The present invention relates to spray nozzles of the adjustable type in Wl11Cl1 the nozzle proper can turn on the threaded end of the outlet-pipe of any spraylng appara tus, in order to set or adjust the spray, and in which this threaded end is an independent piece which may be screwed on the out let-pipe of said apparatus.
Its object is to provide a nozzle of this type, which is easy to, manufacture and 1n which an efiicient tightness of the nozzles joining on the pipe is very simply obtained Besides, the end of the pipe in thls nozzle terminates in the shape of the whirler member, and the oblique or spiral passages, recessed into the periphery of this whirler member, are widened at their outlet 1n order to obtain intermediate degrees of fineness of the spray between the mist and the full spray.

This embodiment consists of 3 parts: a, b, a. One end of part a is threaded at an n order to be screwed on the outlet-pipe of any kind of spraying apparatus. Besides, this part a is provided with a threaded part a and terminates at its other end with a full cylindrical part a which forms the whirler member. Between this whirler member a and the threaded'part a is formed an annular groove (0*. a shows the axial bore fitted for the passage of the liquid through part a. a indicates two radial passages which give communication between thebore ai'and the groove a Into the periphery of the whirler member a are drilled the usual oblique or spiral passages a which cause the whirling of the liquid necessary for atomizing the spray.
According to the invention, the section of these passages a is enlarged, as shown by a (see Fig. 3), on the side facing the outlet.
