Abstract

An expandable clothing includes two cloth members, and an expandable element secured between the cloth members and having a resilience greater than that of the cloth members for allowing the clothing to be expanded to fit various users having different sizes or dimensions. The clothing may be selected from pants, trousers, skirts or shorts, sweaters, shirts, jackets or coats or the like having two tubular pant-legs or two sleeves for accommodating or receiving the legs or the feet, or the hands of the users. The expandable elements may be attached to the inner portions or the side portions of the pant-legs or the sleeves, or attached to the rear portion of the coat.

Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to an expandable garment or pant or clothing, and more particularly to an expandable garment or pant or clothing including one or more expandable components or portions for allowing the garment or pant or clothing to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different sizes or dimensions.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Typical garments, clothing, clothes, pants, or the like comprise a clothing body for receiving and for engaging onto the upper portions or the lower portions of the users, and comprise one or more tubular sleeves, pant-legs for accommodating or receiving the hands, the legs or the feet of the users.
  • Normally, the clothing body and the tubular sleeves and the pant-legs include a predetermined size or dimension for fitting or for engaging with the users of a predetermined size or dimension, but may not be provided for fitting or for engaging with the users of different sizes or dimensions.
  • However, the users may have different buttock portions, leg portions, hip portions, portions, groin portions, inguinal portions, chest portions, shoulder portions, or other portions that include different sizes or dimensions, such that the clothing or clothes having the same neck size or dimension may not fit all of the users, and the pants having the same waist size or dimension also may not fit all of the users.
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages of the conventional garments, clothing, clothes, or pants. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an expandable clothing including one or more expandable components or tubular portions for allowing the clothing to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different sizes or dimensions.
  • The other objective of the present invention is to provide an expandable clothing selected from pants, trousers, skirts or shorts, sweaters, shirts, jackets or coats or the like having two tubular pant-legs or two sleeves for accommodating or receiving the legs or the feet, or the hands of the users, and having the expandable elements for allowing the pant-legs or the sleeves to be expanded to fit various users having different leg or buttock or hand or arm sizes or dimensions.
  • In accordance with one aspect of the invention, there is provided an expandable clothing comprising two cloth members, and an expandable element secured between the cloth members and including a resilience greater than that of the cloth members for allowing the clothing to be expanded to fit various users having different sizes or dimensions.
  • The clothing may be selected from a pant having two tubular pant-legs and having the cloth members provided on a front portion and a rear portion of the pant-legs. The expandable elements are attached to inner portions of the pant-legs and secured between the cloth members.
  • The pant includes an upper portion, and an expandable segment extended in the upper portion of the pant. The expandable elements are attached to side portions of the pant-legs and secured between the cloth members.
  • The clothing may be selected from a shirt having the expandable elements attached to side portions and secured between the cloth members. The shirt includes two sleeves, and an expandable segment extended to each of the sleeves for allowing the sleeves to be expanded to fit various users having different hand sizes or dimensions.
  • The clothing may be selected from a coat having the expandable element attached to a rear portion thereof for allowing the coat to be expanded to fit various users having different body sizes or dimensions.
  • Further objectives and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from a careful reading of the detailed description provided hereinbelow, with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • Referring to the drawings, and initially to FIGS. 1-9, an expandable clothing 1 in accordance with the present invention may be selected from any suits, dresses or clothing members, such as trousers or pants 10 (FIGS. 1-5), skirts or shorts 40 (FIG. 6), sweaters, shirts 50 (FIGS. 7-8), jackets or coats 60 (FIG. 9), or the like, for example, as shown in FIGS. 1-5, the pant 10 of the clothing 1 comprises a pant body or an upper portion 11, and two tubular pant- legs 12, 13 extended outwardly from the upper portion 11 of the pant 10 for receiving the legs or the feet of the users, and the pant- legs 12, 13 each include two primary cloth members 14, 16; 15, 17, such as a front cloth member 14, 15 and a rear cloth member 16, 17, in which the cloth members 14-17 are preferably made of non-expandable woven or nonwoven cloth materials. The above-described structure is typical and will not be described in further details.
