A further object of the invention is to provide a holder of this character so constructed that the same can be used for sup porting watches of difierent sizes.
With these and other objects in view, this invention resides in the novel features of construction, formation, combination and arrangement of parts to be hereinafter more fully described, claimed and illustrated in the accompanying drawing, in which Figure l is a side elevation of the device sl'iowing the same attached to the steering post.
Fig. 2 is a sectional view on line 2-2 of Fig. l.
l ig. 3 is a section view on line 3-3 of Fig. 1.
Fig. 4 is a sectional view on line l-4c of Fig. 2.
The device consists of an arm 1 said arm having one of its ends provided with a bar 2, while the other end thereof is provided with furcations 3 which are provided With slots 4, the purpose of which will appear later.

The extereme outer ends of jaws 5 are provided with confronting notches 7 which accommodate the stem of the watch.
The inner ends of the jaws 5 terminate in arms 8, said arms being pivotally mounted in the slots l, and have their inner ends provided with lugs 9 which are alined with the lugs l0 carried by the arm 1, said lugs serving to hold the coiled springs 11 in place.
The bar 2 is riveted to a strap 12 which is adapted to be engaged around the steering post of the machine so as to hold the device in a position so that the watch will be held in the line of vision of the driver.
