i This invention relates to golf bags and has for any object to provide an improved con 7 struction for use with golf sticks or clubs of half length or full length but separable centrally.
Another object of the invention is to provide a golf bag wherein anumber of clubs of hal l': length proportion anda single handle may be-carried, the structure being such that 1 whenthebag is being ca-rried or supported frointhe upper part, the handle and club sections will be out of sight, while they will project above the upper end of the bag when the bag has been placed on the ground. I V Another object, more specifically, is to provide a golf bag wherein 'a telescoping lower portion is provided whereby the effective length of thebag-willvaryso that the golf stic'kswill project abovethe top of thebag when in one position andmay fall short of the top of the bag when in a second position. 7 In the accompanying drawing.. at
Figure 1 is aperspective view of a golf bag (llSClOSillg an embodiment of theinvention. i
Figure 2 is a longitudinal vertical sec.- tional view, through. the golfgbag shown in Figurel p Figure 3 isa view similarto Figure2 but showing the bag in position when resting on the ground with the telescoping partsslid together. i v t f i Figure 4 is'a sectional viewithroughfFig ure'3 approximatelyon line 4-41. f t
Figure 5 is a side view. of a golf club, sec tion and handle, the handle being shown separate but'in operative position in dot-and. dash lines.
Referring to the accompanying drawing 0' by numerals, 1 indicates a golf bag as a 1 whole, and'2 a golf stick as a whole, said golf stick comprising a club section 3 and ahandle section 4 removably connected with a section 3.
=4 proximatelyhalfthe length of the-usual golf club and the handle 4 is also of half the length i club" handle, said handlebeing connected with) the club section 3 of t the usual golf suitable fastening structure 5. By reason of using the half length lstruc ture on section'3- a'number of difl'erent clubs may be carried in the bag 1 and a single handle 4 as illustrated in dot-anddash lines in Figures and 3.
