Abstract
Tp Tracker is a compact, light weight, re-useable, crush resistant, moisture resistant container for holding a compact coreless roll of toilet paper, that can be attached to any belt, belt loop, back pack strap, etc. The primary purpose for inventing the TP Tracker was to make using toilet paper by hunters to mark blood trails when tracking a wounded animal. What makes it real unique for hunters, is it can be used one handed, a hunter does not have to set there weapon down to get a piece of toilet paper to mark the blood trail. But TP Tracker goes way beyond that in it also can be used by anyone needing toilet paper far from any restroom facilities, people like; hunters, fishermen, hikers, campers, even military personnel out in the field.
Description
- Portable toilet paper dispenser and blood trail marker.
- TP Tracker is a small container that holds a small compact roll of toilet paper, that would be used in the marking of blood spots after an animal has been shot and is being tracked. Also TP Tracker is a portable toilet paper dispenser for outdoor enthusiasts away from restroom facilities.
- My invention comes from years of experience in hunting and tracking of Whitetail deer after being shot with a bow or a firearm. Big game hunting, especially with a bow does not always result in the animal falling down and dieing within the view of the hunter. Hunters often have to rely on their ability to find and track an animals blood trail that is being left behind by the wound. Sometimes this can be a very hard task, relying only on a few drops of blood and many times having to go back to the last spot where blood was found to try and determine where the animal may have gone. Using Toilet Paper is a widely known and used method of marking spots of blood Found; it provides a reference point to go back to if the blood trail is lost and it helps you determine the possible path the animal may have taken. Toilet paper is the best choice for this type of tracking because it is highly visible and bio-degradable, But using a conventional roll of toilet paper does have its drawbacks; its bulky, it must be kept in a ziplock bag to keep it from getting wet. Using a conventional roll of toilet paper is especially difficult when tracking an animal by your self, because when you are blood tracking a big game animal, not only do you have to look for the blood trail, but you also have to be looking around to see if the animal is possibly still alive. If the animal is still alive not only do you want to see how bad it is wounded and what direction it is heading, you might also be able to get another shot at it.
- Doing this kind of tracking using a conventional roll of toilet paper by yourself, you have to stop set down your weapon, get the toilet paper out of the zip lock bag, tear off a piece, mark the trail, put the toilet paper back in the zip lock bag, pick up your weapon and continue to the next spot and repeat those steps again. Each and every time you do this you take your eyes off the trail ahead where the animal could still be alive.
- This is where TP Tracker comes in and eliminates the need to put down your weapon and take your eyes off the trail ahead. TP Tracker is made to attach to a hunters belt, belt loop, backpack strap, or anywhere else they can strap it. Then the hunter is able to pull off a sheet of toilet paper to mark a blood spot with just one hand, never setting your weapon down or taking your eyes off the trail ahead where the animal might be.
- TP Tracker is compact, crush resistant and moisture resistant. TP Tracker can also be hung from a tree branch to use the toilet paper for what toilet paper was meant to be used for . . . when nature calls. TP Tracker, since it uses conventional toilet paper made into compact coreless rolls, it can be used by Campers, Hikers, Fishermen or anyone who may be enjoying the outdoors away from any restroom facilities when nature calls. TP tracker could also be used by military personnel out in the field, when away from restroom facilities.
Claims (1)
1. TP Tracker will improve a hunters ability to effectively track a wounded animal. By marking the blood trail with toilet paper without setting their weapon down or taking their eyes off the trail ahead where the animal may be.
TP Tracker will also make it more convenient for a hunter when they have to go to the restroom out in the woods, by hanging the TP Tracker from a tree branch and easily pulling toilet paper out.
Unlike other blood trail markers that half to be picked up after tracking an animal, and trying to find them all, specially in the dark, can be a hard task. Although it is recommended that the TP Tracker toilet paper be picked up too, if you miss some pieces it is bio-degradable and will dissolve in a very short time.
TP Tracker can be used as just a portable toilet paper dispenser by anyone enjoying the outdoors away from restroom facilities, or even military personal out in the field. Unlike other camping/hiking toilet paper, TP Tracker holds its toilet paper in a very compact, crush resistant, moisture resistant, easy to use container, that can be hung from a tree branch and toilet paper can be easily pulled out with one hand. TP Tracker can be covered in different colors or schemes other then camouflage that might be more suitable for campers, hikers, fishermen, etc.
