Abstract

The present invention discloses an improved hair clip structure that includes left and right clamping bases, a positioning pin, a spring and a decorating cover. A chamber and a guiding slot of the decorating cover are provided for containing the spring and its tip correspondingly, and the positioning pin is provided for fixing the decorating cover wrapped by the spring appropriately to an internal side of a force applying wing of the left and right clamping bases, such that the installation of the decorating cover can prevent the spring from being exposed directly to the air and rusted easily, and also can provide a safety effect. The invention enhances the overall artistic appearance of the hair clip and provides more diversified stylish designs of the hair clip.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Fields of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to an improved hair clip structure, and more particularly to a structure that provides more artistic designs of the hair clip and includes a decorating cover for providing a safe and strong hair clip structure.
  • 2. Description of the Related Art
  • Referring to FIG. 5 for a schematic view of a conventional hair clip, the hair clip comprises two corresponding left and right clamping bases 10, 20 engaged with each other, a plurality of positioning claws 11, 21 disposed equidistantly and correspondingly at a lower end of the left and right clamping bases 10, 20, a plurality of plate-like force applying wings 12, 22 extended outward from an upper end of the left and right clamping bases 10, 20, a positioning base 121, 221 extended from the corresponding sides of the force applying wing 12, 22, a through hole 1210 disposed at the center of each positioning base 121, 221 and passed with a position pin 30 of a spring 40, such that the left and right clamping bases 10, 20 can be installed correspondingly, and tips 41, 42 at both ends of the spring 40 can be pressed against the force applying wings 12, 22 at internal sides of the positioning bases 121, 221 of the left and right clamping bases 10, 20. When a user uses the hair clip, the user presses the external sides of the two force applying wings 12, 22 inward, so that the spring 40 will be in a compressed state. If the user wants to release the pressure exerted on the hair clip, the user can release the spring 40 and both tips 41, 41 of the spring 40 will release the resilience of the force applying wing 12, and the hair clip will be in a clamped state, and finally the spring 40 will resume its free state.
  • In the conventional hair clip structure, the spring is exposed directly to the air, and the hair clip may be rusted easily after a long time of use. As a result, the artistic appearance of the hair clip will be affected adversely, and both tips of the spring will be aged easily and unable to provide a complete engagement of the force applying wings. Furthermore, users may be scraped by the tip when they use the hair clip, or the hair of users may be curled into the spring, and thus such application cannot meet the user's requirements.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • In view of the foregoing shortcomings of the prior art, the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience in the related industry to conduct extensive researches and experiments, and finally invented a hair clip structure in accordance with the present invention.
  • It is a primary object of the invention to provide an improved hair clip structure, in hope of providing a safe hair clip with more diversified stylish appearances.
  • To make it easier for our examiner to understand the technical skills, means, objectives, characteristics and performance of the present invention, a preferred embodiment together with the attached drawings are used for the detailed description of the present invention.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The accomplishment of this and other objects of the invention will become apparent from the following description and its accompanying drawings of which:
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a hair clip structure of the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is an exploded view of a hair clip structure of the present invention;
  • FIG. 3 is another side view of movements of a hair clip of the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is a side view of movements of a hair clip of the present invention; and
  • FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a conventional hair clip structure.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2 for a perspective view and an exploded view of a hair clip structure of the present invention respectively, the common structure between the prior art and the present invention will not be described here, and the improvement of the present invention is characterized in that grooves 122, 222 are formed on the internal sides of positioning bases 121, 221 of left and right clamping bases 10, 20 that press tips 41, 42 against force applying wings 12, 22 respectively for installing a decorative cover 50.
  • The decorating cover 50 is formed integrally and comprises a base 51 substantially in the shape of a numeral “6” and disposed at an end of the decorating cover, a chamber 52 formed inside a lateral side of the base 51, a through hole 53 disposed at the center of a distal end of the base 51, a guide slot 54 formed at the center of a distal end of the base 51 and interconnected to the chamber 52, and a thin decorating plate 55 in any shape extended from the base 51 on the guide slot.
  • For installation, the chambers 52 of the two decorating covers 59 are aligned with two distal surfaces of the spring 40, and both tips 41, 42 are contained in the corresponding guide slots 54, and the spring 40 is wrapped by the decorating cover and installed to the corresponding positions of the grooves 122, 222, and a positioning pin 30 is passed through a through hole 1210, 2210 of the positioning base 121, 221 and a through hole 53 of the decorating cover 50 and fixed to the positioning base 121, 221 at another side, such that the upper end of the hair clip in the clamped state can be covered by the decorating cover 50. For use, the operation of the present invention is exactly the same as that of the prior art (refer to FIGS. 3 and 4), wherein the force applying wings 12, 22 of the left and right clamping bases 10, 20 are pressed to define a compressed state of the spring by the action of the two corresponding decorating covers 50. If the pressure exerted onto the two force applying wings 12, 22 is released, the spring 40 of the hair clip will resume its free state. The decorating cover 50 can come with different innovative changes for a decorating plate 55, so that the stylish look of the hair clip can be changed frequently.
  • In summation of the description above, the present invention has the following advantages over the prior art:
    • 1. With the installation of the decorating cover in the hair clip structure of the invention, the spring can be wrapped by the decorating cover to provide an overall artistic look of the hair clip and allow more diversified artistic designs of the hair clip.
    • 2. The decorating cover can be installed appropriately outside the spring, not just giving an artistic look to the hair clip only, but also preventing the spring from being exposed directly to the air or rusted easily.
    • 3. In addition to the spring being contained in the chamber of the decorating cover, the guide slot also can accommodate the tips of the spring to prevent users from being scraped by the tips, or the user's hair from being curled into the spring, so as to provide a safer application.
  • In summation of the above description, the present invention herein enhances the performance than the conventional structure and further complies with the patent application requirements and is submitted duly for the patent application.
  • While the invention has been described by means of specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims.
