Abstract

The device has a plug housing (2) with contact elements (5) matching a counter plug housing (3) carrying the cable (4). The contact elements contact the cable conducting tracks when the housings are joined. Arrangements are provided for positional and extraction-proof fixing of the cable in the counter plug housing with a latching pawl device (23) with a pre-mounting position enabling unhindered insertion of the cable into the housing.
