Beim Zusammenwirken zweier Walzen, von denen wenigstens eine einen auf einem festen Walzenmantel aufgebrachten verformbaren Außenmantel aufweist, wird zwar eine in Bahnrichtung längere Preßzone erhalten. Sine solche Walze ist beispielsweise aus der DE-AS 25 22657 bekannt. Die hier gezeigte Walze ist vorzugsweise für die Anwendung als Presseurwalze im Rotationsdruck bestimmt. Sie ist jedoch nicht für einen höheren Druck geeignet, wie er insbesondere bei der Entwässerung von rapierbahnen notwendig ist. Die obere Druckgrenze liegt bei ca. 25 kp/cm , und die Standzeit ist sehr gering. Zur Erzielung einer verlängerten Freßzσne mit höherem Druck ist es insbesondere im Papiermaschinenbau bekannt, den tragenden Filz mit der Papierbahn zwischen zwei umlaufenden Bändern durchzuführen, gegen die von beiden Seiten her über eine bestimmte Länge hydrostatische Druckglieder gepreßt werden. Aufgrund der besonderen Formgebung und Ausbildung der Druckgliede kann entlang der Bahn ein bestimmtes Druckprcfil erhalten werd (US-PS 3 808092). Die Abdichtung einer solchen Vorrichtung na außen ist jedoch sehr kritisch. Besonders problematisch ist es, wenn die Druckglieder von der Bahn abgehoben werden sollen. Auch hier ist die Hydrostatik beim Öffnen und Schließen des Preßschuhes sehr hinderlich.
Weiterhin ist eine Schlauchwalze zum Anpressen eines Material- bandes gegen einen Trockenzylinder bekannt, der auf einem mit umlaufenden Innenmantel über entlang seinem Innenumfang verteilte, in der Preßzone auf den Anpreßdruck aufblasbare in sich geschlossene Segmentschläuchen abgestützt ist (DE-AS 19 23 784). Für eine solche Vorrichtung ist eine besondere Steuervorrichtung erforderlich, durch welche die jeweiligen in der Preßzone befindlichen Segmentschläuche druckbeaufschlagt werden. Es ergibt sich dadurch eine relativ komplizierte und aufwendige Konstruktion, wobei insbesondere die Abdichtung zwischen den gegeneinander rotierenden Tei len sehr problematisch ist. Die Schlauchsegmente sind für hohe Drücke ungeeignet, so daß der Überdruck nur durch ein Gas erzeugt werden kann. Bei Anwendung von zur Erzeugung höherer Drucke erforderlichen inkompressiblen flüssigen Druckmedien würden bei hohen Maschinengeschwindigkeiten von über 200 Meter pro Minute zu hohe Strömungsgeschwindigkeiten in den Zu- und Ableitungen zu den einzelnen Kammern auftreten, welche zu Kavitation führen würden.It is also known to press a circumferential belt by means of a press shoe hydrostatically against a circumferential roller (US-PS 3853698). 1. Preßwalze für bandförmiges Gut, die mit einer Gegenwalze zusammenwirkt, insbesondere für eine Papiermaschine zum Entwässern von einer von einem Filz oder Trägergewebe getragenen Faserstoffbahn mit einer einen elastisch verformbaren Außenmantel aufweisenden Einrichtung zum Bilden einer verlängerten Preßzone und einem Innenmantel zum Abstützen des Außenmantels über seinen Umfang, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Innenmantel (6) feststeht, der Außenmantel (5) unmittelbar auf dem Innenmantel (6) gleitend gelagert ist und in der Preßzone (N) wenigstens eine an der Innenseite des Außenmantels (5) anliegende, von innen her druckheaufschlagbare Druckleiste (15; 16) anliegt.1.
