DESIGN FOR A QUlLTlNG FABRIC.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,019, dated July l5, 1890.
Application filed May 29, 1390 Serial No. 353,670. Tenn of patent 3% years.
To all whom it may con/cern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES SUHULTZ, a citizen of the United States, residing at Chicago, in the county of Cook and State of Illinois,have invented and produced a new and original Design for Quilting Fabric, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing1 forming a part thereof.
The drawing is a diagrammatic plan.
My design consists of a quilted pattern representing a series ot' lines tuaveising the fabric diagonally in one direction and another series of lines diagonally traversing the fabric in a contrary direction, the two series of lines crossing each other at right angles, thus dividing the patterninto compartiments.
To render the fabric more beautiful, my design further consists of quilted figures representing stars located centrally in the square or lozenge shaped compartments aforesaid, and suspended from one of the angles or corners of such compartments.
What I claim is- The design fora pattern forquiltng fabric herein shown and described, and consisting of quilted figures representing angular compartments, and suspended stars located centrally in said compartments.
