Description
- This is a Continuation-In-Part application of a non-provisional application having an application No. 12/798,376 and a filing date of Apr. 2, 2010.
- 1. Field of Invention
- The present invention relates to a controller, and more particularly to a simulate controller for a game console, such as Nintendo Wii™, having a case to incorporate with the game controller for simulating a game subject.
- 2. Description of Related Arts
- Remarkable advances have been made in game consoles, such as Nintendo Wii™ or Xbox360™, to give relatively more realistic feelings for the true enthusiasts of video games. In order to enhance the reality of a game subject, for instances: a combat or a sport, to make the user more into the game, a video game for the game consoles has not only improved the game screen quality, such as 3-D effect, but also improved a shape or function of the game controller to incorporate with the game controller of the game console, so as to increase the reality of the video game.
- Lot of existing game controllers has a function of vibration, so that when the user triggers a movement, such as shouting or hitting, the game controller is vibrating to increase the reality of the game subject.
- Still some other game controllers comprise two controlling parts to simulate the movement of two hands of human. For example, the Nintendo Wii™ controller has a remote control by wire or wirelessly connected to the host of the game console, and a “Nunchuk” controller connecting to the remote control, in such a manner that the two controllers can simulate the movement of two hands by being held through two hands, so as to enhance realistic feelings of the video game. The two controlling parts having at least one motional sensor are capable of simulating the movements of two hands.
- Take fishing as an example, a fishing video game provided for being played in the Nintendo Wii™ is operated by one hand holding the remote control, and the other hand holding the “Nunchuk” controller for detecting the movement by rotating the “Nunchuk” controller as the movement of rolling a reel of a fishing rod.
- However, the movement of rotating the “Nunchuk” controller is not accurate. The user is unable to keep rolling the reel at the same plane as the real fishing rod. Furthermore, the original controller does not have the similar shape of real fishing rod. Thus, the realistic feeling of fishing is dramatically decreased.
- An objective of the present invention is to provide a simulate controller, wherein the simulate controller is provided to incorporate with a game controller of a game console, wherein the simulate controller has a structure related to a video game subject of the game console to enhance the realistic feeling of the game subject.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a simulate controller, wherein the simulate controller incorporated with the game controller is capable of accurately simulating a motion of the game subject of the game console.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a simulate controller, wherein the simulate controller has two compartments for receiving a first and a second game controller, so as to effectively simulate the movement of both hands.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a simulate controller, wherein the simulate controller has a geographical shape similar to a fishing rod set and adapts for operatively controlling a fishing game of the game console.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a simulate controller, wherein the simulate controller has a first part having a shape similarly to a fishing rod, and a second part having a shape similarly to a fishing reel operatively and rotatably connected to the fishing rod, such that the user is able to accurately operate the fishing game by rolling the fishing reel of the simulate controller.
- Another objective of the present invention is to provide a simulate controller, wherein the second holder is rotatably coupling with a connection element of the joint member to enable the second holder being selectively adjusted in a rotational plan non- parallel to a rotational plan at the second conjunction end of the joint member.
- Accordingly, in order to accomplish the above objects, the present invention provides a simulate controller comprising a first holder having a first compartment for receiving a first controller of a game console, a second holder having a second compartment for receiving a second controller of the game console, and a joint member provided for connecting the first and second holder. The joint member provides a simulating movement between the first and second holder according to a subject of the video game, in such a manner that through the operative connection between the first and second holders of the simulate controller, the simulate controller is capably of being accurately operated by a motion of two hands via the two controllers of the game console in accordance of a video game subject requirement.
- These and other objectives, features, and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description, the accompanying drawings, and the appended claims.

