Although the structure forming the subject matter ot this application may be made in various sizes, it is referabl'y fashioned in small dimensions so t at it ma'yloe readily handled. Disclosed through the upper o ening 3 is a ceiling panel 6 which is slidab y mounted on the rear face of the plate 2, removably, 1n an upper guide 7 and an intermediate guide 8, these elements being attached to the rear face of the plate 2. The invention com rises a wall panel .9 visible through the ower o ening i and held in place removably and slidably by the intermediate guide 8 and a lower guide 10. It is to be observed that the transverse axis of the lower opening 4 and the rib 5 do not lie at right angles to theA longer di- Y mensi'on yof the plate 2, but extend downwardly andV to the left, as clearly disclosed in Fig. 1 and as outlined in Fig. 2, the perspective effect being further enhanced by this construction.

That form of the invention disclosedei'n Figs. 5, 6, 7 and 8 does not'difier materially from that form -of the invention delineated in Fig. l. In the figures under consideration, practically the only change brought about is that the border displaying panel 9 of Fig. 1' is replaced in Fig. 5 by a panel of suicient size to disclose an extended wall area.

The wall panel 29 is held in the intermediate guide 28 and in a lower guide 30 and the stop for the panels is shown at 31. A ortion of the plate is upwardly extende as shown at 32 and protrudes as shown'at 34 within the contour of the upper opening, the

inclined edge of the portion 34 appearing at 35. The inner edge of the lower opening is shown at 36 and the panel 29 which is disclosed through this opening is extended downwardly toa base-board 3 A portion of the plate to the left of the opening 24 is decorated as shown at 38 to indicate a rec- -tangularly disposed side wall. The plate 22 is marked or decorated in its lower portion and upon its forward face to indicate a floor, as shown at 39. Noting the point at which the4 reference character 40 is applied to Fig. 6 and observing the reference character 20 in Fig. 4, the function of the part 34 as a fingerl abutment for the panel 26 will be understood readily.

Those skilled in the art will understand that the fixed portions of the structure may be decorated in any desired manner, the removable panels being variously constructed.

Ilaving thus described the invention, what is claimed is In a device for displaying ceiling and side wall combinations, a plate provided with an upper, ceiling-disclosing opening,`

and a lower, wall-disclosing opening torming a molding-defining rib therebetween, a ceiling panel; a wall panel;platecarr1ed guides for` holding the panels for inspection through the respective openings; the

plate being upwardly extended along one end of the wall-disclosing opening and b eing extended within the contour of the ceilk ing-disclosing opening to form an abutment,

the upper edge of which is extended downwardly and inwardly with respect to the upper edge of the rib, thereby to throw the ceiling panel into perspective and to throw into perspective so much ofthe plate as lies beyond said end of the wall-disclosin opening; .and the abutment being adapte to coact with the Enger of an operator to prevent a distortion of the ceiling panel when the ejection thereofis begun.
