Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention generally relates to an improved structure for a sport board, more particularly to a sport board structure which is assembled by a hardened layer and a special assembling method.
  • 2. Description of the Prior Art
  • Water sports are always attractive, especially the earth temperature is increasing gradually. Taiwan in the subtropical zone is now approaching 37-38° C. in summer in the recent years, and Europe and North America are sometimes more than 40° C. So that, water sports are more popular than ever, more particularly to the sea sports.
  • Although the sea sports in summer are more year and year, surfing in either Europe or North America is popular all the year as well, therefore the sea sports may not be disappeared due to cold weather. Additionally, following the conditions of water sports in inland lakes and sea activities being increased, the safety to water sport devices or lifesaving devices is relatively promoted.
  • Snowboard and turfski, applied on the land, are more and more; additionally, such sports may not be limited by that of going to beaches or places close to inland lakes, so that the sports on the land are easily accepted by customers. On the contrary, a medium where the snowboard or turfski is on is much harder than water, the safety is more important relatively, wherein the medium can be a snow field or a grass.
  • With references to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, which illustrate a schematic exploded view of a structure for a sport board in prior arts and a schematic complete sectional view of the structure for the sport board in prior arts. As shown in the two figures, a sport board 5 includes a first layer 51, a second layer 52 and a third layer 53; wherein the first layer 51 and third layer 53 are made of low density foam materials, the second layer 52 is made of high density foam materials.
  • On the other hand, a method for assembling the structure for the sport board includes the steps of: (1) pressing and gluing the first layer 51, second layer 52 and third layer 53 by hands; (2) keeping pressing for a period of time, and waiting for concreting; (3) machining glue residues; (4) grinding tiny residues; and (5) sticking waterproof rims for water leaking into the layers.
  • As a conclusion based on aforesaid method, there are three shortcomings listed below:
    • (1) The steps of pressing and gluing by hands and keeping pressing for a period of time are obviously increasing manufacturing cost, and the effect of gluing may not be good as well.
    • (2) Machining and grinding may cost a lot.
    • (3) The waterproof rims may be easily leaking water so as to cause low durability and liability.
  • Another point, when leaking is happening, the whole structure will be collapsed due to that of a foam material. Hence any one who is playing in the sea or engaging in the work of lifesaving needs to be very careful for being possibly in a risk.
  • Therefore, how to figure out such shortcomings is an important issue to the people who are skilled in the art.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary objective of the present invention is to provide an improved structure for a sport board so as to figure out the shortcomings of lower production, higher cost, hard quality control, etc. in prior arts.
  • The secondary objective of the present invention is to provide the improved structure for the sport board so as to figure out the problems of damaging the inside structure of the sport board due to water leaking in prior arts and enhance the strength and stress of the sport board.
  • The improved structure for the sport board comprises: a first layer, which is a low density foam layer and has a first surface and a second surface; a second layer, which is a hardened layer, a first surface of the second layer being joined the second surface of the first layer; a third layer, which is a low density foam layer, a first surface of the third layer being joined a second surface of the second layer; and a cover layer, which is a waterproof layer, a first surface of the cover layer being completely joined the first surface of the first layer and a second surface of the third layer.
  • A method for assembling the improved structure for the sport board comprises the steps of: (1) disposing the first layer into a first semi-mold of a mold and the third layer into a second semi-mold of the mold; (2) preheating the first layer and third layer; (3) locating the second layer in between the first layer and third layer and closing the mold; (4) assembling the first layer, second layer and third layer; and (5) the cover layer completely wrapping around the first layer, second layer and third layer after assembling.
