Abstract
A pouch has two sheet walls bonded to each other at peripheral edges thereof. A storage chamber is formed in between the sheet walls. The storage chamber has a main chamber and a sub-chamber. The sub-chamber connects to the main chamber and has a smaller size than the main chamber. A bonding potion is defined at an area on the pouch beside the sub-chamber. The sheet walls are fastening to each other at the bonding potion. A guiding line disposes at the bonding potion extending from the end thereof to the sub-chamber. The guiding line divides the bonding potion into a first segment and a second segment. A gap is disposed at the edge of the pouch at the distal end of the guiding line, whereby user can exert the first and the second segments of the bonding potion to tear them apart along the guiding line.
Description
- The present invention relates generally to a container, and more particularly to a sealed pouch which can be torn easily and smoothly.
- Pouches are to contain condiments, shampoos etc. therein. FIG. 1 shows a conventional sealed
pouch 1, which is made of two plastic films bonded to each other by heat sealing. Thepouch 1 has astorage chamber 2 therein for containing articles. Thepouch 1 has agap 3 at one edge thereof for facilitating user to tear thepouch 1 to form anopening 4 such that the articles contained in the pouch can be taken away from theopening 4. - When tearing the
conventional pouch 1, there was an unexpected and irregular tearing line extended from thegap 3. So the size of the opening 4 of thepouch 1 is uncontrollable. Beside that, user had fingers pressing thestorage chamber 2 when tearing thepouch 1, therefore, articles, particularly to liquid materials, in thestorage chamber 2 are easy to be ejected out. These are the inconveniences of the conventional pouch. - The primary object of the present invention is to provide an improved pouch, which has a smooth and regular tearing line when tearing the pouch.
- According to the object of the present invention, a pouch comprises two sheet walls bonded to each other at peripheral edges thereof. The guiding line divides the bonding potion into a first segment and a second segment, whereby user can exert the first and the second segments of the bonding potion to tear them apart along the guiding line.

- FIG. 3 is a front side view of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention;
- FIG. 4 is a schematic view of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing two plastic films to be bonded together;
- FIG. 5 is a front side view of the first preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing the pouch had been torn;
- FIG. 6 is a front side view of a second preferred embodiment of the present invention;
- FIG. 7 is a schematic view of a third preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing a plastic film to be bended to form the pouch;
- FIG. 8 is a front side view of the third preferred embodiment of the present invention;
- FIG. 9 is a front side view of a fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention, and
- FIG. 10 is a front side view of a fifth preferred embodiment of the present invention.
- Please refer to FIGS.2-5, the first preferred embodiment of the present invention provides a
pouch 10, which has twosheet walls pouch 10 defines astorage chamber 13 between thesheet walls sheet walls storage chamber 13 of thepouch 10 has amain chamber 131 and asub-chamber 132. Thesub-chamber 132 is a channel-like passageway extending from the topside of themain chamber 131 and has a smaller size than themain chamber 131. - The
pouch 10 has abonding potion 14 beside thesub-chamber 132 of thestorage chamber 13. Thebonding potion 14 is an area on thepouch 10, where thesheet walls line 15 is disposed at thebonding potion 14 extending from the edge of thepouch 10 to thesub-chamber 132, which is made from hot pressing thepouch 10 to form a dot line thereon in this embodiment. The guidingline 15 divides thebonding potion 14 into afirst segment 141, which is closing to the edge of thepouch 10, and asecond segment 142. The distal end of the guidingline 15 has agap 16 at the edge of thepouch 10. - Please refer to FIG. 5, user can hold the first and the
second segments bonding potion 14 of thepouch 10 of the present invention to exert thereon to tear thepouch 10 from thegap 16, theguiding line 15 to thesub-chamber 132. Thus, thestorage chamber 13 has an opening at topside of thesub-chamber 132. - Hereunder are the advantages of the present invention:
- 1. Easy to tear:
- Because of the guiding
line 15 on thebonding potion 14, thepouch 10 of the present invention is easy to be torn by exerting thefirst segment 141. - 2. The tearing line is regular and smooth:
- When user exerts the first and the
second segments bonding potion 14, the stress will concentrate on thegap 16 and the guidingline 15. So, the tearing line is along the guiding 15 to be a regular and smooth line. - 3. Easy to exert for tearing the pouch:
- The
bonding potion 14 provides the user a larger area to hold. Thus, user will not press thestorage chamber 13 to make the articles therein ejecting out when tearing thepouch 10. - 4. Easy to pour out the articles in the pouch:
- After tearing the
pouch 10, the access of thestorage chamber 13 is at the topside of thesub-chamber 132. The size of the access is fixed for facilitating user to pour out the articles in thestorage chamber 13. - FIG. 6 shows a
pouch 20 of a second preferred embodiment of the present invention, which has, similar to the first embodiment, two sheet walls 21 (only shown one sheet wall in FIG.), astorage chamber 23, abonding potion 24, a guidingline 25 and agap 26. Thestorage chamber 23 has amain chamber 231 and asub-chamber 232. The guidingline 25 divides thebonding potion 24 into afirst segment 241 and asecond segment 242. Different from the first embodiment, thesub-chamber 232 has a shape of gradually decreasing the width thereof from the end connecting to themain chamber 231 to the distal end thereof. - Please refer to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8, a
pouch 30 of a third preferred embodiment of the present invention is made from bending an elongated film and to be bonded at the peripheral edge as shown in FIG. 7. Thepouch 30 of the third embodiment has twosheet walls storage chamber 33, abonding potion 34, a guidingline 35 and agap 36. Thestorage chamber 33 has amain chamber 331 and a sub-chamber 332. The guidingline 35 divides thebonding potion 34 into afirst segment 341 and asecond segment 342. The difference is the sub-chamber 332 being an elongated channel-like passageway at midsection of the topside of themain chamber 331 as shown in FIG. 8. - FIG. 9 shows a
pouch 40 of a fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention, which has two sheet walls 41 (only shown one sheet wall in FIG.), astorage chamber 43, abonding potion 44, a guidingline 45 and agap 46. Thestorage chamber 43 has amain chamber 431 and a sub-chamber 432. The guidingline 45 divides thebonding potion 44 into afirst segment 441 and asecond segment 442. The difference is the sub-chamber 432 having an inward curved side closing to thebonding potion 44. - FIG. 10 shows a
pouch 50 of a fifth preferred embodiment of the present invention, which has two sheet walls 51 (only shown one sheet wall in FIG.), astorage chamber 53, abonding potion 54, twoparallel guiding lines 55 and twogaps 56. Thestorage chamber 53 has amain chamber 531 and a sub-chamber 532. The guidingline 55 divides thebonding potion 54 into afirst segment 541 and asecond segment 542. The difference are we providing two guidinglines 55 and two 56 gaps thereon, and providing the sub-chamber 532 having an outward curved side closing to thebonding potion 54.