Theretention member 125B preferably provided at the side portion of thefirst holder 10B is able to simulate the most realistic reeling feeling via the simulate controller and stably coupling with thejoint member 30B. The throughhole 1251B and thefirst axle 31B is one of the examples for pivotally and rotatably coupling thejoint member 30B with thefirst holder 10B, and may be interchangeable. It is appreciated that thefirst conjunction end 32B of thejoint member 30B may be pivotally coupling with theretention member 125B via screw or interlocking manner to interlock thefirst axle 31B with theretention member 125B to rotate. - An
axle locker 33B may further provided to detachably interlock thefirst axle 31B rotating within the throughhole 1251B of theretention member 125B, wherein theaxle locker 33B has an inner threadedportion 331B and thefirst axle 31B has an outer threadedportion 311B for detachably fastening with the inner threadedportion 331B of theaxle locker 33B. Therefore, thefirst axis 31B of thejoint member 30B is extended through the throughhole 1251B to fasten with theaxle locker 33B via the inner threadedportion 331B thereof, so as to limit the rotational movement at thefirst axis 31B. - Accordingly, a
second axle 34B is further provided at thesecond conjunction end 35B of thejoint member 30B for rotatably coupling with thesecond holder 20B, so as to provide a rotatable movement between thejoint member 30B and thesecond holder 20B. Thus, thesecond holder 20B rotatably and pivotally coupling with thejoint member 30B is able to rotatably drive thejoint member 30B to rotate, so as to form the related movement between the first andsecond holders - A
connection element 36B may be further provided for pivotally coupling thesecond conjunction end 35B of thejoint member 30A with thesecond holder 20B such that thesecond holder 20B is pivotally moved with respect to thejoint member 30B. Accordingly, theconnection element 36B has a socket end rotatably coupling with thesecond axle 34B of thejoint member 30B and a pivot end pivotally coupling with the side portion of thesecond holder 20B. Therefore, thesecond holder 20B can be selectively adjusted between a first rotational orientation and a second rotational orientation with respect to thefirst holder 10B. - In other words, the
second holder 20B can be rotatably moved with respect to thefirst holder 10B to stimulate a reel movement of the reel of the fishing rod. In addition, thesecond holder 20B can be pivotally moved with respect to thejoint member 30B to selectively adjust the orientation of thesecond holder 20B with respect to thefirst holder 10B. In other words, thesecond holder 20B can be pivotally moved to parallel to thefirst holder 10B and can be pivotally moved to perpendicular to thefirst holder 10B. Therefore, thesecond holder 20B is able to be rotatably adjusted its angle to a comfortable position in the individual manner. - More specifically, the first rotational orientation and the second rotational orientation of the
second holder 20B are preferably formed vertically to each other, so that thesecond holder 20B is able to be rotated to a desired angle along the second rotational orientation for being comfortably held to rotatably drive thejoint member 30B, so as to accurately form the corresponding movement between the first andsecond holders - As taking a fishing game for example, the
first holder 10B may has an elongated shape for simulating a fishing rod, wherein thejoint member 30B rotatably coupling with the first andsecond holders second holder 20B in relation to thefirst holder 10B. Therefore, thefirst holder 10B may further has a protrudingportion 11B and a holdingportion 12B, wherein the protrudingportion 11B has an elongated shape extending form the holdingportion 12B to form an elongated shapedfirst holder 10B to simulate a fishing rod like shape. - In this example of fishing game, for operating the fishing game of the game console, the gamer is pointing a screen of the video game via the first controller, when the gamer catches a fish, as an example, a vibration sensor built into the first controller vibrates as a signal of catching fish, so that the gamer can roll the
second holder 20B as a reel of the fishing rod as if he or she is really fishing. - It is worth mentioning that the simulate controller of the fishing game not only provide an accurate related movement between the first and second controller of real fishing, but also a highly similarity of true fishing rod shape to enhance the reality of fishing.
- Accordingly, the
first holder 10B has the protrudingportion 11B and the holdingportion 12B, wherein the protrudingportion 11B comprises acasing 111B to define a hollow cavity therewithin, wherein arod 112B is provided within the hollow cavity of thecasing 111B of the protrudingportion 11B.
