Abstract
A vehicle mat includes an irregular layer having a plurality of irregular wires and apertures defined between the irregular wires, and a base on which the irregular layer is connected. A plurality of support protrusions extend from a top of the base and a plurality of anti-slip protrusions extend from an underside of the base. A deformable frame is connected to the base and encloses the base.
Description
- The present invention relates to a vehicle mat having a deformable frame enclosing the base so that the shape of the mat can be easily set to meet the requirements before being installed in a car.
- A conventional vehicle mat is shown in
FIG. 1 and generally includes anirregular layer 10 and abase 20 on which theirregular layer 10 is fixed. Theirregular layer 10 is composed of a plurality ofirregular wires 101 so that a plurality ofapertures 102 are defined between thewires 101. By theapertures 102 when the user's shoes scrub on theirregular layer 10, foreign objects can be scraped from the shoes and collected on thebase 20 through theapertures 102. Two Velcrobelts irregular layer 10 and thebase 20 so that theirregular layer 10 and thebase 20 can be connected with each other. However, theirregular wires 101 are pulled out from theirregular layer 10 after a period of time of use and the number ofapertures 102 are reduced so that the term of use of the conventional mat is short. Besides, because theirregular layer 10 and thebase 20 are soft so that theconventional mat 10 cannot fixed its shape which is to be matched with the space of vehicles of different sizes. Therefore, the periphery of themat 10 folds upward and inward and could tangle the user's feet. - The present invention intends to provide a vehicle mat which includes an irregular layer connected on a base and a deformable frame encloses the base so that the mat is deformed and set its shape to meet the space that is to be installed with the mat.
- The present invention relates to a vehicle mat which includes an irregular layer having a plurality of irregular wires and apertures are defined between the irregular wires. The irregular layer is connected on a base by Velcro belts on the irregular layer and the base. A plurality of support protrusions extend from a top of the base and a plurality of anti-slip protrusions extend from an underside of the base. A deformable frame is connected to the base and encloses the base.
- The primary object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle mat that can be easily set its shape by the deformable frame enclosing the base so that the mat can be easily set to fit the space of different cars.
- The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
-
FIG. 1 is a cross sectional view to show a conventional vehicle mat; -
FIG. 2 is an exploded view to show the vehicle mat of the present invention; -
FIG. 3 shows the irregular layer and the base of the vehicle mat of the present invention; -
FIG. 4 is a perspective view to show the vehicle mat of the present invention, and -
FIG. 5 is a cross sectional view to show the vehicle mat of the present invention. - Referring to FIGS. 2 to 5, the vehicle mat of the present invention comprises a an
irregular layer 1 having a plurality ofirregular wires 11 and a plurality ofapertures 111 are defined between theirregular wires 11. Theirregular layer 1 can be made of Polyurethane (PU), Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Polypropylene (PP) or Poly-functional Compound (PC). Theirregular wires 11 of theirregular layer 1 can be made of rubber, plastic, leather or fabrics. - A
base 2 on which theirregular layer 11 is connected and thebase 2 can be made by rubber. A plurality ofsupport protrusions 21 extend from a top of thebase 2 so as to define multiple spaces between thesupport protrusions 21, thebase 2 and theirregular layer 11. The spaces make the mat to be soft and includes cushion feature. A plurality ofanti-slip protrusions 22 extend from an underside of thebase 2 so that the mat can be well positioned. Two Velcrobelts irregular layer 1 and thebase 2 so that theirregular layer 1 and thebase 2 are connected with each other by the two Velcrobelts - A
deformable frame 24 made of metal material such as steel is connected to thebase 2 and encloses thebase 2. - Before installing the mat into a car, the user may bend the
deformable frame 24 to set a desired shape of the mat so that the mat can easily fit the space to be installed. The periphery of the mat has a certain level of stiffness so that it does not fold upward and can be smoothly matched with the interior of the space to be installed. Theirregular layer 1 and thebase 2 can be easily separated by separating the two Velcrobelts - While we have shown and described the embodiment in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
