The sub-chamber connects to the main chamber and has a smaller size than the main chamber. A bonding potion is defined at an area on the pouch beside the sub-chamber. The sheet walls are fastening to each other at the bonding potion. A guiding line disposes at the bonding potion extending from the end thereof to the sub-chamber. The guiding line divides the bonding potion into a first segment and a second segment. A gap is disposed at the edge of the pouch at the distal end of the guiding line, whereby user can exert the first and the second segments of the bonding potion to tear them apart along the guiding line.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates generally to a container, and more particularly to a sealed pouch which can be torn easily and smoothly. [0001]
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Pouches are to contain condiments, shampoos etc. therein. FIG. 1 shows a conventional sealed [0002] pouch 1, which is made of two plastic films bonded to each other by heat sealing. The pouch 1 has a storage chamber 2 therein for containing articles. The pouch 1 has a gap 3 at one edge thereof for facilitating user to tear the pouch 1 to form an opening 4 such that the articles contained in the pouch can be taken away from the opening 4.
  • When tearing the [0003] conventional pouch 1, there was an unexpected and irregular tearing line extended from the gap 3. So the size of the opening 4 of the pouch 1 is uncontrollable. Beside that, user had fingers pressing the storage chamber 2 when tearing the pouch 1, therefore, articles, particularly to liquid materials, in the storage chamber 2 are easy to be ejected out. These are the inconveniences of the conventional pouch.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide an improved pouch, which has a smooth and regular tearing line when tearing the pouch. [0004]
  • According to the object of the present invention, a pouch comprises two sheet walls bonded to each other at peripheral edges thereof. A storage chamber is formed in between the sheet walls. The storage chamber has a main chamber and a sub-chamber. The guiding line divides the bonding potion into a first segment and a second segment, whereby user can exert the first and the second segments of the bonding potion to tear them apart along the guiding line.[0005]

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Please refer to FIGS. [0016] 2-5, the first preferred embodiment of the present invention provides a pouch 10, which has two sheet walls 11 and 12 overlapped and boned to each other at peripheral edges thereof. The unbonded part of the pouch 10 defines a storage chamber 13 between the sheet walls 11 and 12 to store liquid, colloid, solid or powder articles therein. The sheet walls 11 and 12 are two independent films made of plastic, paper etc. in the first embodiment, and are bonded to each other by heat sealing as shown in FIG. 4. The storage chamber 13 of the pouch 10 has a main chamber 131 and a sub-chamber 132. The sub-chamber 132 is a channel-like passageway extending from the topside of the main chamber 131 and has a smaller size than the main chamber 131.
  • The [0017] pouch 10 has a bonding potion 14 beside the sub-chamber 132 of the storage chamber 13. The bonding potion 14 is an area on the pouch 10, where the sheet walls 11 and 12 are bonded together. A guiding line 15 is disposed at the bonding potion 14 extending from the edge of the pouch 10 to the sub-chamber 132, which is made from hot pressing the pouch 10 to form a dot line thereon in this embodiment. The guiding line 15 divides the bonding potion 14 into a first segment 141, which is closing to the edge of the pouch 10, and a second segment 142. The distal end of the guiding line 15 has a gap 16 at the edge of the pouch 10.
  • Please refer to FIG. 5, user can hold the first and the [0018] second segments 141 and 142 of the bonding potion 14 of the pouch 10 of the present invention to exert thereon to tear the pouch 10 from the gap 16, the guiding line 15 to the sub-chamber 132. Thus, the storage chamber 13 has an opening at topside of the sub-chamber 132.
  • Hereunder are the advantages of the present invention: [0019]
  • 1. Easy to tear: [0020]
  • Because of the guiding [0021] line 15 on the bonding potion 14, the pouch 10 of the present invention is easy to be torn by exerting the first segment 141.
  • 2. The tearing line is regular and smooth: [0022]
  • When user exerts the first and the [0023] second segments 141 and 142 of the bonding potion 14, the stress will concentrate on the gap 16 and the guiding line 15. So, the tearing line is along the guiding 15 to be a regular and smooth line.
  • 3. Easy to exert for tearing the pouch: [0024]
  • The [0025] bonding potion 14 provides the user a larger area to hold. Thus, user will not press the storage chamber 13 to make the articles therein ejecting out when tearing the pouch 10.
  • 4. Easy to pour out the articles in the pouch: [0026]
  • After tearing the [0027] pouch 10, the access of the storage chamber 13 is at the topside of the sub-chamber 132. The size of the access is fixed for facilitating user to pour out the articles in the storage chamber 13.
  • FIG. 6 shows a [0028] pouch 20 of a second preferred embodiment of the present invention, which has, similar to the first embodiment, two sheet walls 21 (only shown one sheet wall in FIG.), a storage chamber 23, a bonding potion 24, a guiding line 25 and a gap 26. The storage chamber 23 has a main chamber 231 and a sub-chamber 232. The guiding line 25 divides the bonding potion 24 into a first segment 241 and a second segment 242. Different from the first embodiment, the sub-chamber 232 has a shape of gradually decreasing the width thereof from the end connecting to the main chamber 231 to the distal end thereof.
  • Please refer to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, a [0029] pouch 30 of a third preferred embodiment of the present invention is made from bending an elongated film and to be bonded at the peripheral edge as shown in FIG. 7. The pouch 30 of the third embodiment has two sheet walls 31 and 32, a storage chamber 33, a bonding potion 34, a guiding line 35 and a gap 36. The storage chamber 33 has a main chamber 331 and a sub-chamber 332. The guiding line 35 divides the bonding potion 34 into a first segment 341 and a second segment 342. The difference is the sub-chamber 332 being an elongated channel-like passageway at midsection of the topside of the main chamber 331 as shown in FIG. 8.
  • FIG. 9 shows a [0030] pouch 40 of a fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention, which has two sheet walls 41 (only shown one sheet wall in FIG.), a storage chamber 43, a bonding potion 44, a guiding line 45 and a gap 46. The storage chamber 43 has a main chamber 431 and a sub-chamber 432. The guiding line 45 divides the bonding potion 44 into a first segment 441 and a second segment 442. The difference is the sub-chamber 432 having an inward curved side closing to the bonding potion 44.
  • FIG. 10 shows a [0031] pouch 50 of a fifth preferred embodiment of the present invention, which has two sheet walls 51 (only shown one sheet wall in FIG.), a storage chamber 53, a bonding potion 54, two parallel guiding lines 55 and two gaps 56. The storage chamber 53 has a main chamber 531 and a sub-chamber 532. The guiding line 55 divides the bonding potion 54 into a first segment 541 and a second segment 542. The difference are we providing two guiding lines 55 and two 56 gaps thereon, and providing the sub-chamber 532 having an outward curved side closing to the bonding potion 54.
