Abstract

The slabs (2,3) have profiled edges (4,5) which lock together. The first edge has a tongue (6) which projects into a groove (20) in the second profile. The top part of the first edge (9) projects further forward than the bottom part (8). The bottom part (21) of the second edge projects further forward than the top part (22). The bottom surface (7) of the tongue on the first edge is convex and matches a concave portion (23) in the groove. The top surface of the tongue is horizontal at the root, then slopes gently downwards. The bottom of the groove is of rectangular cross-section.

Description

The invention relates to a method for laying and locking of panels, in particular via a fastening system from form-fitting provided on the narrow sides of the panels Retaining profiles that extend over the length of the narrow sides extend and with joint projections or complementary Pan recesses are provided.

From the German utility model G 79 28 703 U1 is a generic Procedure for laying and locking Floor panels or panels with form-fitting Retaining profiles known. Unfortunately, but must be to lay a second row of plates, the is to be attached to an installed first row of panels, initially can be completely pre-assembled. The utility model G 79 28 703 U1 shows the technical teaching that initially a first row of panels is laid out horizontally and then starting in the second row with a second plate, the in an inclined position in a groove formation of the first row of plates is to be inserted. The second plate must be in this Be held so that a third plate on the second plate can be connected. The same applies the following plates, connected to each other in the second row Need to become. Only when all plates of the second Row of plates have been pre-assembled in an inclined position the entire second row of panels in the horizontal position be pivoted, being with the first row of panels locked. It is unfavorable for this plate construction required laying procedures that multiple people are needed to make all the plates of a second row of plates for pre-assembly to hold in an oblique position and the then lower the second row of panels together into the installation level.

Another method of laying and locking panels is known from EP 0 855 482 A2. Here are Panels to be laid in the second row, too attached in an inclined position to the panels of a first row. Adjacent panels of the second row are initially in a small lateral distance from each other with the panels locked the first row. The panels are in this state the second row along the first row. By pushing two panels of the second row together are holding profiles that are on the short narrow sides of the panels are provided, pressed into each other. Unfortunately, the holding profiles are expanded and stretched very much. The holding profiles experience one already during assembly Pre-damage that affects the durability of the support profiles. For multiple installation, the after the Teaching of EP 0 855 482 A2 constructed and laid holding profiles Not. Holding profiles formed from an HDF or MDF material for example, due to the high degree of deformation, which the holding profiles in the laying process according to Subject to EP 0 855 482 A2, soft. Internal cracks and displacements are in the fiber structure of the HDF or MDF material responsible for this.

The invention is therefore based on the object, the known Simplify laying and locking procedures and to improve the durability of the fastening system.

According to the invention, the object is achieved with a method for laying and locking square tabular Panels, especially floor panels, on opposite long narrow sides and on opposite short ones Narrow sides extending over the length of the narrow sides Have holding profiles, of which the opposite holding profiles essentially complementary to each other first row of panels on the short ones Narrow sides are connected, either by using the complementary Retaining profiles of an installed and a new panel in Longitudinally pushed together the short narrow sides or by holding the support profile of a new panel first by inclination relative to the installed panel with the complementary holding profile of the installed panel and subsequently by swiveling into the plane of the laid Panels with this both in the direction perpendicular to the nested narrow sides as well as in the direction perpendicular is locked to the level of the installed panels, as next a new panel is laid in the second row by the holding profile of its long narrow side first Inclination relative to the long narrow side of a panel the first row with its retaining profile and subsequently pivoted into the level of the installed panels is, and being a new panel, the short narrow side with the short narrow side of the panel laid in the second row and its long narrow side with the long narrow side one panels installed in the first row must be locked, initially on its short narrow side with the panel of the second That new panel is then locked along the row long narrow side of a panel laid in the first row is swung up from the level of the installed panels, which was previously on the short narrow side with the new panel interlocked panel of the second row at least at this end together with the new panel up to an inclined position is pivoted upwards in which the long holding profile of the new panel with the complementary holding profile of the in the first row of installed panels, and after the new sloping panel and the on a short narrow side in the second row with the new one Panel interlocked panel in the level of the installed panels be pivoted.

According to the new procedure can be installed in the second row Panels can be installed by a single person. A new Panel can be used with panels of a first row as well also with an already installed second row panel lock. For this it is not necessary to use the short narrow sides two panels lying in one plane with expansion and deformation of the holding profiles to lock.

