  • 1. Field of the Invention
  • The invention relates to a package structure. More particularly, the invention relates to a combined-type package structure.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • Recently, various electronic products have been continuously launched, and thus the issue of packing said products correspondingly arises. The products need be packed so as to ensure that the products may be transported, displayed, and sold in an intact manner. Due to the long-distance delivery, if the products are not well packed or not packed in compliance with mechanics requirements (e.g., the weight-bearing requirement, the pressure resistance requirement, and so on), the contents of the package may not remain intact. Special care should be given to fragile electronic products to prevent damages caused by external forces while the products are being stored in a warehouse, transported, purchased by a customer, and delivered to the customer.
  • At present, plural cushion members are manually adhered to the inside of a package structure in order to protect the contents of the package structure. Nevertheless, the adhesion process of the cushion members is time-consuming and requires significant labor costs. Moreover, once the cushion members are adhered to the inside of the package structure, the cushion members can no longer be removed; alternatively, the package structure may be damaged and cannot be used again because of the improper removal of the cushion members. To sum up, use of the cushion members may lead to an issue of waste of resources. In another aspect, during the delivery process, moisture may enter the package structure and even infiltrate the electronic products in the package structure, thus reducing the service life of the electronic products and negatively affecting the operation of the electronic products.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The invention is directed to a package structure for effectively preventing a product in the package structure from being damaged or moistened. Besides, no adhesive tape is required for fixing the package structure; therefore, recycling and utilization rates of package materials may be significantly raised, and assembly time and costs may be reduced.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DISCLOSED EMBODIMENTS
  • FIG. 1 is a schematic view illustrating a first package container according to an embodiment of the invention. FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view along an A-A′ direction in FIG. 1. FIG. 3 is a schematic view illustrating a projection of the first package container depicted in FIG. 1. With reference to FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, in the present embodiment, the first package container 100A serves to pack objects 20. The objects 20 are respectively a cuboid and are solar cells or other electronic devices, for instance. The first package container 100A is a cuboid and has a receiving space 101 and a plurality of side surfaces 101 a surrounding the receiving space 101. Here, only one of the side surfaces 101 a is depicted in the drawings. The objects 20 are located in the receiving space 101, and the side surfaces 101 a of the first package container 100A respectively expose ridge portions 21 of the objects 20 correspondingly.
  • In the present embodiment, the objects 20 are stacked and packaged as an object set 30 along a first axis A1, and the first axis A1 is perpendicular to a maximum surface 20 a of each of the objects 20. Particularly, the object set 30 described herein is formed by stacking a plurality of solar cell boards (i.e., the objects 20) and packing the solar cell boards with use of protection films, which should however not be construed as a limitation to the invention. The first package container 100A is made of a cushion material, e.g. expandable polyethylene (EPE), and the first package container 100A includes a first package assembly 110 and a second package assembly 120.
  • The first package assembly 110 is constituted by a pair of first wedge-shaped members 111 and a pair of first side boards 112, and the pair of first wedge-shaped members 111 is sandwiched between the pair of first side boards 112. Similarly, the second package assembly 120 is constituted by a pair of second wedge-shaped members 121 and a pair of second side boards 122, and the pair of second wedge-shaped members 121 is sandwiched between the pair of second side boards 122. Therefore, the object set 30 is respectively inserted into the first package assembly 110 and the second package assembly 120 in opposite directions, such that the object set 30 is located in the receiving space 101 defined by the first package assembly 110 and the second package assembly 120.
  • Specifically, in the first package assembly 110, a first gap 111 a exists between the pair of first wedge-shaped members 111. When the objects 20 are inserted into the first package assembly 110, the first ridge portions 21 a of the objects 20 are located at the first gap 111 a and exposed by the side surfaces 101 a of the first package container 100A. Likewise, in the second package assembly 121, a second gap 121 a exists between the pair of second wedge-shaped members 121. When the objects 20 are inserted into the second package assembly 120, the second ridge portions 21 b of the objects 20 are located at the second gap 121 a and exposed by the side surfaces 101 a of the first package container 100A. Here, the first gap 111 a and the second gap 121 a are opposite to each other (on an diagonal line of the objects 20). That is, the first package container 100A packs the objects 20 by rotating the object set 30 by an angle α. Specifically, when the first axis A1 acts as a normal to a projection plane, an orthogonal projection of the first package container 100A and an orthogonal projection of the object set 30 on the projection plane respectively have a square profile, and one of the square profiles is rotated relative to the other square profile by the angle α, such that the two square profiles are misaligned.
  • According to the present embodiment, the first package container 100A further has a plurality of cushion trenches 102 respectively located on the side surfaces 101 a, so as to prevent direct damages to the objects 20 due to the vibrations during delivery. In brief, the first package assembly 110 and the second package assembly 120 are bonded in a face-to-face manner, so as to fix the objects 20 therebetween. Thereby, impact that may be generated during delivery may be effectively lessened, and the four fragile corners (i.e., the ridge portions 21, the first ridge portion 21 a, and the second ridge portion 21 b) of each cuboid object 20 may be protected from directly hitting other objects in the surroundings. The maximum surface 20 a of each of the objects 20 is covered by the first and second side boards 112 and 122, so as to prevent the objects 20 from directly receiving external forces.
