- Each of the second members 22 has two extension plate 222 extending from two sides thereof so as to define two grooves 223 between the second member and the extension plates 222 .
- Two stops 224 extend from each of the second members 22 and located at an end of the groove 223 .
- Two sides of each of the first members 21 are slidably engaged with the two grooves 223 and the two stops 224 stop the two side of the first member 21 from dropping out from the grooves 223 .
- FIG. 4 shows anther embodiment of the engagement of the first member 21 and the second member 22 , wherein each of the first member 21 has a dent 212 defined in a side opposite to the side having the tube 211 and each of the second member 22 has a boss 225 which is engaged with the dent 212 to further position the first member 21 to the second member 22 .
- FIG. 5 shows that further bolts 25 extend through the case 40 and are connected to the wall so as to more securely connect the case 10 to the wall 30 .
Abstract
A quick installing device for a tool holder for holding handles of tools includes a plurality of first members fixed to a rear side of the case of the tool holder and a plurality of second members are fixed on a wall. The second members has two extension plates on two sides thereof so as to define two grooves between the second plate and the extension plates. Two sides of the first members are slidably engaged with the grooves of the second members.
Description
- The present invention intends to provide an installing device for quickly fixing the case of the tool holder on a wall.
- A conventional tool holder “B” fixed on a
wall 50 is disclosed inFIGS. 7A to 7C, and generally includes aninstruction board 61 which can be torn from thecommercial package box 60 of the holder andindexes 62 are marked on theinstruction board 61. Theinstruction board 61 is then fixed on thewall 50 by usingnails 43. Thecase 40 of the holder “B” is fixed to theboard 61 by extending screws through thecase 40 and fixed to the wall at theindexes 62. Thecase 40 includes several protrusions and recesses are defined between the protrusions.Holding members 41 are installed to the protrusion such that the handles of the tools can be inserted in the recesses and clamped between theholding members 41. As shown inFIG. 8 , thecase 40 of the holder “B” may also be fixed on thewall 50 by drilling holes in the wall and each hole receives aplastic sleeve 51 therein. A back board is fixed to the wall by extendingscrews 44 through the back board and fixed to theplastic sleeves 51. By this way, the wall is prevented from cracking by thescrews 44. Thecase 40 us then fixed to the back board by extending screws through thecase 40 and fixed to tubes extending from the back board. - The present invention relates to a quick installing device that has first members on a rear side of the holder and second members fixed on a wall, the first members are engaged with two grooves on two sides of the second members.
- The present invention relates to a tool holder which comprises a case having a plurality of hollow protrusions extending from a front side thereof and recesses are defined between the protrusions. Each protrusion receives a clamping member therein such that tool handles are clamped between the two adjacent clamping members. A plurality of first members are fixed to a rear side of the case and a plurality of second members are fixed on a wall. The first members are slidably connected to the second members.
- The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

FIG. 2A shows that the handles of tools are clamped by clamping members of the tool holder of the present invention; -

FIG. 3 B shows the first members are to be connected to the second members on a wall; -
FIG. 3C shows the tool holder is fixed on the wall by engaging the first members with the second members on a wall; -
FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the engagement of the first member and the second member; -
FIG. 5 shows that bolts are further used to fix the case to the wall; -
FIG. 6 shows tools are held by the tool holder of the present invention; -
FIG. 7A shows an instruction board is used of the conventional tool holder; -
FIG. 7B is an exploded view to show that the conventional tool holder is to be fixed on a wall; -
FIG. 7C is a cross sectional view to show the conventional tool holder is fixed on the wall, and -
FIG. 8 shows another conventional tool holder. - Referring to
FIGS. 1, 2 and 2A, the tool holder “A” of the present invention comprises acase 10 that has a plurality of hollow protrusions extending from a front side thereof andrecesses 11 are defined between the protrusions. Each protrusion has aclamping member 12 movably received therein and a part of theclamping member 12 extends into therecess 11. Aninclined board 102 is fixed in each of the protrusion and includes tworails 103. Eachclamping member 12 has twogrooves 122 with which therails 103 are engaged, such that theclamping member 12 is movable along therails 103 according to the width of the handle of the tools to be clamped. Each protrusion includes twoelongate slots 101 defined in two opposite insides and eachclamping member 12 includes tworods 123 eccentrically extending from two ends thereof, the tworods 123 movably engaged with the twoslots 101 when theclamping member 12 is movable on therails 103. Afriction portion 121 such as a rubber band is wrapped on each of theclamping members 12 and the friction may hold the tools effectively as shown inFIG. 6 . - Referring to
FIGS. 3A to 3C, the quick installeddevice 20 includes a plurality offirst members 21 which are fixed to a rear side of thecase 10, wherein each of thefirst members 21 has atube 211.Screws 14 extend throughconnection tubes 13 extending from an inside of thecase 40 and are threadedly connected to thetubes 211 of thefirst members 21. A plurality ofsecond members 22 each have ahole 221 defined therethrough which is located in alignment with aplastic sleeve 23 which is inserted inholes 31 drilled in thewall 30.Screws 24 extend through theholes 221 of thesecond members 22 and screw into theplastic sleeves 23 to fix thesecond members 22 on thewall 30. Each of thesecond members 22 has twoextension plate 222 extending from two sides thereof so as to define twogrooves 223 between the second member and theextension plates 222. Twostops 224 extend from each of thesecond members 22 and located at an end of thegroove 223. Two sides of each of thefirst members 21 are slidably engaged with the twogrooves 223 and the two stops 224 stop the two side of thefirst member 21 from dropping out from thegrooves 223. -
FIG. 4 shows anther embodiment of the engagement of thefirst member 21 and thesecond member 22, wherein each of thefirst member 21 has adent 212 defined in a side opposite to the side having thetube 211 and each of thesecond member 22 has aboss 225 which is engaged with thedent 212 to further position thefirst member 21 to thesecond member 22. -
FIG. 5 shows thatfurther bolts 25 extend through thecase 40 and are connected to the wall so as to more securely connect thecase 10 to thewall 30. - While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Claims (8)
1. A tool holder comprising:
a case (10) having a plurality of hollow protrusions extending from a front side thereof and recesses (11) defined between the protrusions, each protrusion having a clamping member (12) received therein;
a plurality of first members (21) fixed to a rear side of the case (10), and
a plurality of second members (22) adapted to be fixed on a wall (30) and the first members (21) slidably connected to the second members (22).
2. The holder as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the second members (22) has two extension plate (222) connected to two sides thereof and two grooves (223) are defined between the second member and the extension plates (222), two sides of each of the first members (21) slidably engaged with the two grooves (223).
3. The holder as claimed in claim 2 , wherein two stops (224) extend from each of the second members (22) and stop the two side of the first member (21) from dropping out from the grooves (223).
4. The holder as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the first members (21) has a tube (211) extending from a side thereof and screws (14) extend through the case (10) and are threadedly connected to the tubes (211) of the first members (21).
5. The holder as claimed in claim 1 , wherein an inclined board (102) is fixed in each of the protrusion and includes two rails (103), each clamping member (12) having two grooves (122) with which the rails (103) are engaged.
6. The holder as claimed in claim 1 , wherein two elongate slots (101) are defined in two opposite insides of each of the protrusion and each clamping member (12) includes two rods (123) extending from two ends thereof, the two rods (123) movably engaged with the two slots (101).
7. The holder as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the first member (21) has a dent (212) defined in a side thereof and each of the second member (22) has a boss (225) which is engaged with the dent (212) to position the first member (21) to the second member (22).
8. The holder as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the clamping member (12) has a friction portion (121) wrapped thereon.
