Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention intends to provide an installing device for quickly fixing the case of the tool holder on a wall.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • A conventional tool holder “B” fixed on a wall 50 is disclosed in FIGS. 7A to 7C, and generally includes an instruction board 61 which can be torn from the commercial package box 60 of the holder and indexes 62 are marked on the instruction board 61. The instruction board 61 is then fixed on the wall 50 by using nails 43. The case 40 of the holder “B” is fixed to the board 61 by extending screws through the case 40 and fixed to the wall at the indexes 62. The case 40 includes several protrusions and recesses are defined between the protrusions. Holding members 41 are installed to the protrusion such that the handles of the tools can be inserted in the recesses and clamped between the holding members 41. As shown in FIG. 8, the case 40 of the holder “B” may also be fixed on the wall 50 by drilling holes in the wall and each hole receives a plastic sleeve 51 therein. A back board is fixed to the wall by extending screws 44 through the back board and fixed to the plastic sleeves 51. By this way, the wall is prevented from cracking by the screws 44. The case 40 us then fixed to the back board by extending screws through the case 40 and fixed to tubes extending from the back board.
  • The present invention relates to a quick installing device that has first members on a rear side of the holder and second members fixed on a wall, the first members are engaged with two grooves on two sides of the second members.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIGS. 1, 2 and 2A, the tool holder “A” of the present invention comprises a case 10 that has a plurality of hollow protrusions extending from a front side thereof and recesses 11 are defined between the protrusions. Each protrusion has a clamping member 12 movably received therein and a part of the clamping member 12 extends into the recess 11. An inclined board 102 is fixed in each of the protrusion and includes two rails 103. Each clamping member 12 has two grooves 122 with which the rails 103 are engaged, such that the clamping member 12 is movable along the rails 103 according to the width of the handle of the tools to be clamped. Each protrusion includes two elongate slots 101 defined in two opposite insides and each clamping member 12 includes two rods 123 eccentrically extending from two ends thereof, the two rods 123 movably engaged with the two slots 101 when the clamping member 12 is movable on the rails 103. A friction portion 121 such as a rubber band is wrapped on each of the clamping members 12 and the friction may hold the tools effectively as shown in FIG. 6.
  • Referring to FIGS. 3A to 3C, the quick installed device 20 includes a plurality of first members 21 which are fixed to a rear side of the case 10, wherein each of the first members 21 has a tube 211. Screws 14 extend through connection tubes 13 extending from an inside of the case 40 and are threadedly connected to the tubes 211 of the first members 21. A plurality of second members 22 each have a hole 221 defined therethrough which is located in alignment with a plastic sleeve 23 which is inserted in holes 31 drilled in the wall 30. Screws 24 extend through the holes 221 of the second members 22 and screw into the plastic sleeves 23 to fix the second members 22 on the wall 30. Each of the second members 22 has two extension plate 222 extending from two sides thereof so as to define two grooves 223 between the second member and the extension plates 222. Two stops 224 extend from each of the second members 22 and located at an end of the groove 223. Two sides of each of the first members 21 are slidably engaged with the two grooves 223 and the two stops 224 stop the two side of the first member 21 from dropping out from the grooves 223.
  • FIG. 4 shows anther embodiment of the engagement of the first member 21 and the second member 22, wherein each of the first member 21 has a dent 212 defined in a side opposite to the side having the tube 211 and each of the second member 22 has a boss 225 which is engaged with the dent 212 to further position the first member 21 to the second member 22.
  • FIG. 5 shows that further bolts 25 extend through the case 40 and are connected to the wall so as to more securely connect the case 10 to the wall 30.
  • While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
