Abstract

The package has a package insert (3) for fixing elongated objects (30, 31) i.e. vial, in a position. The package insert includes a web (6), which is arranged on a bottom wall section (40). Recesses are formed in the web for partially receiving the objects. The bottom wall section is provided with predetermined tear lines (15) for predefining tear-off package units (14, 14 power i-14 power iv), in such a manner that one of the package units with one of the objects or a group of objects is separable from the package insert.

Description

The invention relates to a package with a packaging insert for the positional fixing of objects according to the preamble of claim 1. Such packaging inserts are primarily used to hold elongated objects, being used primarily in the pharmaceutical industry for packaging ampoules, vials, syringes, vials, etc . are used.

A generic similar packaging with a carton and a packaging insert inserted therein is for example from the WO 98/15461 known. The packaging insert contains webs, which are each designed as erected from a bottom plane, triangular hollow body. The packaging insert is formed from a single blank, which is adhered to the box bottom after a Aufrichtvorgang. The webs have against a web top open cutouts, in which elongated objects can be stored. The packaged goods can be easily removed from the packaging. For certain applications, however, it may be necessary to prevent the items from being removed too easily. Furthermore, the package also lacks a so-called "warranty function"; So the indication whether the packaging has remained untouched since the first filling and closing by the manufacturer. Furthermore, the package is not very suitable for group handling. Such packaging plays an increasing role. It may be important for certain applications, for example, to store different active ingredients separately in vials, but to administer them together. For example, such vial pairs may each contain an active substance and a solvent.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to avoid the disadvantages of the known and in particular to provide a package of the type mentioned above, with which an improved positional fixation of the objects can be achieved in a packaging insert and which is equipped with a guarantee function. The packaging should continue to be easy to use and in particular to allow for advantageous group-wise storage of objects.

These or other objects are achieved with a packaging having the features in claim 1.

According to the invention, a packaging has a packaging insert for the positional fixing of objects which has at least one web and recesses arranged in the web for at least partially receiving in each case an article. The web is fixed on a bottom-side section. For the sake of simplicity, the term "bottom wall section" is also used below for this bottom-side section. Furthermore, the at least one web can preferably be covered by a ceiling wall section or by a further section. Because at least the bottom wall section is provided with predetermined tear lines, tear-off packaging units can be defined. As a result, a packaging unit with an object or with a group of objects can be separated from the packaging insert in a simple manner.

Additionally or alternatively, the packaging insert may have at least one web and recesses arranged in the web for at least partially receiving in each case an article. The packaging insert may further comprise opposing and interconnected or connectable portions, between each of which an object or a group are arranged by objects. At least the two mentioned sections can each be provided with predetermined tear lines for predetermining tear-off packaging units, so that a packaging unit with an item fixed therein in terms of position or with a group of items fixed therein in position can be separated from the packaging insert.

The packaging insert may preferably be suitable for the positional fixation of objects extending in a longitudinal direction. For this purpose, the packaging insert can have sections which extend in the longitudinal direction and to which the articles extending in the longitudinal direction can be applied or rest. Depending on the embodiment, these sections may be the bottom wall section and the top wall section or the opposing side wall sections.

The at least one web can extend transversely to the longitudinal direction and preferably approximately at right angles to the longitudinal direction. For this direction of the web, the term "web direction" is used below. The webs may have a triangular, trapezoidal or rectangular profile shape in cross section. This profile may extend to form a hollow body transversely to the longitudinal direction (or just in the web direction). Of course, other embodiments of webs in cross section are conceivable. In question, for example, is a double-walled, compared to a floor level upright web, the web side walls lie on each other and can be glued together.

It can be advantageous if each section (ie, depending on the embodiment, at least the bottom wall section and the top wall section, or the two side wall sections and optionally the bottom wall section) is provided with predetermined tear lines is. Thus, individual packaging units can be separated easily from the rest of the packaging insert. Since the bottom wall portion and the top wall portion or the side wall portions are opposed to each other and connected to each other, an advantageous storage of the articles in the packaging insert is also ensured. In particular, this arrangement can also be used to ensure that an object or a group of objects is or are safely stored in separate packaging units.

In an advantageous embodiment, the sections (for example, the mentioned side wall sections) may be associated with a common blank. In this case, the sections may be connected to each other by further, by folding or folding lines of these separate sections.

Alternatively, however, the sections described above may also be formed by separate parts made of cardboard or a cardboard laminate. For example, the bottom wall section and top wall section can be designed as separate flat parts. Bottom wall portion and ceiling wall portion may be interconnected via an intermediate part, which may specify the web or webs. Adhesive can be used to fix the connection.

To specify tear-off packaging units, the at least one web can be provided with predetermined tear lines and / or cut lines. With this arrangement, the packaging units can be particularly easily separated from the packaging insert.