  • The pant 10 of the clothing 1 further comprises a flexible or resilient or expandable or secondary strap or element 20 attached to each of the pant- legs 12, 13 with such as stitches 21, such as attached to the inner portion of each of the pant-legs 12, 13 (FIGS. 1-3), and coupled or secured between the front cloth members 14, 15 and the rear cloth member 16, 17 with the stitches 21 (FIG. 3) for allowing the pant- legs 12, 13 to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different leg sizes or dimensions. It is preferable, but not necessarily that the pant 10 of the clothing 1 further includes a flexible or resilient or expandable segment 22 extended from or coupled to the secondary strap or elements 20 and extended or provided in the rear portion of the pant body or upper portion 11 of the pant 10 (FIG. 2) for allowing the pant body or upper portion 11 of the pant 10 also to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different buttock sizes or dimensions.
  • As shown in FIGS. 4-5, the pant 10 of the clothing 1 may further comprise an additional flexible or resilient or expandable or secondary strap or element 23 attached to each of the side portions of the pant- legs 12, 13 and/or of the pant body or upper portion 11 of the pant 10 with such as stitches 21, and also coupled or secured between the front cloth members 14, 15 and the rear cloth member 16, 17 with the stitches 21 for allowing the pant- legs 12, 13 to be further suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different leg sizes or dimensions. As shown in FIG. 6, the short 40 of the clothing 1 may also include an additional flexible or resilient or expandable or secondary strap or element 41 attached to each of the side portions thereof, and also coupled or secured between the front cloth members 42 and the rear cloth member 43 with such as the stitches 44 for allowing the short 40 to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different leg sizes or dimensions.
  • As shown in FIGS. 7-8, the shirt 50 of the clothing 1 may also include a shirt body 51 having a flexible or resilient or expandable or secondary strap or element 52 attached to each of the side portions of the shirt body 51 and also coupled or secured between the front cloth members 53 and the rear cloth member 54 with such as the stitches 55 for allowing the shirt 50 to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different body sizes or dimensions, and may further include a flexible or resilient or expandable segment 56 extended from or coupled to the expandable strap or elements 52 and/or extended or provided in the outer or inner portion of each of the sleeves 57 for allowing the sleeves 57 to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different hand or arm sizes or dimensions.
  • As shown in FIG. 9, the jacket or coat 60 may include a rear portion 61 having a flexible or resilient or expandable or secondary strap or element 62 attached to the middle portion of the rear portion 61 of the jacket or coat 60 with such as the stitches 63 for allowing the jacket or coat 60 to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different body sizes or dimensions. It is preferable that the secondary straps or elements 20, 23, 41, 52, 62 are made of air permeable materials for air permeating purposes, and include a resilience greater or better than that of the primary cloth members 14-17, 42-43, 53-54 for allowing the clothing 1 to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different body sizes or dimensions.
  • Accordingly, the expandable clothing in accordance with the present invention includes one or more expandable components or portions or elements for allowing the clothing to be suitably retracted or expanded to fit various users having different sizes or dimensions.
  • Although this invention has been described with a certain degree of particularity, it is to be understood that the present disclosure has been made by way of example only and that numerous changes in the detailed construction and the combination and arrangement of parts may be resorted to without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

Claims (8)

1. An expandable clothing comprising:
two cloth members, and
an expandable element secured between said cloth members and including a resilience greater than that of said cloth members for allowing said clothing to be expanded to fit various users having different sizes or dimensions.
2. The expandable clothing as claimed in claim 1, wherein said clothing is a pant having two tubular pant-legs and having said cloth members provided on a front portion and a rear portion of said pant-legs.
3. The expandable clothing as claimed in claim 2, wherein said expandable elements are attached to inner portions of said pant-legs and secured between said cloth members.
4. The expandable clothing as claimed in claim 2, wherein said pant includes an upper portion, and an expandable segment extended in said upper portion of said pant.
5. The expandable clothing as claimed in claim 2, wherein said expandable elements are attached to side portions of said pant-legs and secured between said cloth members.
6. The expandable clothing as claimed in claim 1, wherein said clothing is a shirt having said expandable elements attached to side portions and secured between said cloth members.
7. The expandable clothing as claimed in claim 6, wherein said shirt includes two sleeves, and an expandable segment extended to each of said sleeves for allowing said sleeves to be expanded to fit various users having different hand sizes or dimensions.
8. The expandable clothing as claimed in claim 1, wherein said clothing is a coat having said expandable element attached to a rear portion thereof.