The last panel laid in the second row can be on his free short narrow side can be gripped and around the locked long narrow side as a pivot axis in one Swivel the incline upwards. The panel becomes a little twisted around its longitudinal axis. This means that the free short narrow side of the panel is in an inclined position and the inclination to the locked short narrow side of the panel decreases. Depending on the rigidity of the panels can become a more or less strong torsion and therefore a result in more or less decreasing inclination. The In the case of stiffer panels, inclination can be caused by several Continue from the previous panels in the second row.

When laying, it is of course not necessary that the first row must be completely laid before laying the second row is started. It's laying just make sure that the number of items the first row is bigger than the second row and so further.

The process works particularly well with thin and light perform twistable panels. The inclination of one in second row of thin panels arranged by strong Torsion from a very short distance. The one on the installation level located und twisted rest of a panel respectively a row of panels, is securely locked. Only with the short one slanted piece of the last panel of the second row can the holding profiles of the long narrow sides during the Laying work disengaged. But you can together with the new one attached to the short narrow side Slightly reassemble the panel.

Rectangular tabular ones are particularly flexible and durable Panels that overlap on parallel narrow sides complementary holding profiles extending the length of the narrow sides have, wherein a holding profile as a joint projection with a convex curvature and the complementary holding profile is provided with a concave curvature as a pan recess, whereby each hinge projection of a new panel is less than Widening the pan recess of a laid panel in these inserted and finally the new panel by swiveling is locked in the level of the installed panel. The necessary for deformation and locking of the holding profiles is much lower than with holding profiles that compressed perpendicular to their narrow sides in the installation plane Need to become. The joint projection is advantageous no further from the narrow side than the thickness of the Panel. In this way, another advantage is that the holding profile with very little waste on the narrow side of a panel can be milled.

The holding profiles also referred to as form-fitting profiles the long narrow sides of two panels form in the laid Condition of two panels with a joint, whereby the Upper side of the joint projection facing away from the surface Panels preferably have an oblique material removal, which extends to the free end of the joint projection, and wherein the thickness of the hinge projection is due to the material removal is increasingly reduced towards the free end, and through the removal of material there is freedom of movement for the joint is created.

The construction allows an articulated movement of two interconnected panels. In particular, two interconnected panels at the junction be buckled at the top. For example, there is a panel a subsurface with an elevation so that a narrow side of the panel is pressed onto the surface under load and the opposite narrow side seesaws upwards a second attached to the upward rocking narrow side Panel with moved up. The bending forces that wobble damage the narrow cross-sections of the interlocking profiles However not. Instead, a joint movement takes place. A floor laid with the proposed fastening system shows irregular rough or wavy surfaces adjusted compliance. The fastening system is therefore particularly suitable for renovation panels irregular floors in old buildings. It goes without saying it also for laying panels on a soft Intermediate layer more suitable than the known fastening system.

The construction is based on the principle of "adapted deformability" Bill. This principle is based on the knowledge that very stiff and therefore supposedly stable connection points cause high notch stresses and therefore easily fail. To avoid this, components should be designed so that they are compliant to the purpose or "adapted deformability" and in this way Notch stresses can be reduced.

In addition, the positive locking profiles are designed so that a load on the top of the floor panels in the installed Condition of the top wall of the pan recess one first panel in the hinge projection of the second panel and from the hinge projection of the second panel to the underside Wall of the first panel is transferred. The walls of the Pan recesses of the first panel have been installed Contact with the top and bottom of the joint projection of the second panel. The top wall of the pan recess however, has only a short range on the free End of the top wall of the pan recess contact with the Joint projection of the second panel. Allowed this way the construction with little elastic deformation of the Walls of the pan recess a joint movement between the Panel with the pan recess and the panel with the joint projection. In this way, the rigidity of the connection best adapted to an irregular surface, which inevitably to a kinking movement between fastened together Panels.

Another advantage is seen in the fact that the invention Laying and locking procedures better for multiple laying is more suitable than the known methods, because the panels are repeated laying and after long use no pre-damage on an irregular surface of the form-fitting profiles. The positive locking profiles are dimensionally stable and durable. They can be used much longer and are relocated more often during their life cycle.

