Definitions
- the invention relates to a paper machine clothing, in particular a press felt, with a carrier and with threads, the profiled monofilament with one of a kind formed circular cross-section deviating profile are.
- Paper machine clothing is circulating in paper machines Ribbons of great length and breadth, of training and guiding the paper web through the paper machine serve. Its structure depends heavily on which part the paper machine they are used. In the first both lots of a paper machine, the Blattönspartie and the press section, the paper machine clothing must be designed so that the paper web as possible is well drained, so that the energy expenditure for the thermal drying in the subsequent drying section remains low. The drainage happens here through the papermachine clothing, i. you must be constructed so that the coming of the paper web Liquid as efficiently as possible to the other side of the Paper machine clothing is transported.
- the threads which make up textile carriers, have in usually a circular cross-section. For certain Purpose also in cross section rectangular, flat threads used. In addition, there are a number of suggestions for other cross-sectional shapes of threads for the Carriers have been made of paper machine clothing, some of which are strongly profiled (DE-A-40 31 608, US-A-5,361,808; DE-A-195 45 386; US-A-5,591,525; EP-A-1 067 239; DE-A-199 00 989). The profiling of these threads happens for different reasons. all Desiden common is that the profile stretched longitudinally is, that extends in the axis of the respective thread.
- the invention is based on the object, a paper machine clothing of the type mentioned above, that their drainage properties still further be improved.
- helically profiled Monofilament will be the open volume within the Paper machine clothing increases, and it results better drainage properties. This effect can by the number, training and arrangement of these monofilaments varied to a considerable extent and thus to the respective Requirements are adjusted. It happens not on whether the invention trained Monofilament inside the paper machine clothing under Torsion voltage, so they only after their production twisted and in this state in the paper machine clothing have been introduced or whether the helical profiling already during production, for example, in the extrusion by appropriate Nozzle forms or during subsequent stretching, imprinted has been and therefore the monofilament tensionless in the paper machine clothing present.
- the cross sections of the helical profiled monofilaments have great freedom. So they can an oval, trilobal, polygonal, square, rectangular, clover-shaped and / or have triangular cross section, with the cross sections not even need to be regular or symmetrical. It is also possible to use monofilaments of different cross sections be present according to the requirements Influence on the pore volume and thus on the drainage properties to take. A particularly high one Pore volume results when profiled helically Monofilaments are present whose cross section over the Circumference distributed having several indentations. Vice versa but can also be distributed over the circumference bulges provided or both combined together in the way be that in and bulges over the circumference alternate. It can also be helical extending sharp or rounded edges provided his.
- helically profiled monofilaments can also influence the pore volume and thus the Drainage be taken.
- helical profiled monofilament a twist with at least a thread made of a material, in particular polyvinyl alcohol, form, in a solvent, preferably Water is soluble, in which the helically profiled Monofilament and the spun yarn are not soluble are.
- This soluble thread can after insertion into the paper machine clothing by a treatment with be dissolved out of the solvent, creating an additional free volume in the paper machine clothing is formed.
- Such a procedure in order Production of pore volume is known in principle (See US-A-4,482,601, EP-B-0 466 990, EP-B-0 413 869, EP-A-0 565,206; WO 98/07925).
- the threads should from the soluble material so with the helical profiled monofilaments be that they are spacers form between adjacent threads.
- the helically profiled monofilaments do not have to Be parts of the carrier of the paper machine clothing, but can also be outside the carrier for example as filler threads or the like run. Conveniently, but at the same time they form parts of the carrier, the carrier also being made entirely of such monofilaments can exist.
- the wearer can use any type of thread structure be, for example, a woven, knitted fabric, scrim and / or Yarn sheet. As a carrier and network carrier can be provided then, with the helically profiled monofilaments combined.
- the carrier can be single-layered or multi-layered or even of several, Carrier webs not connected to one another by threads consist of either the same or are also different.
- the carrier of a Tissue, knitted fabric and / or a network may be formed and additionally comprise a scrim or a group of threads.
- the carrier is embedded in a fiber matrix by for example, between at least two fiber layers is included, which are needled together.
- What the material of helically profiled monofilaments and optionally the spun yarns can the usual materials for paper machine clothing be used. These are in particular thermoplastic Polymers. Examples are polypropylene, polyamide 4.6, polyamide 6, polyamide 6.6, polyamide 6.10, polyamide 6.12, polyamide 11, polyamide 12, PET, PTT, PBT, PPS, PEK or PEEK. Also elastomeric polyesters can be used become.
- the monofilament 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2 has a rotationally symmetrical cross section with a core 2 and a total of six radially outwardly projecting webs - exemplified by 3 -, at their ends are widened spherically.
- the webs 3 close between deep indentations - exemplified by 4, which form grooves in the monofilament 1 over the length.
- FIGS. 3 to 6 show other embodiments of FIG monofilaments 5, 6, 7, 8 according to the invention. you are also rotationally symmetric and have a different Number of radially extending webs - by way of example labeled 9, 10, 11, 12.
- FIG. 7 discloses a monofilament 13 according to the invention, which is only mirror-symmetrical. It has two opposite concavities 14, 15 on, the two sides leak in thickening 16, 17 different shape.
- Figure 8 is a helically profiled monofilament 18, which is rotationally symmetrical and distributed over the circumference four bulges 19, 20, 21, 22, wherein the bulges 19, 20, 21, 22 connected via convex areas. Also with this Profile arise groove-shaped depressions.
- Figures 9 to 11 are further helically profiled Monofilaments 23, 24, 25 shown in cross-section, with a regular pentagon (Figure 9), one Square ( Figure 10) and a triangle ( Figure 11). Also when connecting the corners or edges of these monofilaments 23, 24, 25 form straight lines, resulting from the helical Profile pore volumes and drainage channels.
