For further comprehension of the inven tion, and of the objects and advantages thereof, reference will be had to the following description and appended claims, and to the accompanying drawings in which the various novel features of the invention are more particularly set forth.

Referring now to the drawings my improved toy comprises a base on which is supported a rotary air motor whose casingis shown at 41 and whose rotor is shown at 42, the rotor being in the form of a vane wheel on which the jet of air impinges, the air being blown on the rotor 42'through a flexible tube 43 connected to the casing 41. The base 40 has a floor extension 44 at the end of which is an upright standard 45, while the shaft 46 of the rotor 42 is extended beyond the motor casing and journaled at its end in this standard.
Upon this standard 45,and concentric to the shaft 46, is adrum 47 having the face thereof which is turned away from the standard left open. In the interior of this drum are carried a series of metal strips 48 of the type used in music boxes which are secured at one end to the cylindrical wall of the drum, being bent slightly outward therefrom throughout their mam lengths, these Figure 1 of the draw ngs is a side eleva-- strips being of different lengths to cause them to sound different notes when struck.
Fixed on the shaft 46 adjacent the drum 47 is a double walled wheel 49 and upon the wall thereof which faces toward the drum a series of strikers 50 are fixed in position to engage the strips 48 when the wheel is revolved.
Upon the opposite Wall of the wheel 4 are suspended a series of cars 51 which may have figures 52 therein. As here shown rods 53 extend through the wheel 49 and have the strikers 50 fixed to one end thereof and the cars 51 suspended freely from the opposite ends.
As will be apparent, when air is blown through tube 43,, shaft 46 will be revolved and with it wheel 49, which has the appearance of a miniature ferris wheel, while at the same time a tune will be played by the musical instrument constituted by the drum 47 and strips 48- Having thus described my invention what I claim as new and desire to protect by Letters Patent of the United States is as follows:
1. In a toy, an air motor, a shaft rotated thereby, a wheel fixed on said shaft, a series of toy elements carried by one face of the wheel, a stationary drum mounted concentrio to said shaft adjacent the opposite face of said wheel, and having the face thereof contiguous to the wheel open and the opposite face closed, note strips fixed in said drum, and strikers carried by said wheel and projecting into said drum to engage the said note strips.
2. In a toy, an air motor, ashaft rotated thereby, a wheel fixed on said shaft, a series of cars suspended on one face of said wheel, a stationary drum mounted concentric to said shaft adjacent said Wheel, note strips fixed in said drum, and strikers carried by the'opposite face of said wheel and adapted to engage said note strips.