The convex curvature of the joint projection advantageously forms and the concave curvature of the pan recess essentially one circle segment each, with the center of the circle in the installed state the circular sections on the top of the joint projection or below the top of the hinge projection is arranged. In the latter case, the center of the circle lies within the cross section of the joint projection.

This simple construction results in a joint, the convex curvature of the joint projection similar to one Joint ball and the concave curvature of the socket recess are designed similar to a socket, with the difference of course only one for a socket joint plane rotation but no spherical rotation possible is.

In a cheap version, the most prominent one Point of the convex curvature of the joint projection of a panel arranged so that it is approximately below the top edge of the Panels. This results in a ratio to Overall thickness of the panel is a relatively strong cross section for the Joint projection. The concave curvature of the pan recess also offers a sufficiently large undercut for the convex curvature of the joint projection, so that this by in the tensile forces acting on the installation level can hardly be moved apart are.

The joint properties of two interconnected panels can be further improved if the one facing the underground Wall of the pan recess of a panel on hers Has an inclined material removal on the inside extends to the free end of the wall and the wall thickness this wall is increasingly thinner towards the free end. It is due to the removal of material when two panels are installed a freedom of movement for the joint is created. With this improvement, the amount of elastic deformation the walls of the pan recess during the deflection the installed panels further reduced upwards.

It is also useful if the pan recess of a panel for connection to the joint projection of another Panels by resilient deformation of their lower Wall is expandable and that occurs during the joining resilient deformation of the bottom wall in the finished connected state of two panels is withdrawn again. The positive locking profiles are only used for the joining process and deformed and subject to elastic movement during a joint, if they are not loaded, no elastic Strain.

The ability to have two panels on their short narrow sides connecting flexibly comes the resilience of a floor covering benefit.

The form-fitting profiles are preferably in one piece on the narrow sides molded on the panels. The panels can be very easy and with little waste.

The installation method is particularly suitable when the panels essentially from an MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard), HDF (High Density Fiberboard) or a chipboard material consist. These materials are easy to edit and received, for example by machining, a adequate surface quality. These materials also exhibit a high dimensional stability of the milled profiles.

According to the drawing, this is for the procedure for laying and Locking of rectangular panels required fastening system 1 using the example of elongated rectangular panels 2 and 3, a section of which is shown in FIG. 1 is. The fastening system 1 has on the narrow sides of the panels arranged holding profiles that are complementary Form-fitting profiles 4 and 5 are formed. The opposite Form-fitting profiles of a panel are in each case complementary. This way, everyone can already installed panel 2 another panel 3 can be attached.

The positive locking profiles 4 and 5 are based on the prior art of the German utility model G 79 28 703 Ul. In particular on the form-fitting profiles of the embodiment that in Figures 14, 15 and 16 and in the associated description G 79 28 703 U1 is disclosed.

The form-fitting profiles according to the invention are developed in such a way that they have an articulated and compliant connection from Enable panels.

One of the positive locking profiles 4 of the present invention is with a hinge projection 6 protruding from the narrow side Mistake. The underside of the hinge projection 6, which was relocated Condition of the document facing is for the purpose the articulated connection has a cross-section with a convex Arch 7 on. The convex curvature 7 is in the complementary Positive locking profile 5 rotatably. In the illustrated embodiment the convex curvature 7 is circular educated. The one arranged below the joint projection 6 Part 8 of the narrow side of the panel 3, which was installed in the The condition of the document is facing the free one End of the hinge projection 6 further back than that above the Joint projection 6 arranged part 9 of the narrow side. By doing The embodiment shown occurs below the joint projection 6 arranged part 8 of the narrow side about twice as far back from the free end of the hinge projection 6 as the part 9 arranged above the joint projection 6 Narrow side. This is because the circular section the convex curvature 7 is relatively wide. This makes the most protruding point the convex Curvature 7 of the joint projection 6 arranged so that it is is located approximately below the upper edge 10 of the panel 3.

The part 9 which is arranged above the joint projection 6 Narrow side occurs at the top of the panel 3 from the Narrow side emerges and forms a joint joint surface 9a. Between this joint joint surface 9a and the joint projection 6 of the Panel 3, part 9 of the narrow side is reset. This ensures that part 9 of the narrow side is always a closed top joint with the complementary narrow side another panel 2 forms.

