Abstract
The invention concerns a selector device in the form of a manual selector with a key, badge or magnetic card, in particular for automatic closing systems, that is to say powered, which are managed by a powered and overall control unit and which comprises its own operating mechanism run by a relative circuit (14). The selector incorporates a transmitter circuit (15) configured to recognise the operating/non-operating command of said mechanism and to emit and transmit corresponding signals in radiofrequency towards an electronic control card (12) connected to or incorporated in the powered overall control unit (13), in order to control at least the partial or total opening/closing movements of the system.

SYSTEMS"
* * * *
Field of the Invention
This invention concerns a manual selector device with a key, pass, badge or magnetic card, in particular, but not exclusively, for automatic closing systems, that is to say powered, such as gates, automatic barriers, shutters, sectional doors and the like. State of the Technique
Usually, the automatic closing systems link up to motorization and general control plants and usually comprise also a control unit, that is to say an accessible manual selector with a key, badge or magnetic card, by the means of which it is possible to manualy manage the partial or total opening/closing of an access.
The installation of such a manual control device in the field of said automatic closing systems requires however electric connections at least to motorization and general control plants. This obviously involves various types of work, digging, laying and covering, cable ducting, etc., that necessarily require the intervention of workers with different jobs, plus time and cost of considerable implementation, without what is more excluding implementation errors, risks of short circuits of the cables inside the gullies caused by water, insects, dirt, etc. The documents US 6 326 754 and US 2007/229218 are part of the
state of the technique, referring to monitoring and control systems for automatic doors and the like but they do not reveal anything specific as regards to the manual control devices or selectors of such doors. Objective and Summary of the Invention This invention refers specifically instead to a control device, or manual selector with a key or pass, tag, badge or magnetic card, for automatic closing systems and it is aimed at avoiding the above drawbacks of the known technique above referred.
It is in fact one of the aims of the invention to propose a luminous signaling device for simple and easy installation of automatic closing, without the need for electric connections, nor for an external feed source, nor for control equipment, without however altering its serviceability and reliability.
This aim is reached, according to the invention, by a control device of the type and for the use stated above, incorporating in addition a transmitter circuit set up to recognize the activated/deactivated state of the operation mechanism of the selector and to emit and transmit corresponding radiofrequency signals towards a management electronic card connected to or incorporated in the general control centre of the closing system, so as to control at least the opening/closing partial or total movements of the closing system.
Advantageously, then, the control device or manual selector according to the invention also incorporate an electric feeder for its own source of electricity. The invention therefore represents an important innovation for the
use of radiofrequency also in the communication between a control centre and a peripheral protection device, the manual selector, in an ambit in which it has never been applied. Furthermore, the autonomous feed for each selector helps to eliminate at least the above, expensive and complex electrical system work plus, tank to the absence of connecting cables, the risk of short circuits.
Brief Description of the Drawings
Further details of the invention will become evident in the following description made in reference to the attached drawing, indicative and not limiting, in which the only figure shows a block diagram of the selector device set up and used acording to the invention.
Detailed Description of the Invention
In said drawing is represented a selector device, indicated generically by number 11 , in combination with an electronic control card 12 and a general control centre 13 for an automatic closing system - not shown
- having at least a powered part susceptible to movements.
The selector device 11 incorporates its own operating mechanism run by a relative circuit 14, whose configuration and operation are well known and, therefore do not require at this point a particular description. According to the invention, the selector device 11 also incorporates a transmitter circuit 15 in connection with the control mechanism circuit 12 configured and able to communicate via radio with the electronic control card 12 associated with the general control centre 13.
Furthermore, the same selector device 11 is autonomously provided with its own electric feeder 16, which can be provided with standard or
rechargeable batteries, therefore without being connected to an electric network. In the case of rechargeable batteries, they could be set up to be connected to a photovoltaic feed module (not shown) which, besides, could be incorporated in the same device. The transmitter circuit 15 will be set up to communicate with the electronic control card 12, using unidirectional radiofrequency signals according to the arrow 17. The electronic control card 12 will also be configured to elaborate the radiofrequency signals sent by the transmitter circuit 15 incorporated in the selector device 11 in order to be sent correspondingly towards the general control centre 13 so as to enable or disable the operation of the closing system.
