Abstract

The present invention is related to a cleansing tissue, comprising a thermobonded non-woven fabric formed from a mixture of fibers containing greater than 75% of thermoplastic fibers, the non-woven fabric having a plurality of cells, each cell having a first density and a first volume, the cells being disposed adjacent to one another defining a region between adjacent cells, the region having a second density and a second volume, the second density being higher than the first density, and the second volume being less than the first volume.
The fabric becomes thicker and its softness is increased because the cells have a low density large sized regions.
