A reinforced concrete floor construction, comprising slabs provided with dovetail tongues and grooves on botli faces. tbe slabs being;` arranged in a plane in abutting relation, metallic boxes, one ior leach slab, and each provided wit'n outwardly extending flanges at the bottom,J the longitudinal flanges of which extend into corresponding grooves and under corresponding tongues of the slab, and the cross flanges extend across the tongues and rest on top thereof, connectingstirrups connecting the adjacent boxes with each other, reinforcing members between the boxes, and a illing of cenientitions material on top of tlie slabs and embedding the said boxes, stirrups and reinforcing members.
