedeckt. Die Aufblasstutzen der Polsterelemente sind vorteilhaft derart seitlich am Matratzenkörper angeordnet, dass sie leicht zugänglich und dennoch geschützt und nicht störend sind. Eine solche Matratze wurde von der Anmelderin 1983 entwickelt. Gewöhnlich erfolgt das Aufblasen mit einer jeweils an das gewünschte Polsterelement ansetzbaren Luftpumpe. Jedes Polsterelement kann durch diese Handpumpe auf die gewünschte Härte aufgeblasen werden. Da dies jedoch umständlich ist, wurde die Verwendung einer elektrischen Pumpe vorgeschlagen. Deren Bedienung ist zwar einfacher als bei einer Handpumpe, dennoch erscheint sie vielen Kunden immer noch zu kompliziert. Die Möglichkeiten einer Luftpolstermatratze werden daher in der Praxis kaum richtig genutzt.
In EP 0 489 310 ist u.a. ein Sitz beschrieben, dessen Sitzfläche in eine Mehrzahl von Teilflächen bildenden Kammern aufgeteilt ist. Diese sind mit einer Einrichtung zur Erfassung der auf diese Teilflächen lastenden Druckverteilung verbunden. Die Einrichtung ist dabei so ausgelegt, dass zur Verbesserung des Sitzkomforts ein Druckausgleich durch Erhöhung oder Verringerung des Druckes einzelner Teilflächen stattfindet.
Ein weiterer Nachteil bekannter Matratzen liegt in der Ausbildung der Polsterelemente, bzw. der Luftkammern. Um eine bequeme Liegefläche zu erhalten sind breite, kissenartige Polsterelemente erforderlich. Dies vermindert jedoch die Atmungsaktivität der Matratze, da die Luftzirkulation behindert wird. Eine Matratze, die die Luftzirkulation unterbindet, verursacht eine erhebliche höhere Transpiration des Schlafenden. Die Feuchtigkeit schlägt sich nieder, die wiederum eine ungesunde Pilzbildung hervorrufen kann. Die um diesem Problem vorzubeugen geschaffenen, schmalen Luftkammern in Form von Luftschläuchen, bilden jedoch auf der Liegefläche unangenehme Druckstellen.
Durch Pumpen und Luftablassen einen individuell optimalen Liegekomfort zu erreichen, gestaltet sich in jedem Fall so umständlich, dass sich Luftpolstermatratzen bisher auf dem Markt nicht richtig durchsetzen konnten.
Die Erfindung stellt sich die Aufgabe, eine Matratze oder ein Polster zu schaffen, die hinsichtlich Komfort, Ergonomie und Handhabung den bisher bekannten überlegen sind.
Die erfindungsgemässe Matratze oder das Polster entspricht den Gegenstand des Patentanspruchs 1. Weitere vorteilhafte Ausbildungen gehen aus den abhängigen Patentansprüchen hervor.
Nachfolgend wird ein bevorzugtes Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes anhand der Zeichnung näher beschrieben.

Im Körper der Matratze ist eine Mehrzahl von Polsterelementen 1 angeordnet. Diese sind U-förmig ausgebildet, so dass sich je zwei Luft- bzw. Polsterkammern 2 bilden, die durch eine seitliche Verbindungskammer 3 miteinander verbunden und gemeinsam aufblasbar sind. Die Polsterelemente 1, im vorliegenden Beispiels sind es deren fünf, sind in einem hochwertigen, elastischen Schaumstoff 4 eingebettet. Der derart konstruierte Matratzenkörper ist von einer Schutzhülle 5 umgeben, auf die eine Lage Schurwolle 6 und eine Lage Tussah-Seide 7 aufgebracht sind. Wie üblich, ist das Ganze vom einem Bezug 8 umgeben.
Im Bereich des Kopf- oder Fussendes 9, wo Polsterkammern 2 ohnehin keinen Sinn haben, ist eine Einrichtung 10 zur Regulierung des Luft- bzw. Fülldruckes im Matratzenkörper untergebracht. Diese ist über Leitungen 11 mit den aufblasbaren Polsterelementen 1 verbunden, wobei zu jedem Polsterelement 1 eine separate, eigene Leitung 11 führt. Die Einrichtung 10 ist über eine Stromleitung mit einem Netzgerät 12 verbunden. Dieses dient einerseits als Transformator, um den Netzstrom 13 in Schwachstrom, vorzugsweise 24 Volt, zu transformieren und andererseits als Empfänger für eine Fernsteuerung 14. Diese ist vorzugsweise drahtlos. Der Transformator ist ausserdem an eine Netzfreischaltung gekoppelt, welche die Stromzufuhr an die Einrichtung 10 zur Regulierung des Luft- bzw. Fülldruckes unterbricht, wenn diese nicht in Betrieb zu sein braucht, d.h. wenn die gewünschten Einstellungen erreicht sind.
