They are fairly large as they are divided into a number ot coinpartnients to receive nails ot dilterent sizes,
and as the poclet ispernianently attached to the overalls, it is in the Way when not required.
rlhe object ol" the present invention is to generally improve and simplify the construction and operation oi" pockets of the character described, and especially to pro vide a pocket which -rnay be readily and quickly attached. to the overalls when required and detached and laid aside when other Work is to be performed.
The pocket is shown, by Way ol illustration, in the accompanying drawings, in ivhich- Fig. l is a. Atrent View of a carpente1"s overalls, showing; the nail pocket applied.

While certain features ol. the present invention are incre or less specifically illustrated such, for instance, as enoployine` snap buttons tor the purpose of securing the pocket to the bib or body portion Vot the overalls, it is obvious that other 'lfastening;l ineans may be employed.
I also Wish it understood that the .inaterials and finish of the' several parts einployed inay be such as the experience and 95 judgment of the manufacturer may dictate or varying` conditions may demand.
Havingthus described my invention, what I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent s- In a garment of the character described, a bodyzporton, an apron secured to the body 5' porton'and provided with a free overhanging flap, a pocket having an upper extension formed thereon nsertable'between the body
