Abstract

The container (10) has ring enclosing walls (16) arranged on a container inner space (14) and formed with a handle hole (18). A first edge portion of the handle hole is provided with multiple elastic flexible parts. Fibers (42) are arranged at a second edge part opposite to the grip hole. A piece extends along the fibers and the second edge portion. The fibers are secured at a carrier part (24), which is connected with the enclosing walls through the handle hole. The carrier part comprises two plant plates (28, 30) that rest against the container inner space and a wall outer side.

Description

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Behälter gemäß Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The invention relates to a container according to the preamble of claim 1.

Containers of this type are used in a variety of applications for the storage and transport of objects. They have a bottom, which is usually rectangular or square, as well as from the bottom upwardly extending side walls. The side walls adjoin one another in pairs at the edges extending from the corners of the bottom, so that they enclose a container interior around which is bounded at the bottom by the base having a support surface. In order to prevent the ingress of dirt and dust in the container interior, a lid can be placed on the walls, or it can be a container of the same design are stacked on the container, so that its bottom forms the lid. For better handling, a grip hole is arranged in at least one of the walls through which a user can reach through in order to hold the container better. In general, in containers with a rectangular plan such finger holes are arranged in at least two opposing walls, so that the container can be easily grasped and lifted from both sides.

Such containers are easy to handle due to the grip holes. Especially in industrial applications in which the containers are used to hold piece goods in a dusty or otherwise polluted atmosphere, dust or dirt can just penetrate into the container interior through the handle holes and contaminate the picked-up piece goods.

It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a container of the type mentioned in such a way that the container interior is better protected against the ingress of dust or dirt.

This object is achieved by a container with the features of claim 1. Advantageous developments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

The invention is based on the idea that the elastically flexible fibers on the one hand at least partially close the handle hole and thus at least complicate the penetration of dust or dirt. On the other hand, the fibers hardly limit the handleability of the containers, since they do not need to be removed from the respective handle hole in a first operation, such as, for example, a flap covering the handle hole, so that it is only possible to intervene in the handle hole in the second operation. Rather, it is possible to intervene simply and without delay in bending the fibers into the respective grip hole by simply pushing the fibers aside by the user's hand. If the user's hand is pulled back out of the grip hole after use, the fibers return at least approximately to their original position covering the grip hole due to their elasticity, as a result of which there is again increased dust and dirt-tightness compared to known containers.

It is possible that the fibers do not extend all the way to the second edge part, but are arranged with their free ends at a distance from the latter. Then a narrow gap remains free through which even a limited penetration of dust or dirt is possible. It is therefore preferred that the fibers extend at least to the second edge part and preferably a little way beyond this. If the fibers extend as far as the second edge part, they lie with their free ends against the latter or, owing to manufacturing tolerances, are located at a very small distance therefrom. If the fibers extend a little way beyond the second edge, their free ends protrude a little bit the container interior, and the fibers abut at a location on the second edge portion which is a distance from their free end.

It is both possible to arrange the first edge part over the second edge part, ie farther from the bottom, and vice versa. However, the latter variant is preferred, since then the fibers extend from bottom to top and the user when engaging in the handle hole and lifting the container does not attack the fibers, but at the second edge portion. This may conveniently have a gripping surface to allow comfortable carrying of the container.

It is possible to attach the fibers directly to the wall in question. However, it is preferable to insert a support member into each grip hole and to connect it to the respective wall, the fibers being respectively attached to the support member. In general, the support member and the walls are made of different materials, wherein a one-piece design of the support member made of plastic, for example polypropylene, and in this case, in particular the formation of an injection molded part, is preferred. The walls can be made of a very different material, for example, in containers that are exposed to only low loads, made of cardboard, or of plastic or metal. The support member and the walls can then be made separately, and the fibers can be attached to the support member before it is inserted into the respective handle hole. But it is also possible to dispose of carrier part and container separately when worn or to replace the worn part with a new one.

Suitably, the carrier part dresses the relevant grip hole and forms the edge of the handle hole which surrounds the first and the second edge part. For stable connection of the support member with the relevant wall, it expediently has a wall inside facing the container interior adjacent first contact plate and on the side facing away from the container interior wall outer second contact plate.

