(CL 173-428 dampness, the fixtures being oi' a novel construction so as to permit the quick drying out thereof and draining during inclement weather, so that the interior of the said flxture will 'be maintained dry and in this manner avoid the laying ot the said electrode in water or dampness.
Another object ot the invention is the provision of a flxture of this character wherein the electrode of a neon tube can be conveniently fltted therein and protected from weather element to assure constant dryness within said fixture.
A further object of the invention is the provision oi a flxture of this character which is simple in its construction, thoroughly reliable and eirective in its operation, enabling the convenient fltting of the electrode of a neon tube therein for protection ot such electrode. strong. durabe and ine n nsive to manutacture and instau.
With these and other objects in view, the invention consists in the features ot construction. combination and arrangem'ent of parte as will be hereinafter more fully dcscribed, illus trated in the accompanying drawing, which discloses the prei'erred 'embodinent ot the *invention and pointed out in the claims hereu'nto appended. This binding post il has engaged therewith a coiled expansible contact i! for engaging the electrode end B when'the latter is inserted within the receptacle las is further shown in 20 Figura 3 ot 'the drawing.
