combination with a container within the cas-y ing for a pack of reversely folded continuous web in which thefolds extend backward and forward and from which thel web may be drawn over said web guide in dispensing, a restraining member for the web comprising a follower free for vertical movement in the container arranged to press down upon the top of the folded web pack for holding down the folds thereof and for putting' the web under tension as it is withdrawn from the pack over said web guide by the feed rollers, and a visual indicator visible from the outside of the casing connected to the web-restraining follower to be moved thereby for giving a visual indication of the amount of web in the container.

The invention defined in claim 9, in combination with a container within the casfor a pack of reversely folded continuous web in which the folds extend backward and forward and from which the web is withdrawn over said web guide by the. feed rollers, a pivot shaft journaledin the casing near' `is withdrawn by the feed rollers over said wee guide, and an indicating hand carried by the forward end of said shaft visible from the outside of the front of the casingV for giving a visual indication of the amount of web in the container. v