The opposite of the convex curvature 7 of the joint projection 6 Top of the hinge projection 6 has a short straight section 11, which also in the installed state is arranged parallel to the underground U. From this short Section 11 toward the free end faces the top of the hinge projection 6 an inclined material removal 12, the extends to the free end of the joint projection 6.

The form-fitting profile complementary to the form-fitting profile 4 discussed 5 of a narrow side has a pan recess 20 on. This is essentially laid from a lower one Condition of the underground U facing wall 21 and one upper wall 22 limited. On the inside of the pan recess 20 is the lower wall 21 with a concave curvature 23 provided. This has the function of a bearing shell. The concave curvature 23 is also in the form of a circular section educated. So that the relatively wide concave curvature 23 the lower wall 21 of the pan recess 20 has space, the lower wall 21 is further from the narrow side of the panel 2 emerges as the upper wall 22. The concave curvature 23 forms an undercut at the free end of the lower wall 21. When installed, two panels 2 and 3 this undercut from the joint projection 6 of the assigned positive locking profile 4 of the adjacent panel 3 engaged behind. The degree of engagement, the difference between the thickest part of the free end of the bottom wall and the thickness of the bottom wall at the lowest point of the concave curvature 23 is tuned to be a good compromise between flexible flexibility of two panels 2 and 3 and a good hold against pulling the Form-locking profiles 4 and 5 is given in the installation level.

The prior art fastening system according to the figures 14, 15 and 16 of the utility model G 79 28 703 U1 in contrast, a significantly larger degree of undercut on. This results in extremely stiff joints, caused by stress on an irregular Underground U cause high notch tensions.

The inside of the top wall 22 of the pan recess 20 of the Panel 2 is in the installed state according to the embodiment arranged parallel to the underground U.

On the lower wall 21 facing the base U of the pan recess 20 of the panel 2 has the inside of the wall 21 an oblique material removal 24, which extends up to Free end of the lower wall 21 extends. This will make the wall thickness this wall increasingly thinner towards the free end. The Material removal 24 closes according to the exemplary embodiment at one end of the concave curvature 23.

The hinge projection 6 of the panel 3 and the socket recess 20 of the panel 2 form, as can be seen in FIG. 2, a common one Joint G. The material removal discussed above 12 on the top of the hinge projection 6 of the panel 3 and the material removal 24 of the lower wall 21 of the pan recess 20 of the panel 2 create the in the installed state Panels 2 and 3 freedom of movement 13 and 25, respectively allow the joint G to rotate in a small range of angles.

Außerdem liegt die konvexe Wölbung 7 des Gelenkvorsprungs 6 an der konkaven Wölbung 23 der unteren Wand 21 der Pfannenaussparung 20 des Paneels 2 an.In the installed state, the short straight section 11 is the Top of the hinge projection 6 of the panel 3 with the inside the top wall 22 of the pan recess 20 of the panel 2 in contact. In addition, there is the convex curvature 7 of the joint projection 6 on the concave curvature 23 of the lower wall 21 the pan recess 20 of the panel 2.

The side joint joint surfaces 9a facing the upper side and 26 of two connected panels 2 and 3 are always unique to each other. In practice there is a simultaneous one exact installation of the convex curvature 7 of the joint projection 6 of the Panels 3 on the concave curvature 23 of the pan recess 20 panel 2 not possible. Manufacturing tolerances would do so cause either the joint faces 9a and 26 exactly abut each other or joint projection 6 / recess 20 exactly abut each other. In practice, the form-fitting profiles therefore designed so that the joint faces 9a and 26 always lie exactly against each other and joint projection 6 / recess 20 not moved far enough into each other for an exact system can be. However, since the manufacturing tolerances are of the order of magnitude of hundredths of a millimeter nestle also joint projection 6 / recess 20 almost exactly to each other on.

Panels 2 and 3 with the complementary positive locking profiles described 4 and 5 can be different fasten to each other. 3 is a panel 2 with a Pan recess 20 already moved, while a second Panel 3 with a complementary joint projection 6 in the direction of the arrow P sloping into the pan recess 20 of the first panel 2 is inserted. After that, the second Panel 3 around the common circle center K of the circular sections the convex curvature 7 of the joint projection 6 and the concave curvature 23 of the pan recess 20 rotated until the second panel 3 rests on the underground U.

