Abstract

This invention provides a chair's backrest folding screen device to be primarily installed in a chair's backrest, once installed, the user can deploy the unit to a full size geometrical figure screen background behind the back rest. When the user is seated, and in front of a camera, the captured image frame is of the user and the background screen blocking any other image the camera may capture without the use of the device. The unit also provides visual privacy by partially blocking the view from behind the chair's backrest and also provides auditive privacy in a shared space by absorbing the ambient noise.

Description

    FIELD
  • Background screens
  • BACKGROUND
  • As videoconferencing gets popular and affordable, office space scarce, and more people are working from home or public places, there's a need for privacy and to show to the person on the other side of the videoconferencing a better image relating your working environment.
  • Videoconferencing uses a type of camera attached or integrated to a device such as a computer, tablet or smart phone. The camera is mostly aimed towards the face or upper body of the person whom may be seated. The camera catches both the person and the background, sometimes the camera may be focused to catch the face of the person and the background may be blurry. Sometimes the camera's focus may be universal and is focused to anything within it's frame of view.
  • Sometime users of videoconferencing work in cubicles where the webcams used in the videoconferencing capture the background which sometimes may show confidential information or may be an image the user does not want to show to the person in the other side of the video conference.
  • Some companies have created specific rooms and cubicles for videoconferencing to avoid these issues. Sometimes, people working from home try to arrange their webcam positioning to show the best “angle” within the area they are in, like their kitchen for example.
  • Some people use standup screen for privacy and to show a best image of themselves and their work environment, some may even use their bed blankets as back screens.
  • My Invention relates to a Chair's backrest folding screen device. The devise's chair cover style makes the installation in most types of chairs easy and the background screen on one side provides privacy to the user and on the other side a blank or a printed image to show to the person on the other side of the videoconference a printed or colored background. The unit also works as a sound absorber.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • These and other features will become more apparent from the following description in which reference is made to the appended drawings, the drawings are for the purpose of illustration only and are not intended to be in any way limiting, wherein:
  • FIG. 1, is a rear perspective view of the Chair's backrest folding screen device.
  • FIG. 2 is a front upper perspective view of the Chair's backrest folding screen device.
  • FIG. 3 is an exploded view of how the Chair's backrest folding screen device attaches to an office chair.
  • FIG. 4 is a front perspective view of the Chair's backrest folding screen device installed in the chair's backrest.
  • FIG. 5 is a front perspective view of the Chair's backrest folding screen device with the folding background screen deployed showing the inside metal rims.
  • FIG. 6 is a front perspective view of the Chair's backrest folding screen device with the folding background screen deployed showing the outside screen image.
  • FIG. 7 is a back perspective view of the Chair's backrest folding screen device with the folding background screen deployed showing the back of the screen.
  • FIG. 8 is a front perspective view of the Chair's backrest folding screen device with the folding background screen folding.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • A Chair Cover with folding background Screen generally identified by reference numeral (10) will now be described with reference to FIG. 1 through 8.
  • Structure and Relationship of Parts:
  • Referring to FIG. 1, there is illustrated a Chair's backrest folding screen device generally referenced by numeral (10) that supports on the back a foldable screen (18) made of a sheet of flexible material which deploys by memory wire (14) into a predetermined shape. Such Chair's backrest folding screen device (10) has at least one strap (16) that straps the chair cover to the chair (12).
  • Referring to FIG. 2, there is an illustrated front perspective of the Chair's backrest folding screen device.
  • Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4, the Chair's backrest folding screen device (10) attaches to the chair's backrest (12) and the straps (16) hold both of them together by strapping them to the chair (12).
  • Operation
  • Referring to FIGS. 3 and 4 there is an illustrated method on how to install the Chair's backrest folding screen device (10) to the chair's backrest (12) by strapping the straps (16) to the chair (12) structure and securing it tight.
  • Referring to FIG. 5, chair cover with folding background screen (10) is fully deployed by the expanding force of the memory spring wires in oval shape (22) attached to the sheet of flexible material (20) for support and to act as a surface for a printed image or text.
  • Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, Chair's backrest folding screen device (10) fully deployed shows the front side (24) printed on the sheet of flexible material (20) and in FIG. 7 it shows the back side of the deployed background screen (26) printed on the back face of the sheet of flexible material (20) when the chair cover with folding background screen (10) is attached to the chair (12)
  • Referring to FIG. 8, deployed background screen from the chair cover with folding screen (10) folds from the inside out from the corners position (30) until completely folded behind the chair cover (10) attached to the chair (12)
  • The following claims are to be understood to include what is specifically illustrated and described above, what is conceptually equivalent, and what can be obviously substituted. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that various adaptations and modifications of the described embodiments can be configured without departing from the scope of the claims. The illustrated embodiments have been set forth only as examples and should not be taken as limiting the invention. It is to be understood that, within the scope of the following claims, the invention may be practiced other than as specifically illustrated and described.
