Lorsque des rayons lumineux tombent sur un article peint avec cette peinture, des reflets irisés richement dégradés apparaissent à la surface de l'objet et les couleurs changent en fonction de l'angle d'observation, donnant l'impression qu'elles sont lumineuses et qu'elles se déplacent. La présente invention a des caractéristiques physiques de diffraction optique largement supérieures à celles des peintures actuellement disponibles et son effet décoratif ne se modifie pas sensiblement, même après une longue période d'utilisation à l'extérieur, ce qui permet son emploi largement répandu comme peinture décorative pour différents produits de haut de gamme.
