The fire-resistant coating contains non-combustible material, a fiber mat and a glass fiber mat. The fire-resistant coating contains an impregnation and whereby the impregnation contains melamine resin. An independent claim is also included for the method for manufacturing of floor panel.

Description

The invention relates to floor panel with a layer structure.

Floor panels, which are built up of layers, so-called laminate floors, are known in large numbers. They usually consist of a core of a pressure-resistant wood-based panel (HDF or MDF), a leveling layer, a layer of decor paper and an upper wear-resistant layer, which usually consists of a cured, highly resistant paint or resin. The fire resistance of these floor panels is given only insufficient.

The invention is therefore an object of the invention to provide a floor panel with increased resistance to fire.

The object is solved by the features specified in claim 1.

The fire-retardant layer according to the invention easily creates a floor panel with improved fire resistance.

Conveniently, the fire retardant layer consists of a non-combustible material, but under certain circumstances, a flame-retardant material can be used.

A preferred material for the fire retardant layer is a fiber mat, especially a fiberglass mat. The glass fiber mat has the further advantage that it increases the impact resistance of the floor panel.

If the fire-retardant layer is provided with an impregnation of a binder, the connection to adjacent layers is improved. A preferred impregnating agent is melamine resin, which is commonly used to bond the layers of floor panels together.

The fire-retardant layer is arranged in the layer structure of the floor panel as far as possible in the direction of the top, since the fire load takes place in the majority of cases from this side. A preferred arrangement of the fire-retardant layer is therefore between a decorative layer and a core.

Bevorzugt ist eine Dicke zwischen 0,01 und 3 mm.The fire retardant layer should have sufficient thickness to develop its fire retardant effect. A thickness between 0.01 and 3 mm is preferred.

The floor panel according to the invention requires only insignificant changes in the manufacturing process, since the inventively provided fire retardant layer can be easily pressed together with other layers to the floor panel.

Fig. 1 zeigt ein erfindungsgemäß ausgerüstetes Fußbodenpaneel 1. Fig. 1 shows an inventively equipped floor panel 1. The outer shape and shape of the floor panel is arbitrary, the floor panel 1 may be provided for example as a board or plate. The floor panel 1 according to the invention is formed in the illustrated embodiment as a rectangular plate which is provided on at least two opposite sides with a mechanical locking system 2. In the illustrated embodiment, the locking system 2 includes a first profile 2a and a corresponding second profile 2b, each extending along opposite longitudinal edges of the floor panel 1 and are formed so that the first profile 2a of a floor panel and the second profile 2b of an adjacent, further floor panel can be connected to each other in a suitable manner so that the floor panels 1 are locked in the floor composite both horizontally and vertically. Such mechanical Locking profiles are known in large numbers; and the invention is not limited to the specific construction of the locking profiles nor to the special construction of any connecting elements between the individual floor panels 1. Rather, the invention can be formed on the edges both in the illustrated mechanical locking systems as well as locking systems without horizontal locking, such as tongue and groove boards, as well as floor panels or - plates without any locking systems. Furthermore, the locking systems, as shown, profiles on two opposite, or on all sides of the floor panel have.

The floor panel 1 is preferably a so-called laminate and contains a layer structure 3. The layer structure 3 comprises a core 4, which preferably has a higher-strength wood-based panel, such as an HDF or an MDF panel. However, the core can also consist of other materials known for the production of floor panels. The layer structure 3 further contains a decorative layer 5. The decorative layer 5 usually consists of a layer of paper or other material having a printed or otherwise produced decor. As the decorative layer for the floor panel 1 of the present invention, any decor layer known in the art may be provided. The decorative layer 5 is preferably covered by a protective layer 6. As the protective layer 6 for the floor panel 1 of the present invention, any known protective layer for floor panels can be used, e.g. a durable paint or resin coating.

TABELLE 1 Produktmerkmale und Prüfungsverfahren Eigenschaft Bezugnahme auf Prüfungsverfahren Einheit Spezifikation (nominal) Flächengewicht ISO 536 g/m2 50 Glühverlust ISO 1887 % 22 Zugfestigkeit md ISO 1924/2 N/50 mm >190 cmd N/50 MM >160 Luftporosität bei 100 Pa l/m2/S 2000 The layer structure 3 of the floor panel 1 of the invention further comprises a fire-retardant layer 7. The fire-retardant layer 7 is made of a material which is suitable to inhibit the flaming of the fire side facing away from the panel, ie, depending on the fire, either to prevent or greatly delay , By the fire-retardant layer 7, the floor panel 1 can be classified in a higher fire protection class (eg according to DIN EN13051 -1), as would be the case with a floor panel without the layer 7 but otherwise with the same structure. The fire-retardant layer 7 preferably consists of a nonflammable material Material. The fire-retardant layer 7 can be in the form of a mat (woven or nonwoven) of fibers, such as glass fibers. The thickness of the fire-retardant layer 7 can be adapted to the specific application and / or the desired fire protection classification and / or the materials used and is preferably between 0.01 and 3 mm, particularly preferably between 0.05 to 1 mm. Particularly preferred as the fire-retardant layer 7, a glass fiber mat with the following features is used. <b> TABLE 1 </ b> Product features and test methods property Reference to examination procedure unit Specification (nominal) grammage ISO 536 g / m 2 50 loss on ignition ISO 1887 % 22 tensile strenght md ISO 1924/2 N / 50 mm > 190 cmd N / 50 MM > 160 air porosity at 100 Pa l / m 2 / s 2000

The product consists of glass fibers with a nominal length of 6 mm and a nominal diameter of 10 to 11 μm. The fiberglass mat is bound with polyvinyl alcohol.

The fire-retardant layer 7 is arranged in the layer structure 3 as far as possible, ie as close as possible to the space in which the floor panel 1 is laid, facing side of the floor panel 1. In the illustrated embodiment, the fire-retardant layer 7 is located between the decorative layer 5 and the core 4; and is separated from the room in which the floor panel 1 is to be laid, only by the cover layer 6 and the decorative layer 5, which are both relatively thin. In this way, the thick, combustible core 4 is optimally shielded against fire in the laying room.

The fire-retardant layer 7 extends over the entire width of the core 4 and terminates in each case on end sides, only the opposite end sides 4a, 4b, of the core 4 are shown, which abut in the finished floor covering on corresponding front sides of the adjacent floor panels, so that a gapless over the floor covering extending, fire-retardant layer 7 is formed.

In a modification of the described and drawn embodiment, the floor panel 1 may have a different layer structure 3, wherein, for example, further layers may be provided. For example, on the side of the core remote from the cover layer 6, a footfall sound insulation layer may be provided in the core or above the core. It is also conceivable to form the fire-retardant layer 7 as a decorative layer and / or even as a cover layer.

The material for the fire-retardant layer 7 should preferably be selected such that the fire-retardant layer requires as little or no additional manufacturing steps as possible. This is achieved, for example, by providing the fire-retardant layer 7 with an impregnation, in particular if a glass-fiber mat is used for this purpose. The impregnation can contain, for example, melamine resin, which is used in the manufacture of floor panels as impregnating agent for the decorative layer. By using the same impregnating agent for decorative and fire retardant layer, it is possible to compress the fire retardant layer 7 together with, for example, the decorative layer 5 by applying pressure and / or heat to the core 4. As a result, no additional attachment step for attaching the fire-retardant layer 7 in the layer structure 3 is required. Impregnation of the mat, particularly the fiberglass mat, with melamine or other means may further result in an increase in strength (e.g., against impressions caused by larger punctiform loads). However, it is also possible to use the fire retardant layer by other measures, e.g. by gluing, in the layer structure to attach.
