Description

The invention relates to a machine for producing a tissue web with a forming region comprising at least one continuous endless dewatering screen. It further relates to a method according to the preamble of claim 9.

US 5 746 887, US 5 492 598, SE 427053) wird vorgeschlagen, sogenannte Prägesiebe oder -filze einzusetzen. Heretofore, attempts have been made to improve the quality parameters of a tissue web, e.g. the water absorption capacity, the water retention capacity and the water absorption rate, influenced by the design of the surface structure of the web. In the prior art (see for example US 5 746 887, US 5 492 598, SE 427053) it is proposed to use so-called embossing screens or felts. These characterize the tissue web already formed their own surface structure. In this process, the tissue web is subjected to pressure and thereby counteracts a desired high volume (bulk) counteracted. At the same time, this method requires a high expenditure on equipment, since the embossing screens are used only for this purpose. Often, these methods are still combined with special, expensive drying methods to increase the specific volume.

From WO 96/35018 and US 5,654,076 twin-wire former are known in which a sieve is formed with zonal different Siebdurchlässigkeit.

The aim of the invention is to provide a machine and a method of the type mentioned, with which the structure and structure, ie the arrangement of the fibers of a tissue web, especially at high machine speeds can be designed so that the water absorption capacity, the water retention capacity, the water absorption rate and the bulk volume are increased or improved as economically as possible.

This object is achieved by the feature of the characterizing part of claim 1.

Due to the combination of features of claim 1 is achieved that arise during the dewatering process in the sheet forming zone areas large dewatering rate and areas of low drainage speed. This creates a tissue web with zonally different proportions of fiber, which increases the water absorption of the web and this is faster. This affects the tissue web not only on the leaf surface, but over the entire sheet volume, which significantly improves the quality parameters.

In conventional press systems, the zones of high zonal volume are highly compressed because such systems create pressure levels in the press nip that are often too high to maintain the voluminous structure.

Sieves zonal different permeability are known for example from SE 427053. Thereafter, the sieves in question, for example, consist of a fabric in which provided in one or more levels longitudinal and transverse threads are interwoven according to a predetermined pattern so that systematically distributed areas of suitable size arise in which the number of crossing points equal to zero or significantly smaller than in the weave structure of the remaining fabric.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment of the machine according to the invention, at least one dewatering screen with zonal different screen permeability in the initial drainage area is provided in which the highest dewatering rates (liters / min) occur.

The advantageous effect is particularly effective at higher dewatering rates, which are correspondingly higher with increasing machine speed. Thus, it is advantageous if the dewatering is carried out at a machine speed greater than about 1300 m / min, in particular greater than about 1500 m / min and preferably greater than about 1800 m / min.

A preferred practical embodiment of the machine according to the invention comprises a former with two continuous endless dewatering belts, which converge to form a material inlet gap and then passed over a forming element such as in particular a forming roller, as outer band not coming into contact with the forming element and / or as inner band Drainage sieve with zonal different Siebdurchlässigkeit is provided.

According to an advantageous embodiment may be provided as a former, for example, a twin-wire former. In this case, a drainage sieve with zonal different sieve permeability, ie a so-called DSP sieve may be provided as outer band and / or as inner band. If only one of the two bands is formed by such a DSP screen, the other band may be a conventional tissue dewatering screen.

In an expedient alternative embodiment, a crescent former is provided as a former, whose outer band is formed by a dewatering screen with zonal different screen permeability and the inner band by a felt belt.

Die größte Ausdehnung der Fläche der Teilbereiche des Entwässerungssiebes mit zonal unterschiedlicher Siebdurchlässigkeit ist zweckmäßigerweise Az < 5 mm, vorzugsweise Az < 3 mm.The largest extent of the area of the subsections of the dewatering sieve with zonal different sieve permeability is expediently Az <5 mm, preferably Az <3 mm.

It is also advantageous if the dewatering screen of zonal different Siebdurchlässigkeit is not needled with felt-like fibers, but from a weft and warp formed fabric, i. consists only of weft and warp threads.

The zones of different Siebdurchlässigkeit a respective dewatering belt are advantageously generated by the use of weaving threads of different diameters and / or different weave pattern.

Advantageously, the dewatering screen with zonal different screen permeability is used in a range in which the dry content of the tissue web is less than about 20% and in particular less than about 12%, and preferably in the initial sheet forming area at a dry content of less than about 6%.

Since fibers can penetrate into the volume of the screen due to the different permeability and can settle there, the drainage sieve zonal different Siebdurchlässigkeit is preferably associated with a conditioning device such as in particular a sieve cleaning device. In this case, for example, spray tubes can be provided with distributed over the machine width nozzles. However, it is also possible, for example, to use a "Duocleaner" from Voith Sulzer with rotating high-pressure nozzles and integrated extraction or a "Jet Cleaner" from Voith Sulzer.

Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ergibt sich aus den Merkmalen des Anspruchs 9.The method according to the invention results from the features of claim 9.

Advantageous embodiments of the method according to the invention are specified in the subclaims.

As sieves zonal different permeability, for example, sieves of the type in question, as described in the not previously published EP-A-1109970. Thereafter, the screens in question may in particular consist of a woven fabric in which threads in one or more planes extending in a first direction are interwoven with threads extending in a second direction to form a grid comprising a plurality of systematically distributed portions predetermined system configuration separates and determines accordingly, the systematically distributed areas each comprise at least three in one and at least three extending in the other direction threads. The threads may in particular be weft threads and warp threads.