Another type of joining of the panels 2 and 3 discussed is in Fig. 4 shown, after which the first panel 2 with a pan recess 20 is laid and a second panel 3 with a hinge projection 6 in the installation plane and perpendicular to the positive locking profiles 4 and 5 moved in the direction of arrow P. until the walls 21 and 22 of the pan recess 20 widen a little elastic and the convex curvature 7 of the Joint projection 6 the undercut at the front end has overcome the concave curvature 23 of the lower wall and the final laying position has been reached.

The latter type of joining is preferred for the short narrow sides of a panel if used with the same complementary ones Form-locking profiles 4 and 5 are provided, such as long narrow sides of the panels.

Panels 2 and 3 are on an irregular surface U. The first panel 2 with the form-fitting profile 5 is on it Top has been charged. This makes the narrow side of the Panels 2 with the form-fitting profile 5 have been raised. That with the positive locking profile 5 connected positive locking profile 4 of the panel 3 has also been raised. Through the joint G results there is a kink between the two panels 2 and 3. The freedom of movement 13 and 25 create space for the rotary movement of the joint. The joint formed from both panels 2 and 3 G is moved upwards a little from the installation level Service. The freedom of movement 13 is complete for the rotation has been exploited so that the top of the hinge projection 6 of the panel 3 in the area of material removal 12 on the Bears against the inside of the wall 22 of the panel 2. The liaison office is flexible in itself and forces the positive locking profiles involved 4 and 4 no unnecessary and material tiring Bending load on.

The early in form-fitting profiles according to the prior art damage caused by fracture of the joint projection or The walls of the form-fitting profiles are thus avoided.

Another advantage arises from a joint movement 5. This can be seen in the fact that the two Panels back into theirs after being relieved by their own weight Lay back installation level. A little elastic deformation the walls of the pan recess are also present in this case. This elastic deformation supports the falling back of the Panels in the installation level. There is only one very little elastic deformation because the pivot point of the joint, which by the circular section-shaped curvatures 7 and 23 is set within the cross section of the hinge projection 6 of the panel 3 is located.

The on panels 2 and 3 laid on an irregular underground are buckled down. The construction is designed that when the connection point bends out the laying level to the subfloor U is a much stronger one elastic deformation of the lower wall 21 of the pan recess 20 occurs than when bending from the installation level up. The purpose of this measure is to see that panels 2 and 3 buckled downwards after relief not back to the installation level due to their own weight can return. The stronger elastic deformation of the bottom wall 21 of the pan recess 20, however, produces a Tension the panels 2 and 3 immediately after relief moved resiliently back to the installation level.

The form-fitting profiles 4 and 5 described are present molded in one piece on the narrow sides of panels 2 and 3. This is preferably done by a so-called formatting process, in which the positive locking profiles 4 and 5 with several milling tools connected in series mill the shape of the narrow sides of panels 2 and 3. The Panels 2 and 3 of the described embodiment exist essentially of an MDF board with a thickness of 8 mm. The top of the MDF board is wear-resistant and decoratively coated. At the bottom is a so-called Counteracting layer attached, which is from the top coating caused residual stresses.

Finally, Fig. 7 shows two panels 2 and 3 laid State, wherein a fastening system 1 with a soft elastic curing filler 30 is used. The filler 30 is between all adjacent parts of the provided positively connected narrow sides. In particular the top joint 31 is closed with the filler, so that no moisture and no dirt can penetrate. In addition, this causes two panels 2 to be bent and 3 self-deforming filler 30 due to its elasticity a reset of the panels 2 and 3 in the installation level.

In Fig. 8 is a perspective view of the laying to see a floor in which the inventive method used for laying and locking panels becomes. For the simplicity of the drawing, the details of the Retaining profiles have been omitted. But these correspond to the Form-locking profiles of Figures 1 to 7 and have profiled Joint projections and complementary socket recesses on, which extend over the entire length of the narrow sides.

It is a first laid row R1 with rectangular tabular Panels 40, 41, 42 and 43 can be seen. The panels 40, 41, 42 and 43 of the first row R1 are preferably laid in such a way that there are always pan recesses on the free sides of a laid panel and new panels with the joint projections to the pan recesses of the installed panels be added.

