  • This application relates to apparel, shoe and accessories striping, style, and design.
  • Shoe, apparel and accessories manufacturers, distribute and sell to their consumers, products, which have stripes and or logos.
  • The purpose of the stripes and logo upon the products is two fold:
      • 1. To accentuate the style and design of the product for eye appeal.
      • 2. To link and build association connection and recognition of a particular brand manufacturer.
  • Currently in existence are several such manufacturers of products using and bearing stripes and logos.

  • 9B Show the stripe being removed. The dots show the path of movement from or to the article base.
  • Originally these stripes, designs, and logos were permanently affixed by the manufacturer of the garment shoe or accessory, immovable and unchangeable by the consumer or user.
  • Thereafter, prior works were invented to grant the end user more flexibility and creativity in their shoe, apparel and accessory usage.
  • At least two attempts at customization were made. For example, U.S. patent application Ser. No. 10/896,393 came the closest to stripe customization. This custom stripe requires slots. The problem with this is that it is more complex than mine, requiring the. tying down and fastening of the stripe, making it's use more tedious and cumbersome whereas my version is an extremely simple tough and go—merely pulling up the stripe or pressing it down.
  • The other attempt was U.S. patent application Ser. No. 09/949,403, The Removable Tongue. The problem with this invention is that it is limited to only the tongue of the shoe, where as my invention allows for the changing and customization of the entire shoe.
  • SUMMARY
  • In accordance with one embodiment an article of wear, shoe or accessory sufficient for humans whereas a piece of garment designated as a stripe can be joined, removed changed from the garment.

  • Numbers 1, 2, 3 illustrate the receiving aspect of the adhesion process for numbers 4, 5 and 6.
  • Numbers 7 a, 7 b, 8 a, 9 a and 9 b are dotted lines indicating the path of travel of the said stripes, panels and logos both to and from the said shoe, garment or accessory.
