Abstract
The invention described and illustrated herein accomplishes multiple functions to aid archery hunters in illumination, laser aiming and video recording of hunting and target shooting experiences. The invention leverages existing site mounting locations on compound bows and offers an adjustable setting based upon the bow/site combination leveraged by the hunter. The invention is adaptable for multiple lighting solutions as well as cameras and significantly improves the shooters ability to leverage the advantage of having an illumination device by placing it close to the site verses low on the base of the bow in the stabilization mount.
Description
- Archery accessory bracket for compound bows—mounts to universal site mount position of bows currently marketed as per illustrations attached for use in mounting flashlights, laser aiming devices, video cameras, among other things.
- This invention relates generally to archery bows used for shooting arrows. Currently, there are a number of stabilization-based illumination devices on the market however this invention leverages the existing site mounting location verses the stabilization location therefore providing the shooter with improved visibility in all shooting conditions. Additionally, this invention allows the shooter to take advantage of existing LED lighting solutions that combine lighting with laser dot aiming devices thereby further improving shot accuracy. Furthermore, the invention is designed to accept a digital camera for video recording of shooting and or hunting experiences as seen through the eyes of the hunter and is adaptable to most existing marketed compound bows and sites for a wide array of brand and design utilization.

- The specific details of the invention are described with reference to the drawings. The product will be produced from aluminum material with particular attention to strength and reduced vibration to the attached device(s) and/or addition or creation of vibration noise. The invention is designed to fit many compound bow/site combinations on the market and offers the shooter a wide variety of illumination device, video recording device choices (including ones perhaps used for existing firearms the shooter may own). The invention is designed in such a way to allow adjustment of height and, position of the attached devices (illumination devices, video recording devices, among other things). It is pointed out that although the present invention has been shown and described with reference to a particular embodiment, nevertheless various changes and modifications, obvious to one skilled in the art to which the invention pertains, are deemed to lie within the purview of the invention.
Claims (2)
1. A fixed and/or adjustable mounting device for mounting of illumination devices, laser aiming devices, video recording devices that is mounted above the compound bow hand grip leveraging the site mount position of said compound bow frame.