A web may extend in a web direction across the width of the packaging insert. Instead of a continuous web, an arrangement of webs can also be divided into individual separate webs (or web segments), which can each extend over only a part of the width of the packaging insert.

On the bottom wall portion a plurality of separate webs may be arranged in the web direction side by side and the predetermined tear lines may extend between the webs.

On the bottom-side portion or on the bottom wall portion separate webs can be arranged offset from one another, wherein the predetermined tear lines follow the displacement of the web segments. Particularly advantageously, the predetermined tear lines can be configured in the shape of a serpentine, the serpentine shape being predetermined by the offset of the web segments.

On the bottom wall portion, individual, with respect to the web direction spaced webs may be arranged. In this case, each web can be provided with one in each case open against a web top recess for receiving an object. In the intermediate space formed by the distance between two webs, another object can be received or received. In this way, the storage capacity of a package can be optimized.

In order to form groups of two or pairs of objects, the packaging insert can particularly advantageously have four webs or web segments arranged one behind the other, which are each arranged at a distance from one another, wherein two webs or web segments each serve to support an article.

An advantageous embodiment may further be obtained if the at least one web has a plurality of cutouts which are open against a web top and are predetermined by the cutouts for receiving in each case one article. In these cut-outs, for example, elongated objects can easily be stored and stored lying in it. To block the open against the web top recesses, the packaging insert may have the top of the web preferably glued ceiling wall portion as a cover. The ceiling wall portion (i.e., the cover) may be provided with predetermined tear lines for securing the separation function of the package insert.

At least one web can be a hollow body erected from a ground plane with two web side walls and a web top preferably extending parallel to the ground plane. Laterally on the web side walls arranged on the ground plane mounting sections connect, which are preferably fixed to the bottom portion and preferably glued to this. In this case, the attachment sections may be provided with predetermined tear lines and alternatively with cut lines, these lines preferably being able to extend congruently with the predetermined tear lines assigned to the bottom wall or top wall sections.

In an alternative embodiment, the packaging insert may have a profile body made of preferably a blank and created by adhesive and folding operations, which surrounds an object or a group of objects with respect to a cross section. The web can be an integral part of the profile body. For packaging elongated articles, the opposing, tearing-lined side wall portions may extend longitudinally like the articles.

It may be particularly advantageous if the profile body has a raised from a ground plane web, which is preferably triangular in cross-section, trapezoidal or rectangular. The web can thereby divide the interior of the profile body into two cavities, wherein each cavity is associated with an object in relation to the cross section. For example, in an advantageous manner, two objects per packaging unit can be combined to form a group.

The web can have recessed web side walls, wherein the recesses each extend from a ground plane starting in the direction of a web top and wherein in the recesses in each case an object is partially received or receivable. This embodiment of the packaging insert is particularly suitable for the stationary storage of elongate objects, wherein one end face of the article (for example a vial bottom) can rest on the floor level.

Further advantages may result if, for the two-sided fixation of the objects in the region of the ground plane, respectively mutually opposite recesses are arranged on the web side walls and on the side wall sections.

On the opposite side of the ground plane, bridge sections can adjoin each other on the opposite side wall sections, which are aligned with one another and which can be connected to one another by overlapping adhesive sections. For an advantageous positional fixation of the objects in the region of the side opposite the ground plane, the bridge sections can be provided with recesses for partially accommodating an object in each case.

The packaging may contain a folding box, preferably made of a blank, in which the packaging insert is inserted or used. Of course, it would also be conceivable to use the previously described packaging insert without folding box or another outer packaging as packaging.

An advantageous embodiment may result from the fact that the packaging has a folding box, preferably consisting of a blank, containing a box bottom. The box bottom can form the bottom wall portion of the packaging insert, to which the attachment portions of the webs are preferably attached and particularly preferably glued. In this arrangement, the packaging insert can be advantageously integrated in a box. Additionally or alternatively, the box bottom can be configured with predetermined tear lines such that the packaging insert can be pushed out of the folding box. Of course, the box bottom by alternative designs specify other types of separation. For example, solutions with dividing threads or tear-off strips predetermined by perforation lines for separating out the packaging insert are conceivable. Such a design of the box bottom can also be advantageous for packaging with conventional packaging inserts. For the latter case, it would therefore not necessarily be necessary to provide packaging inserts with perforation lines.

FIG. 1 shows a generally designated 1 packaging with a cuboid carton 2, the box lid is open. In the carton 2, a packaging insert 3 is used for the positional fixing of objects, of which an upper, a cover predetermining section 5 can be seen. With 30 and 31 are stored lying in the packaging insert stored items. The following as a ceiling wall section designated section 5 is provided with four, approximately serpentine designed tear lines 15, by means of which the packaging insert 3 can be divided into individual packaging units. A first packaging unit is designated 14 and an adjacent packaging unit is designated 14 '. Each packaging unit is associated in each case with two objects which are arranged one behind the other in relation to a longitudinal direction (longitudinal direction is indicated by a line A). In the present exemplary embodiment, by way of example, small vials are stored which are also known to the person skilled in the art under the name "Vial". Of the vials are in Fig. 1 each vial lid for the vial 31 and vial bottom for the vial 30 recognizable. The vial pairs are thus arranged alternately in different orientation next to each other.

