Abstract
An air permeable mobile insole including a plastic layer and an air permeable woven layer covering up the plastic layer; multiple ventilation pores are disposed in consistent arrangement on the plastic layer; and a first groove connecting to the ambient air is formed between any two neighboring pores; a wall is molded protruding from the outer edge of the plastic layer; and multiple ventilation pores or multiple second grooves connecting through first grooves are disposed on the side of the wall not covered with the woven layer so to allow each ventilation pore communicating with the ambient air through the grooves to realize sufficient air circulation and fully removal of the odor.
Description
- (a) Field of the Invention
- The present invention is related to an air unit, and more particularly, to an air permeable mobile insole.
- (b) Description of the Prior Art
- Insoles generally available in the market are each essentially comprised of two layers of a plastic layer made of EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) or polyurethane (PU) foamed material and a woven layer adhered to the surface of the EVA layer. However, EVA or PU possess poor air permeability and the user wearing a pair of shoes with EVA or PU insole for a prolonged walking will develop odor from both feet, and that even presents a serious problem for those who sweats easily on both feet. Continuous efforts have been put to improve promote air permeability efficacy of the insole while increasing the wearing comfort of the footwear such as an air permeable insole published in Taiwan Gazette No. 90225551. The insole disclosed is essentially comprised of two sheets of foamed material adhered to each other and then processed and cut into shape. Multiple grooves to permit ventilation are disposed on the surface of the lower layer with each groove running through the outer edge of the insole to the terminal of the insole; a gap is disposed to the outer edge of the insole where the groove is provided; and the tail of the insole extends up to where close to the shoe opening above the heel so to prevent the ventilation passage from being blocked by the inner edge of the shoe to facilitate full ventilation. However, all the grooves are located on the bottom of the entire insole to prevent from realizing vertical ventilation; as a result, it becomes very difficult to eliminate the odor in the shoe since the odor is trapped in the shoe.
- The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide an air permeable mobile insole in an even reasonable construction to correct the ventilation deficiency found with the prior art. To achieve the purpose, the present invention includes an EVA base layer and an air permeable woven layer attached onto the EVA layer. Multiple ventilation pores arranged in a consistent pattern are disposed on the EVA layer and a first groove connecting through the ambient air is molded between any two neighboring pores. A protruded wall is molded to the wall of the EVA layer and multiple ventilation pores or a second groove connecting through each first groove are disposed on the side of the wall not covered with the woven layer.
- Whereas those ventilation pores are directly disposed on the insole and the woven layer is made of air permeable fabric, air current is allowed to vertically circulate through the woven layer and multiple ventilation pores. Meanwhile, as the weight of the wearer compresses the bottom of the EVA layer to the sole, those interconnecting first grooves disposed among ventilation pores to facilitate smooth exhaust of the air current allows each ventilation pore to connect through the ambient air by means of the first groove thus to realize air circulation to completely exhaust the odor.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing a local part of the preferred embodiment of the present invention. - The present invention is related to an air permeable mobile insole to be placed in the shoe for improving wearing comfort and air permeability of the shoe.
- As illustrated in
FIGS. 1 , 2, and 3, a preferred embodiment of the present invention is comprised of aplastic layer 1 and an airpermeable woven layer 2 covering up theplastic layer 1. Theplastic layer 1 may be made of EVA, PU, PVC, TPR, or rubber material; and thewoven layer 2 may be made of cotton, or hempen plane fabric, or printed fabric in a construction not only capable of sweat absorption but also providing good air permeability. In addition, thewoven layer 2 may be blended or combined with far infrared material, or treated with optical catalyst to further add anti-bacterial, de-odorizing and de-contamination effects. -
Multiple ventilation pores 11 are consistently distributed on the plastic layer and multiplefirst grooves 12 interconnecting to one another are each disposed between any two neighboringventilation pores 11. As illustrated inFIG. 4 , the depth of thefirst groove 12 is approximately equal to half of that of the ventilation pore for theventilation pore 11 to connect through the ambient air by passing through thefirst groove 12 to upgrade air permeability efficacy of the insole as indicated by an arrow B inFIG. 4 . With the presence of those multiplefirst grooves 12 through the entire plastic layer while connecting through allventilation pores 11, the wearer of the shoes is having his/her body always compressing theplastic layer 1 for the air current trapped in the shoe to be squeezed and expelled to maintain unobstructed airflow in the shoe for the space in the shoe to be kept in dry and odorless status. - To improve wearing comforts, a
wall 13 protruding from the edge of theplastic layer 1 is molded as illustrated inFIGS. 1 , 2, and 3. -
Multiple ventilation pores 11 are disposed or asecond groove 14 is disposed connecting through thefirst groove 12 on the side of thewall 13 not covered up by thewoven layer 2. With the presence of thesecond groove 14, an area between thewall 13 and the inner surface of the shoe is prevented from being fully adhered to each other so that the airflow in the insole is capable of being expelled from thewall 13 through thesecond groove 14 in time. Accordingly, the airflow at the bottom of the insole is kept a well-facilitated communication with the ambient air to effectively expel the airflow in the insole. - Whereas those
multiple ventilation pores 11 are directly disposed on the insole and thewoven layer 2 is made of air permeable material, is the airflow directly enters into thoseventilation pores 11 through thewoven layer 2 to realize vertical ventilation as indicated by an arrow C inFIG. 4 . Meanwhile, thefirst groove 12 connecting through each pair of neighboringventilation pores 11 is capable of communicating with the ambient air to completely force out odor that may develop in the shoes. - The prevent invention provides an improved structure of an air permeable mobile insole, and the application for a utility patent is duly filed accordingly. However, it is to be noted that the preferred embodiments disclosed in the specification and the accompanying drawings are not limiting the present invention; and that any construction, installation, or characteristics that is same or similar to that of the present invention should fall within the scope of the purposes and claims of the present invention.
Claims (3)
1. An air permeable mobile insole including a plastic layer and an air permeable woven layer covering up the plastic layer; multiple ventilation pores are disposed in consistent arrangement on the plastic layer; and a first groove connecting to the ambient air is formed between any two neighboring ventilation pores.
2. The air permeable mobile insole as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the wall of the plastic layer is molded with a protruded side; and multiple ventilation pores or multiple second groove connecting through the first grooves are disposed on the surface of the side of the wall not covered with the woven layer.
3. The air permeable mobile insole as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first groove penetrates the entire plastic layer and connects through those multiple ventilation pores disposed in the plastic layer.