The fibers can be fastened individually to the carrier part or to the respective wall. However, it is preferred that the fibers be secured with their respective first ends to a common retaining strip. The retaining strip can then be inserted into a guide profile of the carrier part or the wall, in particular inserted into the guide profile. This further simplifies the manufacturing process. In particular, the retaining strip as well as the fibers made of plastic, so that a fixing of the fiber ends in the retaining strip can be done by heating and melting of the plastics. It is preferred that the fibers are made of polyamide or polypropylene, while the retaining strip is made of polyvinyl chloride. However, it is also possible that the fibers are glued to the retaining strip.

Of course, it is preferred that not only is there a handle hole provided with the fibers, but at least two thereof, which are preferably arranged in mutually opposite walls. A further improvement in the handling of the container results when all the walls are provided with such a fiber-containing handle hole.

The in Fig. 1 shown container 10 has a bottom 12, on the one hand forms a support surface for objects, on the other hand, a container interior 14, in which the objects are received, limited downwards. From the rectangular bottom 12, four walls 16 extend upwards, which adjoin one another in pairs and are connected to one another, thus enclosing the container interior 14. In each of the walls 16 a handle hole 18 is arranged, through which a user can engage in the container interior 14 to take the container 10 and in particular to lift. The grip holes 18 are each arranged exactly opposite each other. The container 10 also has an attached to the upper edges of the walls 16, circumferential stacking edge 20 which is provided with a shoulder 22. On the paragraph 22, a container of identical design can be placed with its bottom, which then forms a lid of the container 10. Likewise, it is also possible to place a separate cover on the shoulder 22, which closes the container interior 14 at the top.

In two of the handle holes 18, an integrally made of plastic carrier member 24 is used, which has a peripheral edge 26 and the handle hole 18 completely lines. The carrier parts ( Fig. 2a, 2b ) have two spaced parallel to each other arranged contact plates 28, 30, of which a first on the container interior 14 facing inner wall side and a second abuts against the container interior facing away from the wall outside. The first abutment plate 28 is thus arranged at a distance from the second abutment plate 30, which corresponds approximately to the thickness of the wall 16. The support member 24 also has a lying in the plane of the second abutment plate 30 retaining rib 32, from the ends of each a transverse rib 34 extends in the direction of the first abutment plate 28. Between the first abutment plate 28, the retaining rib 32 and the transverse ribs 34 is a downwardly received tongue 36 of the wall 16, so that the support member 24 is secured against falling out and slipping.

Each of the carrier parts 24 has a guide profile 38 into which a retaining strip 40 formed as a C-profile can be inserted ( Fig. 3a to 3d ). In the retaining strip 40, the first ends of elastically flexible plastic fibers 42 are inserted adjacent to each other and fused by heat application to the retaining strip 40. The fibers 42 are thus adjacent to each other from a lower, mostly horizontally extending first edge portion 44 of the peripheral edge 26 to an upper, in a central portion to the first edge portion 44 parallel second edge portion 46 up and close the respective grip hole 18. The second edge portion 46 points In this case, a flat gripping surface 48, on which a person can easily attack when lifting the container 10. The first edge portion 44 and the second edge portion 46 are connected to each other at curved side portions 50 to form the peripheral edge 26. In this case, at least one of the lateral portions 50 is provided with a slot 52 which extends to the guide profile 38 and which allows the lateral insertion of the fibers 42 provided with the retaining strip 40.

The container 10 according to Fig. 1 has two carrier parts 24 which are provided according to the invention with the fibers 42, so that penetration of dust or dirt through the respective handle holes 18 is at least made more difficult. The fibers 42 are arranged so that they rest as far as possible against each other, so that they cover the respective handle hole 18 substantially completely, whereby a good dust tightness is achieved. The fibers 42 each have a length such that they extend exactly from one edge portion 44 to the opposite edge portion 46 upwards. From the point of view of ease of manufacture, however, it may be advantageous if the fibers 42 are slightly longer and then protrude a little way into the container interior 14 with their free ends 54. The other two handle holes 18 of the container 10 according to Fig. 1 are indeed with handle parts 56 provided of plastic, but which are not equipped with fibers 42. This is for illustrative purposes only. Of course, it is preferred that all handle holes 18 are closed as possible dust-proof or dirt-tight by fibers 42.

In summary, the following should be noted: The invention relates to a container 10 having a bottom 12, extending from the bottom 12, in pairs adjacent, a container interior 14 enclosing walls 16, at least one of the walls 16 has a handle hole 18 through which a Person can reach through and engage in the container interior 14. According to the invention, a plurality of elastically flexible fibers 42 extending in the direction of one of the first edge part 44 opposite the second edge part 46 of the handle hole 18 are arranged on a first edge part 44 of the at least one grip hole 18.
