In den Fig. 1 und 2 ist eine Vorrichtung 1 zur Vereinzelung von gestapelten Druckprodukten 2 und zur Beschickung einer Verarbeitungsstrecke 3 mit den Druckprodukten 2 veranschaulicht. Bei den Druckprodukten 2 handelt es sich um gefalzte Druckbogen oder ausnahmsweise ungefalzte bzw. plane, bedruckte Bogen, die von einem Stapel an eine Verarbeitungsstrecke 3 zur Herstellung von Büchern, Broschuren, Zeitschriften oder dgl. Druckerzeugnissen überführt werden, wobei insbesondere gefalzte Druckprodukte von der Erfindung betroffen, die ungefalzten jedoch von der Verarbeitung mit der erfindungsgemässen Vorrichtung 1 nicht ausgeschlossen sind.
Bekanntlich bedarf es bei der Vereinzelung der Druckprodukte 2 an der Unterseite eines Stapels der besonderen Anordnung der Druckprodukte 2 hinsichtlich der eingesetzten Trennmittel 4, welche jeweils das unterste Druckprodukt 2 eines Stapels seitlich am vorderen Ende bzw. im Bereich einer Ecke erfassen und an ein in Richtung F drehendes Förderogan 5 übergeben.
Um ein gefalztes Druckprodukt 2 ohne bedeutende Veränderung seines kompakten Zustandes, beispielsweise unter den einzelnen Blättern, an die Verarbeitungsstrecke 3 überführen zu können, wird es erfindungsgemäss unmittelbar neben dem durch das Trennmittel 4 vom Stapel abgehobenen, in Fördererrichtung seitlichen, geschlossenen (letzten) Falz von einer Greifvorrichtung 6 einer an dem Förderorgan 5 eines Anlegers 7 vorgesehenen Greiferanordnung 8 zur Stapelentnahme erfasst. Durch den auf das Druckprodukt 2 eine Stabilität verbreitenden geschlossenen Falz 9 vermag die Greifvorrichtung 6 ohne zusätzliche Hilfe das Druckprodukt 2 zu erfassen und nur an einer Seite des trommelfömigen Förderorgan 5 festzuklemmen. Die Greiferanordnung 8 kann übrigens aus einem oder mehreren am Umfang 1 des Förderorgans 5 verteilten Greifvorrichtungen 6 bestehen. Die Greifvorrichtungen 6 weisen jeweils einen oder zwei Greifarme 10 auf, die an einer Greiferwelle 11 befestigt und durch diese in eine Offen- oder Schliessstellung gemäss Fig. 1 verschwenkbar sind. Zu diesem Zweck ist beispielsweise eine gestellfest angeordnete Steuerbahn 12 vorgesehen, an welcher Rollen 13 eines mit einer Steuerwelle 15 verbundenen Steuerhebels 14 umlaufen. Die Oeffnungs- und Schliessbewegung der Greiferarme 10 erfolgt durch ein auf der Steuerwelle 15 befestigten, mit einem an der Greiferwelle 11 festsitzenden Zahnrad 16 kämmenden Zahnsegment 17. Solche und ähnliche Steuermechanismen sind bekannt.
Das Trennmittel 4 wird durch eine mit einer Vakuumquelle verbundene Ansaugvorrichtung gebildet, die an einem Schwenkarm 18 einen oder zwei (bekannte) Saugköpfe 19 aufweist, die wahlweise einzeln oder gemeinsam zuschaltbar sind. Fig. 1 zeigt auch die Stellung des Trennmittels 4 zum Erfassungszeitpunkt eines Druckproduktes 2 an der Unterseite des Stapels, von dem das unterste Druckprodukt 2 jeweils durch eine Öffnung der Bodenplatte 21 des Magazins 20 erreichbar ist.
Das abgestimmte Zusammenwirken von Trennmittel 4, Förderorgan 5 mit Greiferanordnung 8 und Verarbeitungsstrecke 3 ist bekannt und danach auch bei der vorliegenden Vorrichtung 1 beherrschbar.
Die Druckprodukte 2 befinden sich im dargestellten Beispiel in einem oberhalb des Förderorgans 5 angeordneten Magazin 20, in welchem die Druckprodukte 2 übereinander gestapelt und die geschlossenen Falze 9 gemäss Fig. 2 auf der rechten Seite, dem Trennmittel 4 resp. der Greifvorrichtung 6 zugeordnet sind. Selbstverständlich gestattet die vorliegende Erfindung eine Anordnung der Falze 9 sowie Trennmittel 4 und Greifvorrichtung 6 auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Magazines 20. Auch eine Anordnungsweise des Stapels und dessen Verarbeitung mit stehenden Druckprodukten 2, wie in der EP - A1 - 0 824 084 veranschaulicht, ist durch die vorliegende Erfindung möglich.
Zur Meidung eines selbsttätigen Abkippens der untersten Druckprodukte 2 in der Bodenöffnung ist eine an sich bekannte Rückhaltevorrichtung 22 vorgesehen, die im Näherungsbereich von Trennmittel 4 und Greifvorrichtung 6 stützend auf den den Magazinboden 21 hinausragenden Stapel einwirkt. Diese Rückhaltevorrichtung 22 ist durch eine Klemme 27 mit einer parallel zur Drehachse 23 des Förderorgans 5 an dem Gestell 24 des Anlegers 7 schwenkbar gelagerten Welle 25 verbunden und weist eine Stützfläche 26 auf, die in Betriebsstellung etwa bündig zum Magazinboden 21 verläuft (siehe Fig. 1). Für das Erfassen eines untersten Druckproduktes 2 durch das Trennmittel 4 verlässt die Rückhaltevorrichtung 22 ihre Stützposition durch eine Schwenkbewegung, wie in Fig. 1 strichpunktiert vermerkt, und schwenkt zurück, sobald das vom Trennmittel 4 erfasste Druckprodukt 2 aus dem Schwenkbereich der Rückhaltevorrichtung 22 gebracht ist. Die Rückhaltevorrichtung 22 besitzt eine gegen die Umlaufbahn der Druckprodukte 2 an dem Förderorgan 5 erhaben vorstehende Form, die sich beim Herausziehen des untersten Druckproduktes 2 als eine auf dieses gerichtete Gleitführung 26 erweist.
In Fig. 2 ist zu erkennen, dass die Rückhaltevorrichtung 22 den Wirkbereich der einen Greifvorrichtung 6 der Greiferanordnung 8 seitlich wenigstens teilweise übergreift, und dass eine weitere Greifvorrichtung 6 -benachbart zur anderen- vorgesehen ist, die die Klemwirkung auf ein Druckprodukt 2 verbessert und dadurch die Lageeinhaltung eines Druckproduktes 2 am Förderorgan 5 begünstigt. Im übrigen zeigt Fig. 1 in strichpunktierten Linien die Stellung der Greifvorrichtung 6 in der Ausserbetriebslage.
Die Beschickung eines Sammelkanals 28 als Verarbeitungsstrecke 3 einer Zusammentragmaschine erfolgt unmittelbar, d.h. die über dem Sammelkanal 28 angeordneten Anleger 7 überführen die Druckprodukte 2 vom Magazin 20 in den Sammelkanal 28 ohne eine Richtungsänderung. Das Förderorgan 5 transportiert das Druckprodukt 2 nach der Uebernahme vom Trennmittel 4 durch die Greiferanordnung 8, bestehend aus einer oder mehreren am Umfang des Förderorgans 5 verteilten Greifvorrichtungen 6 bzw. Doppelgreifvorrichtungen, über eine aus umlaufenden Transportbändern 29, 30 gebildete Förderanordnung 36 in den Sammelkanal 28. Hierzu verlaufen die Transportbänder 29, 30 nach der Uebernahme eines Druckproduktes 2 durch die Greifvorrichtung 6 etwa 90° am Umfang des Förderogans 5 aneinander anliegend, einen Förderspalt zum Transport der Druckprodukte 2 bildend, mit einem schräg nach unten gerichteten, etwa gleichsinnig zu der Förderrichtung S des Sammelkanals 28 ausgerichteten und in den Sammelkanal 28 mündenden Förderendabschnitt 31. Der Sammelkanal 28 weist eine seitlich ansteigende Auflagefläche 41 auf, sodass die zugeführten Druckprodukte 2 jeweils mit ihrem geschlossenen Falz 19 voraus an eine seitliche Kanalwand 42 rutschen. Im Sammelkanal 28, wo die Druckprodukte 2 übereinander zu liegen kommen, werden sie jeweils der rückwärtigen Kante von an einem umlaufenden Zugorgan 32 befestigten Mitnehmer 33 übernommen und weitertransportiert.

