Thus the method of making my bottle cap lifter constitutes the means of blanking out in the desired formation the lifter A illustrated in Figure 1, and then in tumbling these lifters to remove the sharper edge 19 after which the portion 22 is cut awa Y provide the piercing point 26 of a very sharp, effective nature as is desired. Heretofore these articles have been manufactured and tumbled after the complete died out formation. in my method the last operation is the cutting away of the portion 22 which leavesa sharp piercing point 26 inclined to one side of the lifte A in a manner so that a needle like point is drawn at on the finished lifter. The lifters are then ready to be used and are provided with such a design as would be most practical in use.
The drawings illustrate a particular formation of my lifter but I desire to have it understood that this is only suggestive as a means of carrying out my invention and that 2.
