IMPROVEMET IN SHOULDER-BEACH p The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To all whom Ait 'may concern Be it known that I, ALEXANDER ADAMsoN, of the city of Washington, and District of Columbia, have invented a new and useful Shoulde1'Brace; and I do hereby declare the following to be an exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the letters oi reference marked thereon, making a part of this specification, in which- Figure l shows the brace, without a buckle, shaped similar to a figure 8.

Figure 2 exhibits the same with a buckle, and

Figure 3 represents the position of the brace across the back.

The nature of my invention is a single elastic strap fastened at both ends to the centre of the strap, and forming a loop on each side, similar to a igure 8. A buckle may be used, if necessary, to tighten the brace, but it is intended to be made of various sizes, to suit children or grown persons, and easily put on or oii the .shoulders by slipping the arms through the loops, as

when putting on a coat, and is for the purpose of keeping the shoulders straight and square, at the same time comfortable to Wear on account of its perfect elasticity, and very simple for use, and at much less cost than the braces now in use.

A is the centre of the brace, that meets inV the middle of the back of a person, between the shoulders.

What I claim as my invention, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
