Definitions
- Applicant seeks to be express that this application not be limited or constrained by the provisional application referred to above.
- the stroller chair is a new and useful article of manufacture which would provide an entirely new convenience and function for persons using the invention.
- the stroller chair is a lightweight stroller that easily converts into a chair for an adult to sit in.
- the unit is collapsible for storage in a car trunk or backseat, and has its own storage capacity for diapers, blankets, snacks, etc.
- the purpose is that when the toddler is out of the chair, the adult can sit comfortably. Use is designed for the beach, the park and anywhere toddlers play while a caretaker waits.

- the stroller chair is a lightweight “butterfly” stroller with all the traditional features of a stroller. For example, it collapses for easy storage, has a chair and straps to secure a toddler, has storage pockets, wheels, and handles for pushing the toddler.
- the stroller chair is distinguished from current strollers in that the stroller chair converts from a baby stroller to a comfortable adult chair.
- the stroller chair has a seat which can support an adult.
- the seat folds out of the way when the toddler is in the stroller and folds into position and locks onto the frame when the adult uses the chair.
- the frame would be engineered to support a heavy adult and would be durable for repeated and long term use.
- the frame material will probably be reinforced steel although other durable lightweight framing materials would be considered.
- the material would be a synthetic man-made material common in the stroller and outdoor sporting goods industry. It would be waterproof, durable, comfortable and lightweight.
Abstract
The stroller chair is a stroller which has an attached or attachable adult seat. The seat may fold over from the back of the stroller and lock into place. In the alternative, the seat is carried in the storage space and locked into place. If no child is being transported, the base storage invades the child's space for more storage capacity. There is also storage on the handlebars and on the back of the stroller.
