Abstract

Eine Maschine (10) zur Herstellung einer Faserstoffbahn (12) wie insbesondere einer Tissue- oder Hygienepapierbahn umfaßt wenigstens eine einen Trockenzylinder (32) und eine Schuhpreßeinheit (34) umfassende Schuhpresse (30) zur Bildung eines in Bahnlaufrichtung verlängerten Preßspaltes (24). Dabei ist die Faserstoffbahn (12) zusammen mit einem wasserdurchlässigen endlosen Trägerband (16) durch den verlängerten Preßspalt (24) geführt und das Trägerband (16) in Bahnlaufrichtung vor der Schuhpresse (30) über wenigstens eine besaugte Einrichtung (26) geführt. Der besaugten Einrichtung (26) ist eine unter Überdruck stehende Haube (28) zugeordnet, um die Unterdruckwirkung der besaugten Einrichtung zu unterstützen.