Die Polsterelemente 1 sind gemäss Fig. 2 so ausgebildet, dass die beiden Polsterkammern 2 breiter als hoch sind, beispielsweise 14 cm breit und 7 cm hoch. In Längsrichtung jeder Polsterkammer 2 ist ein Steg 15 angeordnet, der die Polsterkammer 2 in zwei Hälften unterteilt. Der Steg 15 kann alleine nicht hinreichend verhindern, dass sich die Polsterkammer 2 zu einem prallen, runden Querschnitt aufblähen kann. Es werden durch den Steg 15 zwei Hälften gebildet, wodurch sich die Polsterkammer 2 im Querschnitt 8-förmig aufblasen würde. Die Polsterelemente 1 sind darum zusätzlich so konstruiert, dass sie auch aufgeblasen eine annähernd rechteckige Form behalten. Dies kann beispielsweise dadurch erreicht werden, indem die Polsterkammern 2 aus entsprechend zusammengesetzten, einzelnen Wandteilen aufgebaut sind. Vorzugsweise sind die Wandteile zwar weich, jedoch nur beschränkt dehnbar, so dass sie im wenig aufgeblasenen Zustand nicht stören, sich bei härterem Aufblasen jedoch nur geringfügig wölben. Wichtig ist dabei, dass die jeweils zur Liegefläche hin liegende Wand der Polsterkammer 2 möglichst flach bleibt Auf diese Weise ergibt sich eine annähernd flache Liegefläche, die in etwa derjenigen eines Lattenrostes entspricht. Insbesondere bei hart aufgeblasenen, rundlichen Schläuchen, wie sie bisher üblich waren, ergäbe sich dagegen eine weniger komfortable Liegefläche mit spürbaren Rippen, welche unangenehme Druckstellen bilden die einem erholsamen Schlaf hinderlich sind. Ein härteres Aufblasen war darum bisher in der Praxis nicht möglich. Durch die annähernd flach ausfallende Liegefläche, werden also sowohl der Liegekomfort als auch die Einsatzmöglichkeit der Matratze wesentlich verbessert.
Die Einrichtung 10 zur Regulierung des Luft- bzw. Fülldruckes, die vorzugsweise eine Membran-Vakuumpumpe aufweist, ist so ausgelegt, dass jede einzelne Leitung 11 mit einem eigenen Druck beaufschlagbar ist. Die Pumpe weist zu diesem Zweck fünf verschiedene Ventile auf. Denkbar ist selbstverständlich auch eine Matratze mit einer kleineren oder grösseren Anzahl von separat aufblasbaren Polsterelementen 1. Die Einrichtung 10 ist mit einer programmierbaren Steuerung versehen, durch welche die Polsterelemente 1 einzeln nach einer herstellerseitigen Vorgabe und/oder nach den individuellen Wünschen des Benützers regulierbar sind. In Fig. 3 ist als Beispiel ein Druckverteilungsdiagramm dargestellt. Dieses ist in fünf Bereiche aufgeteilt, entsprechend der Anzahl der Polsterelemente 1. Entsprechend einer Druckskala 16, die hier bis 300 Millibar reicht, können die einzelnen Polsterelemente 1 aufgeblasen werden. Sinnvollerweise ist der Druck im Gesässbereich 17 am grössten zu wählen, während die übrigen Bereiche entprechen abzustufen sind. Im Beinbereich 21 wird der geringste Druck benötigt.