The panels 40, 41, 42 and 43 of the first row R1 are on Their short sides have been locked together. This can either in the installation level by pushing each other sideways in the longitudinal direction of the holding profiles of the short narrow sides happen or alternatively by joining the retaining profiles together tilting a new panel relative to a displaced panel and subsequent swiveling of the new one Panels in the installation level. The laying level is in the figures 8 and 9 indicated by the dashed line V. In both Cases are the holding profiles without any significant deformation locked together. The panels are in the Installation plane locked in the vertical direction. Also are it locked in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the narrow sides.

The panels 44, 45 and are located in a second row R2 46. First, the panel 44 is through with its long side Inserting its hinge projection relative to the oblique position to the panels of the first row R1 and subsequent swiveling of the panel 44 has been locked in the installation plane.

To lay a new panel in the second row several alternative process steps are carried out of which two alternatives are described with reference to FIGS. 8 and 9 are. Another alternative is without illustration explained.

When installing a new panel 46 in the second row this both with a long side on the first row R1 as well as with a short side on the installed panel 45 be locked. First, the new panel 46 is always on locked on one short side with a laid panel 45.

8, the free end 45a is locked around the long Narrow side 45b from the installation plane by a swivel angle α pivoted upwards. Panel 45 twists in such a way that the measure of the pivot angle α from the free end 45a the locked end 45c decreases. 8 remains locked ends 45c lie in the installation level. In this Position, the new panel 46 becomes relative in an inclined position attached to the panel 45 at its free end 45a. The Panel 46 cannot initially be along the entire length of the short Side because the panel 45 is already with the Panels 41 and 42 of the first row is locked. Well now the panel 46 pivoted in the direction of arrow A until like through the dashed pivot position 46 'also under the Swivel angle α is positioned to the installation plane. In the Panning position 46 'is the panel 46 in the direction of the arrow B moved and the hinge projection of the panel 46 in the Pan recess of panels 42 and 43 of the first row R1 inserted. The short narrow side of the panel 46 all the way to the short narrow side 45a of the panel 45 postponed. Finally, panels 45 and 46 in In the direction of arrow C pivoted together into the installation level and locked with the panels of the first row R1.

Pre-damage to the holding profiles due to a high degree of deformation during installation and locking is avoided.

Schließlich werden die Paneele 45 und 46 gemeinsam in die Verlegeebene geschwenkt und mit den Paneelen der ersten Reihe R1 verriegelt.9 also sees the alternative of the laying method before that the free end 45a locked around the long Narrow side 45b from the installation plane by a swivel angle α is pivoted upwards, the panel 45 twisted and on the free end 45a by a swivel angle α to the installation plane is slanted. The locked end 45c remains in turn lie in the installation level. In contrast to Fig. 8 that Panel 46 now also under the swivel angle α to the installation level slanted and on its short side 46a in Longitudinal direction on the holding profile of the short side 45a of the Panels 45 pushed on. In this inclination, the Joint projection of the long side 46b of the panel 46 immediately in the pan recess of panels 42 and 43 of the first row R1 inserted. Finally, panels 45 and 46 become common pivoted into the installation level and with the panels of the first row R1 locked.

The alternatives for laying and locking, not shown of panels consist of panels 45 and 46 initially lock on the short narrow sides of the installation level. The alternatives described here are illustrative of Figures 8 and 9 understandable, therefore with regard to the alternative reference symbols, not shown specified.

According to one of the alternatives, the holding profiles are the short ones Narrow sides 45a and 46a of the panels 45 and 46 in the longitudinal direction pushed together while both panels 45 and 46 in remain on the installation level. Another alternative lies the panel 45 in the laying plane and becomes the panel 46 inclined to the panel 45 on its short narrow side 45a and then pivoted into the installation level.

Following the above alternative locking steps of the panels 45 and in the installation plane is the panel 46 on its long side not yet with panels 42 and 43 the first row R1 locked. To do this, the panel 46 and the panel 45 at one end 45a into that described above Inclination can be raised under the swivel angle α. Then the hinge projection of the long side 46b of the panel 46 into the pan recess of the panels 42 and 43 of the first Row R1 inserted and panels 45 and 46 finally together by swiveling into the installation level V with the panels 42 and 43 of the first row R1 locked.
