Abstract

The Open Easy Envelope is a very easy to use system. The Open Easy Envelope has a difference between the other inventions invented because it can be used on any type of Envelope, added just a new string feature to the envelope creating machine. A nylon string is attached about 0.5 mm higher then the fold line with a thin layer of glue. On each comer of the envelope are very small knots very close to the edge. As the String is pulled it opens the envelope easily or the string can be without a knot extending out of the envelope just a little bit. Also there will be a dotted line on the flap just about 2 mm below the fold horizontally. As the dotted lines are ripped just a little the string is left in the hands. The reason the string is put 0.5 mm higher then the fold line is because when the envelope is folded the string does not get in the way. The same processes can be used on the bottom and right sides of the envelope.

Description

  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • When receiving mail the opener has a hard time opening the mail. At times the company addresses will rip or even the stamp itself. The system used in our invention is easy to use and will come in handy weather your opening 10 pieces of mail or 1000. When the receiver receives their mail, they will see a small knot on the end of the envelopes. Curiously they will want to know what it is. As they pull on the string the envelope will open. This process will help not only with opening mail but with advertising too. Curiously opening the mail the receiver will have to check inside too.
  • From the U.S Pat. No. 5,984,170 uses a system where the string is attached to the envelope with a sticker. Also the string is long. The system and processes used in this invention is unsafe because the string that comes from the bottom of the envelope and attaches to the back with a sticker can be caught while the mail is being delivered and will cause the envelope to tear open which causes the receivers mail to be lost. Also as the machines in the shop are putting advertisements and even letters inside the envelope the string may get caught causing the envelope to open. Inside the post office as the envelope goes through the scanner the envelope may open if the string gets caught.
  • The process used in the above invention will require changes to the machines in order to get the system working. In our invention machines do not have to be changed.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • Only one new feature is added to envelope creating machines. Envelopes can still be created in the same sizes and styles as before except with a new string feature added to the flap. The String can be fishing line, Bended Nylon or regular string. Also another style of Open Easy Envelope, that uses dotted lines a little lower from the top of the envelope going horizontal.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • As can see on FIG. 1 (#2) the string is attached 0.5 mm higher then, the flap line, this is done so that the envelope is folded completely without any problem. As the knot is pulled (#1) the string falls into place right on the flap line and gives a clean cut. When the string is placed on the flap line the envelope will not close completely which is why it is higher then the flap line. The knot (#1) has to extend out of the envelope (FIG. 3) so that the receiver can see the string. As seen on FIG. 2 the same process is done with a small change. The string (#2) is attached again about 0.5 mm higher then the flap line. The only difference with this is that the string (#4) is extended out of the envelope about 2 mm without a knot and a dotted line (#5) Both FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 process can be done on the right, left or bottom of the envelope. As seen on FIG. 4 (#5) the dotted line shows, which is about 3 mm long from both sides. The dotted line is about 1.5 mm below the flap line. The reason the dotted line (#5) is placed about 3 mm lower then the flap is because when the dotted line is cut it does not rip the letter inside. All the processes done from FIG. 1 and 3, the machine cuts the envelopes, and then it places the string with a thin layer of glue. The string can be attached with glue on both sides and the middle. For FIG. 2 and 4 the string is attached in the same way as FIG. 1 and 3 except after the string is placed and the envelope is folded the machine stamps the cut line on the envelope and then it is packaged.

Claims (1)

1. Open Easy Envelope invention is used by a fishing line or Bended Nylon String glued to the bottom of the flap line (FIG. 1 #3). The String can be attached with three points, the middle, left side or right side of the flap line. The String may also be attached from one end of the flap line to the other (FIG. 1 #3). On both ends of the String are small knots for easy grab and open. The knots on the end of the envelope do not exceed the envelope to much (FIG. 1 #8). The purpose of the short end is developed so that the envelope is not opened while being mailed or received. The knot may be attached on the bottom corners of the flap line where there are no glues (FIG. 1A #8A). These processes may also be done without a knot (FIG. 1C). On each corner of the flap there is a dotted line (FIG. 1A #11A). The dotted lines on each end of the flap line are ripped to pull the string (FIG. 1B).