Die Steuerung, bzw. das Programm der Einrichtung 10 zur Regulierung des Fülldruckes, ist vorzugsweise so ausgelegt, dass der Benützer die gewünschte Härte im Einstellungsbereich zwischen einem vorgegebenen minimalen und einem maximalen Druck einstellen kann. Auf diese Weise ist sichergestellt, dass die Polsterkammern 2 nicht beschädigt werden können. Darüber hinaus wird der Steuerung mindestens eine Grundeinstellung vorgegeben. Dabei wird von einem durchschnittlichen Gewicht des Benützers ausgegangen. Um nun Personen beliebigen Gewichtes ein angenehmes Liegen zu ermöglichen, sind die Einrichtung 10 und deren Steuerung so ausgebildet, dass auf Abruf eine vollautomatische, individuelle Gewichtsanpassung erfolgt. Durch das Gewicht der auf der Matratze, bzw. auf den aufgeblasenen Polsterelementen 1 liegenden Person, lastet auf den Ventilen der Einrichtung 10 ein bestimmter, individuell unterschiedlicher Druck, der über elektronische Sensoren und/oder über an die Steuerung angeschlossene Druckventile erfasst wird. Diese Ventile und/oder Sensoren könnten selbstverständlich auch räumlich getrennt von der Einrichtung 10 angeordnet sein. Gibt nun der Benützer mittels eines einfachen Tastendrucks den Befehl zur Gewichtsanpassung, betätigt die Steuerung sowohl die Pumpe als auch die einzelnen Ventile vollautomatisch so, dass der Druck in den Polsterkammern 2 der einzelnen Polsterelemente 1 dem auf ihnen lastenden Gewicht angepasst wird, bis der der Grundeinstellung entsprechende Liegekomfort erreicht ist.
Hierzu kann das Steuerungsprogramm so ausgelegt sein, dass jeder Liegedruck ein bestimmter Pumpdruck auslöst, sei es über vorgegebene, gespeicherte Werte oder über eine vorgegebene Rechenoperation. Der Steuerung sind also entweder eine Mehrzahl von Liege- und Pumpdruck-Werten derart vorgegeben, dass einem auf einem Polsterelement 1 lastenden Liegedruck, ähnlich einer Tabelle, jeweils ein bestimmter Pumpdruck entspricht oder es ist eine Rechenoperation vorgegeben, die die individuell erforderliche Umrechnung durchführt. Bei einer schweren Person werden die Polsterelemente 1 bis zu einem entsprechend hohen Druck aufgeblasen. Bei einer leichten Person wird dagegen die Luft so weit aus den Polsterelementen 1 abgelassen, bis die vorgegebenen Werte erreicht sind. In beiden Fällen kann dies für jedes Polsterelement 1 separat erfolgen, so dass letztlich auch die individuell verschiedene Grösse und der Körperbau Berücksichtigung finden können. Wie gesagt, können als Ausgangslage entweder eine oder auch mehrere Grundeinstellungen vorgegeben sein, so dass verschiedene Härte- bzw. Liegekomfort-Stufen individuell angepasst abrufbar sind. Beispielsweise könnten die drei Stufen "Hart", "Mittel" und "Weich" vorgegeben sein, wobei automatisch oder auf Tastenbefehl die Anpassung an das individuelle Gewicht erfolgt. Die erforderlichen Daten und/oder Operationen sind der Steuerung einprogrammiert. Es ist also völlig gleichgültig ob sich ein Kind oder eine Person mit 150 Kg Gewicht auf die Matratze legt. Jeder kann durch einen einzigen Tastendruck seine individuelle Matratzeneinstellung vornehmen. Selbstverständlich ist darüber hinaus auch ein Anpassen an eigene Einstellungswünsche ohne weiteres möglich. Ist ihm oder ihr die Matratze zu weich oder zu hart oder wünscht man in gewissen Bereichen mehr Stützkraft oder Komfort, stellt man die Zonen manuell nach. So kann beispielsweise dem Polsterelement 1 im Gesäss- oder Schulterbereich 17 bzw. 19 beliebig noch etwas mehr Druck gegeben oder weggenommen werden. Auch hierzu genügt ein einfacher Tastendruck. Die Werte sind dann gespeichert. Schläft eine andere Person in diesem Bett, drückt sie wiederum auf die Bedienungstaste 32.