Out Fig. 2 which relates to a single packaging unit separated from the packaging insert, it can be clearly seen that each packaging unit is associated with two articles. The vials extending in the longitudinal direction A are evidently arranged one behind the other. The vials are received in recesses 10, 11 predetermined cutouts in the webs 6 and 7. The webs 6 and 7 are part of a web assembly containing individual, each one packaging unit associated web segments. In the webs 6 and 7 are raised from a ground plane B, transverse to the longitudinal direction A extending hollow body, wherein the web profile of the web itself about trapezoidal and the web profile of the web 7 is approximately rectangular. The webs 6 and 7 are associated with an intermediate part which is fixedly connected to a lower portion 4. For this bottom-side section 4, the term "bottom wall section" is used below. The webs further have a bottom wall section 4 plane-parallel web top and two web side walls. Because the two webs designed similarly are in is Fig. 2 only the web 6 in detail called (web top: 16, web side walls: 17 and 18). On the web side walls 17 and 18 connect laterally mounting portions 19 and 20 which are glued to the bottom wall portion 4.

The designated section 46 also extends in the longitudinal direction and is formed congruent to the end face of the web 7. The other two sections 47 and 48 are (in Fig. 2 not shown) webs which are arranged offset to the two webs 6 and 7 in the packaging insert (but see, for example Fig. 6 ). They also run in each case congruent to the front ends of their associated webs. These bridges are the in Fig. 1 associated with 14 'designated packaging unit.

In Fig. 3 a blank for an intermediate part of the packaging insert is shown, from which the webs can be created by a Aufrichtvorgang. The blank 32 is advantageously made of cardboard or a cardboard laminate. The dot-dashed and double-dashed lines correspond to fold lines. The dashed lines represent perforation lines, wherein the perpendicular to the arrow A extending perforation lines allow a simple unfolding during Aufrichtvorgang the webs. Only the oblique perforation lines 25, 26 and 27 are designed as frangible lines. The break lines allow a separation of individual packaging units. In the cut a plurality of recesses is arranged. The recesses 10 are the web or web segment (6) and the recess 11 associated with the web or web segment (7) (see. Fig. 2 ). The further recesses 12 and 13 are associated with the offset to the previously mentioned webs or web segments. Between two adjacent web segments each have a rectangular cutout in the blank 32 is arranged. The section designated 24 forms after the Aufrichtvorgang a gap which corresponds to the in Fig. 2 would join the designated 6 web.

Fig. 4 relates to a plan view of a blank for the top wall portion 5, which is provided with serpentine tear lines 15. The (not shown) bottom wall portion is - apart from slightly larger external dimensions - designed in approximately similar.

Fig. 5 shows a blank 22 for the carton. The blank 22 has a rectangular portion 21 which forms the bottom of the box. The box bottom forms a bearing surface for the bottom wall section (4) of the packaging insert (cf. Fig. 2 ). Such cartons have been known for some time and in use, which is why a detailed explanation of this packaging part is dispensed with.

Fig. 6 relates to a package according to a second embodiment, wherein the packaging insert relative to the first Embodiment is slightly changed. In Fig. 6 For example, there is shown a packaging assembly, designated 1 ', which includes a carton 2 and a packaging insert inserted therein, but the package insert lacks the cover or ceiling wall portion. In this position (ie without cover), the objects could be stored lying in a simple manner in the corresponding receptacles in the webs of the packaging insert. In FIG. 6 are visible against bridge tops 16 open and predetermined by the respective recesses cutouts for receiving in each case an object recognizable. After the packaging insert has been filled, the cover can be placed on top and firmly connected to the packaging insert by gluing.

In Fig. 6 It can be seen that the with respect to the web direction, which is transverse to the longitudinal direction A, spaced from each other separate webs 6, 7, 8, 9 has. Fig. 7 shows a packaging insert 3 containing two plane-parallel to each other and predetermined tear lines 15 having portions, namely the bottom wall portion 4 and the top wall portion 5. The distance between the plane-parallel sections 4 and 5 is bridged by the webs 6, 7, 8 and 9. The items fixed in position in the packaging insert 2 are in Fig. 7 not shown for a better understanding of the structure.

