Abstract

A training member used for training purposes, for promoting physical training in the fields of sports, where coordination, strength of hands and fingers and their stamina is extremely important. The training member, which helps to strengthen joints and muscle structure, thereby reducing the threat of traumas, is a pillow type bag (1) made from strong and resistant material, which can be filled with different types of filling (3). The edges of the bag are quilted with a seam (2) forming an edge (4), which makes it is possible to grab a hold of. The edge is wide enough that it can be grabbed hold of, thereby training the necessary muscle groups and learning grasping and holding. In addition, the bag can be tied on one side, which makes the removal and placement of filling material easy and comfortable.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention belongs to the field of sports, namely the invention is used for training, for promoting physical training in sports where coordination, strength of hands and fingers and their stamina is extremely important.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Based on the existing prior art, inventions with similar solutions and purposes will not arise. Various mats and pillows are disclosed in the prior art documents, the function and construction of which are different from this invention. One similar solution CN201337784 is the judo pillow, although the structure of the pillow is different from this solution and the purpose of their use differs from one another. CN2083605 also discloses a judo pillow, which is used for training purposes in judo as well as other sports, although the existing solution is manufactured from various layers. Namely, the existing solution is comprised of ten slip proof surface layers, an elastic material layer, etc. This solution, however, is a training means, the bag of which can be filled with different filling materials.
  • Similar exercises, which are done with this means, can also be performed with using a stuffed ball known in prior art, although due to the round shape of the ball it is not possible to train the wrist and finger joints. They are therefore left untrained. The training means allows for exercises to be performed more efficiently, since it has an edge which it is possible to grab a hold of, so that it does not slip out of the hands.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The purpose of the invention is to offer a training means, which helps to strengthen joints and muscle structure, thereby reducing the threat of traumas. The given means allows for fingers, forearm, shoulder and back muscles and other muscle groups to be trained and strengthened. The purpose of the invention is achieved through the use of a pillow type bag made of strong and resistant material, which can be stuffed with different types of filling material. The edges of the bag are quilted with a seam forming an edge, which it is possible to grab a hold of. The edge is wide enough that it can be grabbed hold of, thereby training the necessary muscle groups and learning grasping and holding. In addition, the bag can be tied on one side, which makes the removal and placement of filling material easy and comfortable.
  • The invention is used primarily in judo, but can also be used in other sports such as karate, jujitsu and other eastern combat sports, boxing, wrestling, volleyball, basketball, American football, in areas where hands and fingers are used. The invention is suitable for use in exercising and training by children as well as adults.
  • LIST OF ILLUSTRATIVE MATERIAL
  • FIG. 1 cross section of bag.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention is described in greater detail with references to FIG. 1 in the following illustrated sample implementation.
  • The training related invention, prepared from strong and resistant material, is a bag (1), which has been quilted with multiple seams (2) forming an edge (4), which extends outward. The bag's (1) edges (4) are sufficiently wide, that it would be possible to grab hold of the bag with the fingers and hold, thereby training the corresponding muscle groups. Thanks to the edge, it is possible to strengthen the resistance of finger joints and reduce the threat of traumas. At one end the bag (1) can be tied together, which ensures that filling material (3) can be easily added or removed. Filling material in the preferred implementation is sand. Using various filling materials and regulating their quantities allows for the weight of the training means to be altered based on need. This makes the training means suitable for children as well as adults.
  • In the preferred implementation a training means bag (1) is manufactured from the same material used to make judo uniforms (judogi). Since the materials used in manufacturing the training means bag (1) are also used in manufacturing the judo uniform (judogi) used in training and competition, then the student achieves the correct feeling when practicing gripping. The given material is resistant.
  • At the same time, this invention is safe especially when falling, since it does not contain any strong metal objects for weight.
  • The training means unites within itself loading and the material from which the judogi is manufactured.

Claims (3)

1. The training means, which is comprised of a bag (1) and filling (3), wherein the bag made from strong and resistant material can be opened and tied together at one end, and the edge of the bag is quilted with at least two seams (2) so that it forms an edge (4), which is sufficiently wide that it would be possible to grab a hold of.
2. Training means according to claim 1, wherein the training means (1) is made from the same material as a judogi.
3. Training means according to claim 1, wherein the filling for the bag (1) is sand.
