Abstract

The present invention is a durable yet disposable plastic sock with an expandable opening designed to enclose foot care products allowing user to receive foot care treatments while granting mobility during the process.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is in the technical field of skin care products. More particularly, the present invention is in the technical field of skin moisturizing products. More particularly, the present invention is in the technical field of foot moisturizing products.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Current foot care treatments on the market consume a great deal of time and effort to get professional pedicure results. They do not allow for mobility and users are confined to a chair while treating their feet with these products. Many foot soaps designed to moisturize actually dry out skin and many foot creams do not provide adequate hydration to keep skin moisturized. Other shortcomings include the opposite end of the spectrum; messy and greasy moisturizers that cause feet to become slippery on smooth surfaces and can damage clothing and carpet.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention is a durable and disposable plastic sock with an elastic opening which grips snugly above the ankle keeping liquids concealed and contained around feet. This allows feet to soak in a formulated foot treatment while granting mobility without any spills or leaks.
  • This product is designed to be worn with insulated slippers, boots or shoes which provide two purposes; heating and bonding skin treatments to the skin by use of natural body temperature as well as providing traction to allow safe mobility indoors as well as outdoors.
  • The skin treatments intended to be used with this sock consist of foot ointments, heated wax, foot soak products, clay masks, lotions, moisturizers and any oil based or liquid form foot treatments that can be concealed in the plastic socks.
  • LIST OF FIGURES
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the physical components of the design of the foot moisturizing sock.
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective demonstrative view of a foot inserted into the plastic sock of the present invention.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF ENBODIMENTS
  • FIG. 1-A is a perspective view of the elastic opening of the foot moisturizing sock
  • FIG. 1-B is a perspective demonstrative view of the embodiment of the foot moisturizing sock compromising of water proof plastic.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • In more detail, still referring to the invention of FIG. 1, the expandable elastic opening A is where formulated foot soak is to be poured into the sock. The elastic opening A will grip snugly above the ankle keeping liquids concealed and contained around feet.
  • In further detail, still referring to the invention of FIG. 1, the plastic sock is a one-size fits all. The elastic opening A expands proportionately to allow a foot to be inserted inside then contracts tightly around the ankle to keep liquids enclosed in the sock.
  • The construction details of the invention as shown in FIG. 1 point B is the body of the sock which is to be made from a durable plastic. The elastic opening A is to be made from expandable elastic which is permanently inserted into the opening of the plastic body B of the sock.
  • The advantages of the present invention include, without limitation, mobility allowed to the user without leaks or spills of foot treatment onto clothing or carpet. This will allow the user to occupy his/her time with other tasks while receiving professional pedicure treatment results. As the invention is disposable, the user does not need to hassle with cleaning the sock. Insulated slippers, boots or shoes (FIG. 3) shall be recommended to be worn over the plastic socks to provide traction when walking for personal safety as well as insulating body temperature into plastic sock allowing compounds in treatments to bond with skin.
  • The overall intended purpose of the foot moisturizing sock is to aid in hydration and moisturizing of feet, however this invention can also be used for foot/skin healing and protection purposes or procedures in the general skin care, foot care and health care industries.
  • The drawings display a one size fits all design however this invention can be manufactured in various sizes aiding the needs of individual consumers.
  • In broad embodiment, the present invention is a disposable plastic sock with an elastic opening.
  • While the foregoing written description of the invention enables one of ordinary skill to make and use what is considered presently to be the best mode thereof, those of ordinary skill will understand and appreciate the existence of variations, combinations, and equivalents of the specific embodiment, method, and examples herein. The invention should therefore not be limited by the above described embodiment, method, and examples, but by all embodiments and methods within the scope and spirit of the invention as claimed.
