The present invention relates to improvements in nozzles for Vacuum cleaners, the
present structure being especially designed nozzle'is placed into act-ire' relation thereto.

'It is also evident that by reason of the springs 10 the release of the nozzle 1 will permit of an automatic adjustment of' the members from the position as shown in Fig. 2 to that shown in F 1, thus automatically relieving the mouth-piece 7 of any suction .action when the tool is being removed or released.

1. Ina tool for vacuum cleaners, the conibination of a nozzle having an inlet -and an to 'and from the inletof said nozzle, and 'resilient means to normally hold the mouthpiece away. from said inlet.
2.. In a tool for vacuum cleaners, the coinbination of a nozzle haring an inlet and an outlet, a perforated mouth-piece, and means carried by the nozzle and mouth-piece ior resiliently connecting the inoutl1-piece to the nozzle for movement to and-from the inlet thereof.
