Be it known that l, VILLAM L. DENNI- soN, a citizen of the United States of America, residing at Columbus, in the county of Franklin and State of Ohio, have invented new and useful Improvements in Holders of which the following a specification.
As an improved device to hold bed clothes,
er, the same having at the others-nd a i vice for engaging in the wire of a sprinc mattress, whereby the bed clothes are sured of being kept in placeon the bed to prevent them being thrown olf by sick or restless persons or babies.
A still further object is 'toprovide a device connecting to that end of the flexible member remote from the clasp, whereby the flexible member may be made to surround the side rail of a bed. the device appropriately connecting with the clasp tohold the exible member in the said surroundclothes in position when the clasp is connected to them.
' A still further object of the` invention is to provide a. device of this character which is simple in construction, durable 'and effective in operation and inexpensive to manufacture and place on the market.

Referring to the drawings, the invention hown as comprising a clasp l which may form appropriate for engaging gripping the bed clothes. In the application of the device, the clasp 1 is attached to the bed' clothes, the strap is drawn around the-side of the bed and the attaching device (having two hook members J) connected to the bed spring by means of as shown in Fig. 3. provides the necessar y ing the two hook members always in engageu ment with it.