  • FIG. 4 is a schematic view illustrating a projection of the first package container depicted in FIG. 1 according to another embodiment of the invention. With reference to FIG. 4, in the first package container 100B, short side surfaces 111 b and 111 c at two sides of the first gap 111 a are between any two adjacent first wedge-shaped members 111, and orthogonal projections of the two short side surfaces 111 b and 111 c on a projection plane are short sides with different lengths. Besides, orthogonal projections of every two adjacent wedge-shaped members 111 on the projection plane are different wedge-shaped angles 111 d and 111 e located at two respective sides of the first gap 111 a. The projection plane is parallel to the maximum surface 20 a of each object 20. That is, the projection plane is parallel to the maximum surface of the first or second side board 112 or 122. In the two first wedge-shaped members 111 shown in FIG. 4, two included angles 111 m and 111 n are respectively defined by the extension lines of the long side surfaces 111 f and 111 g of each first wedge-shaped member 111 and the extension lines of the outer side surfaces 111 h and 111 j of each first wedge-shaped member 111, and the two included angles 111 m and 111 n are different from each other, which indicates that the lengths of the outer side surfaces 111 h and 111 j of the two first wedge-shaped members 111 on the projection plane are different from each other.
  • Similarly, said configurations also exist between every two adjacent second wedge-shaped members 121 and between two adjacent first and second wedge-shaped members 111 and 121, and thus no further explanation is provided hereinafter.
  • When the first axis A1 acts as a normal to the projection plane, an orthogonal projection of the first package container 100B and an orthogonal projection of the object set 30 on the projection plane respectively have a square profile, the two square profiles are interlaced, and one of the square profiles is rotated relative to the other square profile by an angle (i.e., the wedge-shaped angle 111 d or 111 e) with respect to the first axis A1. That is, the object set 30 is fixed in the first package container 100B by means of asymmetrical wedge-shaped members, and the object set 30 pushes against a long side surface 111 f of each wedge-shaped member.
  • FIG. 5 is a schematic view illustrating a first package container according to another embodiment of the invention. With reference to FIG. 5, the difference between the first package container 200 described in the present embodiment and the first package containers described above lies in that the first package container 200 is constituted by a side board 210 and four wedge-shaped members 220, and a receiving space 201 is defined by the side board 210 and the wedge-shaped members 220. After the objects 20 are placed in the receiving space 201, another side board 210 is detachable placed on and covers the wedge-shaped members 220, so as to achieve the same effects as accomplished in the previous embodiments.
  • FIG. 6 is a schematic view illustrating a second package container according to an embodiment of the invention. FIG. 7 is a schematic view illustrating the second package container depicted in FIG. 6 before the second package container is packed. FIG. 8 is a schematic view illustrating the second package container depicted in FIG. 6 after the second package container is unpacked. With reference to FIG. 6 to FIG. 8, in this embodiment, the second package container 300 has a first side 301 and a second side 302 opposite to each other. The first package container 100A and the object set 30 therein are suitable for being placed into the corresponding second package container 300 along the second axis A2 from the first side 301. Specifically, the second package container 300 is a box made of corrugated paper, and the second package container 300 has an imprint line profile 311 located at the second side 302 and a closable lid 312 located at the first side 301. The first package container 100A and the object set 30 therein are suitable for being placed in the box through the closable lid 312.
  • The imprint line profile 311 is adapted to be damaged by an external force, so as to form an opening 300 a at the box and form a lid 313 connected to the box. After the lid 313 is unfolded, the opening 300 a is exposed, such that the first package container 100A in the box and the objects 20 in the first package container 100A are capable of being taken out through the opening 300 a. In an embodiment not shown in the drawings, after the first package container 100A and the objects 20 in the first package container 100A are taken out through the opening 300 a, the first package container 100A and the objects 20 therein may be recycled and stored in the second package container 300 through the opening 300 a.
  • FIG. 9 is a schematic view illustrating a second package container according to another embodiment of the invention. The location of the closable lid is not limited in the present embodiment; in other feasible embodiments as exemplarily shown in FIG. 9, the difference between the second package container 300′ shown in FIG. 9 and the second package container 300 shown in FIG. 7 lies in that the closable lid 312 a is located at the second side 302 of the second package container 300′, such that the object set 30 may be placed into the second package container 300 through the closable lid 312 a. Namely, the sender is able to store the first package container 100A and the object set 30 therein by means of the closable lid 312 a, and the recipient may press (and damage) the imprint line profile 311 to remove the first package container 100A and the object set 30 therein through the opening (similar to the opening 300 a shown in FIG. 8).
  • FIG. 10 is an exploded view illustrating a package structure according to an embodiment of the invention. FIG. 11 is an assembly view illustrating the package structure depicted in FIG. 10. With reference to FIG. 10 and FIG. 11, in the present embodiment, the package structure 50 includes the first package container 100A, the second package container 300, and the third package container 400, and the first package container 100A and the object set 30 therein are placed in the second package container 300. The third package container 400 has a first component 410 and a second component 420 that are detachable, and the first component 410 and the second component 420 are boxes with the same profile. One of the first component 410 and the second component 420 has a first locking tab 411, and the other one has a locking hole 421. In the present embodiment, the first locking tab 411 is located on a side surface 410 a of the first component 410, and the locking hole 421 is located on a side surface 420 a of the second component 420, which should however not be construed as a limitation to the invention.
