My invention consists in an arrangement of inclined drawers, one above the other, within a-suitably-shaped case, provided with aglassi'ront or lid, that, on being opened, allows of the drawers being extended either for exposure and' manipulation of the goods or for lling them with spools from the rear, thejnclination of said drawers inducing the spools to rollor work to the front.

Referring-to the accompanying drawing- A'represents thefranie or chamber of the case,

-inade with the front B sloping backwardly in an up ward drection,.aiid provided with a glazed lidor door, B, also formed with ways in its sides for a series of drawers, C, torhe slid in and out of the case.

These drawers are set sloping in .an upward direction from the front of the case, and are formed with `partitions for holdinga series of spools, D, in parallel rows, cach row being made-up cfa series of spools arranged one behind the other.

There may be any numberv of these drawers lying one over the other, according t0 the size ofthe case. Y When thel case is closed the inclined position ofthe drawers and shape of the front' of the case will always secure a-certan exposure of the spools that roll or crowd downtoward y'the front of the drawers, but

when: a fuller expo'snreis required, or when it is necessary -to handle the spools or to refill the spaces ,in the'dra'wers .with spools to make up vacancies causedl by removal ofspools, then thefront of the case is opened, and any one or more of the drawers extended, which admits ofthe drawers being .re-

plenished by' entering the spools from -t-he rear in each `row, or rows, instead of introducing them in front and pushing the rear ones in a body backward, as is done in show-cases having ixed inclined trays or shelves, and which do' not ai'ord the ysaine facility for exposure of the goods that drawers capable oi removal from the case do, while mere drawers which do n otprovide for an inclined arrangement of the spools are defective as regards exposure and automatic adjustment of the spools toward the front ot' .the case when tlie'drawers are .in their places and closed.