In contrast to the preceding embodiments is in Fig. 8 a packaging with a packaging insert shown, in which each of a packaging unit 14 associated pairs of objects 30 and 31 are not arranged one behind the other, but side by side in a vertical storage. This will be in Fig. 8 illustrated by the approximately parallel longitudinal axes A ₁ and A ₂ . The vial 30 extends in the longitudinal direction A ₁ , the vial 31 extends in the longitudinal direction A ₂ . The packaging insert 3 contains five packaging units 14 to 14 ^IV , wherein the packaging unit denoted by 14 has been separated from the remaining packaging insert 14 ^I to 14 ^IV .

The packaging insert has a profile body 23, which surrounds the juxtaposed groups of objects 30 and 31. In the interior, a cross-sectionally triangular web 6 is arranged, which divides the interior of the profile body. The profile body 23 has two side wall sections 49 and 50, which lie opposite one another and which run parallel to the longitudinal directions A ₁ / A ₂ . On the indicated with B bottom plane of the bottom wall portion 40, on which the adhesive portions 19 and 20 of the profile body 23 lie flat against and are glued to these. At sections 49 and 50, each referred to as bridge sections 33, 34, which extend obliquely upward. Towards the top, the packaging insert is closed by adhesive portions which overlap each other and are glued together. In Fig. 8 an adhesive section 35 adjoining a bridge section 33 can be seen, which runs approximately plane-parallel to the ground plane B.

The web 6 has (in Fig. 8 unrecognizable) each provided with recesses web side walls, wherein the recesses each extend from the ground plane B, starting in the direction of a web top 16 and in these recesses each an article 30, 31 is partially received. For fixing the objects 30, 31 on both sides in the area of the floor plane, recesses opposite the recesses are then arranged on the side wall sections 49, 50. The recess associated with the side wall portion 50 is in Fig. 8 recognizable and designated 29. On the opposite side of the ground plane, a recess 37 in the bridge sections 33 can be seen, in which, as can be seen, the other end face of the object 30 is partially received.

In Fig. 9 is a blank 22 for the carton off Fig. 8 shown. The Figures 10 and 14 relate to a variant in which the box bottom 21 is provided with perforation lines 43 and 44. With the aid of these predetermined tear lines, a packaging insert can be pressed out of the folding box and then the packaging units are separated. The packaging insert may be glued to the box bottom, wherein the outer desired tear line 43 defines the outline for the bottom portion of the packaging insert. Theoretically, it is also conceivable that a profile insert which predetermines the packaging insert is glued directly to the box bottom 21. On a separate floor section can therefore be dispensed with.

Fig. 11 shows a blank for a profile body for a package in the manner of the third embodiment. As from the associated Fig. 13 shows, the packaging insert 3 differs by a slightly modified design of the bridge sections 35 and 36. Incidentally, the packaging inserts are designed similar. As shown in particular from the representation of the blank 32 in Fig. 11 As can be seen, cut lines 42 are provided in the region of the webs for easy separation, as a result of which the individual packaging units are simpler are detachable from the packaging insert. Only in the side wall sections 49 and 50 and in the adjacent thereto sections 19, 34 and 35 on the one hand and 20, 33 and 36 on the other hand, tear lines 15 are provided.

Fig. 12 shows a bottom wall portion 40, which has for specifying individual packaging units transverse tear lines 41.

Based Fig. 15 It can be seen that a packaging insert does not necessarily have to have a cover or a ceiling wall section. The packaging insert 3 shown here consists of only two components: a bottom wall section 4 and a part attached thereto, which forms a central web 6. The embodiment according to Fig. 15 differs from the previous embodiments in that the objects 30 are performed by recesses in the web 6. Instead of removing the items, they must be inserted through the closed recesses.

In Fig. 16 a packaging variant is shown in which the packaging insert 3 formed from only one blank rests directly on the bottom of the box and without a separate bottom wall portion and is glued to this. In other words, the bottom wall section 4 is identical to the box bottom 21. To push out the packaging insert, the box bottom 21 is provided with perforation lines 43.

Claims (17)

Packaging with a packaging insert (3) for the positional fixing of objects (30, 31), the at least one web (6, 7, 8, 9) and webs arranged in the recesses (10, 11, 12, 13) for at least partially receiving each an article (30, 31), wherein the web is fixed on a bottom-side section (4, 40), characterized in that at least the bottom-side section (4, 40) in each case with predetermined tear lines (15) for predetermining detachable packaging units (14 ) is provided, that a packaging unit (14) with an object or with a group of objects from the packaging insert (3) is separable. Packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the packaging insert next to the bottom portion (4, 40) has at least one further portion (5) or a plurality of further portions (49, 50), wherein preferably two portions are opposite each other and connected or connectable and that also the further section (5) or the further sections (49, 50) are provided with predetermined tear lines (15). Packaging according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that for predetermining the tear-off packaging units (14) and the web (6, 7, 8, 9) is provided with predetermined tear lines (42).