Die Fernsteuerung 14 ist nach Fig. 4 mit den entsprechenden Bedienungstasten 22 - 32 versehen. Zur besseren Übersicht für den Benützer sind auf der Fernsteuerung vorzugsweise die Umrisse 33 eines Menschen abgebildet, so dass die Lage der den Bedienungstasten zugeordneten Polsterelementen 1 sofort ersichtlich ist. Durch die Bedienungstasten 22, 24, 26, 28 und 30 kann das entsprechende Polsterelement 1 welcher und mittels der Bedienungstasten 23, 25, 27, 29 und 31 härter eingestellt werden. Die Umrisse 33 können auch auf einem Display abgebildet sein, wobei die Bedienungstasten auf letzterem angeordnete Sensortasten sein können. Zur individuellen, vollautomatischen Anpassung kann hier die Bedienungstaste 32 gedrückt werden. Es ist indessen auch möglich, diese Bedienungstaste 32 als geschützte Taste auszubilden, so dass ein unbeabsichtigtes Verstellen ausgeschlossen werden kann. Hierzu könnte die Taste unter einer Klappe öder hinter einem Schieber angeordnet werden, beispielsweise auch auf der Rückseite der Fernbedienung 14. Denkbar wäre es auch, die Bedienungstaste 32 so zu gestalten, dass sie nur mit einem Werkzeug, beispielsweise mit einer Kugelschreiberspitze betätigbar ist. Es können zudem auch mehrere, verschiedenen Härtegraden zugeordnete Tasten vorhanden sein. Möglich wäre es auch mehrere, als Speichertasten ausgelegte Bedienungstasten 32 vorzusehen, so dass mehrere Personen ihre gespeicherte, individuelle Einstellung abrufen können indem sie auf ihre persönliche Taste drücken. Dies könnte u.a. in Gästezimmern oder Ferienwohnungen nützlich sein. Es sei in diesem Zusammenhang darauf hingewiesen, dass diese Matratze insbesondere auch für Hotels der gehobenen Kategorie gut geeignet ist, da sie es als besonderen Service ermöglicht, jedem Gast den gewünschten Liegekomfort zu bieten. Da hierzu nur eine einzige Taste zu drücken ist, bereitet dies weder dem Gast noch dem Personal irgendwelche Schwierigkeiten.
Es liegt im Rahmen der Erfindung die Matratze bzw. das Polster auch anders als vorgehend beschrieben auszubilden. Theoretisch wäre auch die Verwendung eines anderen Füllmediums als Luft denkbar Voraussetzung ist, dass dieses Medium pumpbar ist. Möglich ist es auch, eine oder mehrere Druckausgleichskammern vorzusehen, wobei die Regulierung der Polsterkammern 1 dadurch erfolgt, dass das Medium zwischen diesen und den Druckausgleichskammern hin- und her gepumpt wird. Es versteht sich von selbst, dass das vorgeschlagene Luft-Pumpsystem am einfachsten ist. In jedem Fall wird dem Kunden eine intelligente Matratze geboten, die ein absolutes Maximum an individuellem Liegekomfort bei einem Minimum an Bedienungsaufwand bietet.

Claims (6)

  1. Matratze oder Polster mit mindestens einem aufblasbaren oder mit einem pumpbaren Füllmedium füllbaren Polsterelement (1), mit einer Einrichtung (10) zur Regulierung des Fülldruckes, gekennzeichnet durch eine dieser Einrichtung (10) zugeordnete Steuerung, in welcher Fülldruck-Werte und/oder mindestens eine Rechenoperation zur Ermittlung eines Fülldruck-Wertes vorgegeben oder einprogrammiert ist, wobei die Einrichtung (10) so ausgelegt ist, dass die automatisch oder vom Bediener abrufbare Druck-Anpassung erstens in Abhängigkeit vom Gewicht einer liegenden Person, und der hierdurch bewirkten Druckveränderung, im Füllmedium und zweitens in Abhängigkeit von einem einstellbaren Härte- bzw. Liegekomfort-Grad erfolgt.
  2. Matratze oder Polster nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der einstellbare Härte- bzw. Liegekomfort-Grad mindestens drei Stufen umfasst, z.B. die Stufen "Hart", "Mittel" oder "Weich".
  3. Matratze oder Polster nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Mehrzahl von aufblasbaren bzw. füllbaren Polsterelementen (1) vorgesehen ist, z.B. fünf Polsterelemente (1) mit je zwei Polsterkammern (2) die mittels einer Verbindungskammer (3) untereinander in Verbindung stehen.
  4. Matratze oder Polster nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens die zur Liegefläche gewandte Wand der Polsterelemente (1) so ausgebildet ist, dass sie im aufgeblasenen bzw. gefüllten Zustand annähernd flach bleibt.
  5. Matratze oder Polster nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Polsterelemente (1) im aufgeblasenen bzw. gefüllten Zustand einen annähernd rechteckigen Querschnitt aufweisen, z.B. indem sie aus entsprechenden Wandteilen zusammengesetzt sind, welche aus einem weichen aber nur wenig elastischen Material bestehen.
  6. Matratze oder Polster nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 5, gekennzeichnet durch eine vorzugsweise drahtlose Fernbedienung (14) auf der die Umrisse (33) eines Menschen abgebildet sind, mit dem Zweck dem Bediener die Erkennung der Lage der den Bedienungstasten (22 - 31) zugeordneten Polsterelemente (1) zu ermöglichen.