Das Spannen der Transportbänder 29, 30 erfolgt jeweils an dem dem förderwirksamen Trum gegenüberliegenden Trum durch eine hebelartig wirkende Spannvorrichtung 40.

The separating means 4 is formed by a suction device connected to a vacuum source, which has one or two (known) suction heads 19 on a swivel arm 18, which can be switched on individually or together. 1 also shows the position of the separating means 4 at the time of detection of a printed product 2 on the underside of the stack, from which the lowermost printed product 2 can be reached through an opening in the base plate 21 of the magazine 20.

In the example shown, the printed products 2 are located in a magazine 20 arranged above the conveying member 5, in which the printed products 2 are stacked one on top of the other and the closed folds 9 according to FIG. are assigned to the gripping device 6. Of course, the present invention allows the folds 9 as well as the separating means 4 and the gripping device 6 to be arranged on the opposite side of the magazine 20. To avoid automatic tipping of the lowermost printed products 2 in the bottom opening, a retaining device 22 known per se is provided, which acts in a supporting manner on the stack protruding from the magazine bottom 21 in the vicinity of the separating means 4 and the gripping device 6. This retaining device 22 is connected by a clamp 27 to a shaft 25 which is pivotably mounted on the frame 24 of the feeder 7 parallel to the axis of rotation 23 of the conveying member 5 and has a support surface 26 which, in the operating position, runs approximately flush with the magazine bottom 21 (see FIG. 1 ).
