The spring regions (48), can be actuated by pressure parts (18) in such a way that contact noses (52) are applied against contact surfaces (90) on the printed circuit board (44) and connect the printed circuit board (44) mechanically with the base (4) and hence electrically via the contact parts (30) with the printed circuit board (10).

Description

Verbindungssystem zur lösbaren Verbindung von insbesondere zwei Leiterplattenn sowie Leiterplatte hierfür Connection system for the detachable connection of in particular two printed circuit boards and printed circuit board therefor
The invention relates to a connection system, in particular for the detachable connection of preferably two printed circuit boards, according to the preamble of claim I, and a printed circuit board therefor, according to the preamble of claim 24.
It is known to arrange printed circuit boards perpendicular to one another, usually one of the two printed circuit boards being equipped with electronic components and the other printed circuit board serving as a so-called base plate. For this purpose, it is known, for example, to provide one of the two printed circuit boards on their side to be contacted with a row of contact pins and the other printed circuit board, as a rule the base plate, with correspondingly designed sockets or plug contacts into which the contact pins of the other printed circuit board then enter be performed in order to establish a mechanical and electrical connection at the same time. A disadvantage of these known connection systems is that both the contact pins and the contact sockets must first be fastened to the respective printed circuit boards, which in the majority of cases occurs through through-plating and soldering. This requires a not inconsiderable amount of time for the attachment of the soldering eyes and their drilling, and furthermore, during the soldering process, care must be taken that the soldering eyes attached in the 2, 54 mm pitch are not short-circuited by soldering bridges. Furthermore, there is the disadvantage that, because of the large number of contacts to be made, a high insertion force is required in order to make a good electrical contact, and care must also be taken not to insert any of the contacts, since this can lead to a faulty connection. The high insertion forces also require high pull-out forces, and in the worst case the circuit boards themselves or electrical components mounted thereon can be damaged by the high forces to be applied. Finally, there is a risk. that the contact pins are bent or even kinked or broken due to the high insertion forces.
Despite the high insertion forces, such plug-in systems can only be subjected to low mechanical loads, since they can only absorb small tilting moments due to the short insertion depth. It is therefore necessary in the majority of cases to provide additional fastening elements in the form of metal angles or the like in order to be able to maintain the perpendicular arrangement of the printed circuit boards with respect to one another.
From US Pat. No. 2,825,037 a generic clamping device for circuit boards to be mounted perpendicular to one another is known, in which one of the circuit boards, in As a rule, the base plate receives a slot-shaped cutout, into which the circuit board to be mounted perpendicularly to it is then inserted with play. On the long sides of the cutout, resilient contact brackets are arranged which extend upwards with their contact tips away from the base plate. The contact brackets pass through the base plate and are connected to one another on the underside there by means of an expansion joint. When the vertical circuit board is inserted into the cutout, the lower edge of the circuit board meets a pivot point of the expansion joint and spreads it apart, so that the contact tips of the contact brackets are moved towards one another and clamp the circuit board to be mounted vertically between them.
In addition to the considerable structural effort, which in no way meets today's needs for a space-saving design, this known device has other, not insignificant disadvantages:
Thus, the contact tips of the contact bracket come into contact with it during the insertion movement of the circuit board, the contact force increasing as the circuit board is inserted, so that the contact tips on the circuit board become very abrasive, and therefore damage of only a few hundredths mm thick conductor tracks or contact areas on the conductor track are to be feared. Furthermore, the stability of the connection is also inadequate in this known device, so that additional holding means such as support brackets or the like must be used.
It is therefore an object of the present invention, a connection system according to the preamble of claim I, and a circuit board therefor according to the preamble of 1 to form claim 24 in such a way that a force-free insertion process is possible with a minimal overall size and a reliable, reproducible, safe electrical and mechanical connection of the two printed circuit boards is nevertheless achieved with one another.
24.This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claims 1 and 24, respectively.
Advantageous developments of the invention result from the respective subclaims.

Fig. 10 eine Modifikation des Verbindungssystems gemäß Fig. 8 und 9.10 shows a modification of the connection system according to FIGS. 8 and 9.
Der Sockelkörper 4 ist gemäß Fig. 1 auf einer Leiterplatte 10 dadurch befestigt, daß an der Unterseite des Sockelkörpers 4 angeordneteAccording to FIG. 1, a connection system 2 according to the invention essentially has a base body 4 with two side walls 6 and 8, which according to FIG. 3 has a rectangular, elongated plan. The base body 4 is fastened according to FIG. 1 on a printed circuit board 10 in that arranged on the underside of the base body 4
Pins 12, of which only one is shown in FIG. 1, are inserted into corresponding bores in the printed circuit board 10 and are fixed in position there, possibly by gluing.
The connection system 2 also has an actuating device 14. The actuating device 14 essentially consists of a grip area 16 and a downwardly projecting pressure part 18 which, according to FIG. 1, is wedge-shaped with a wedge surface 20 running perpendicular to the grip area 16 and a further wedge surface 22 running obliquely to the grip area 16. The wedge surface 22 slides on a correspondingly designed counter surface 24 on the side wall 6 of the base body 4, the counter surface 24 being inclined to an outer surface 26 of the base body 4 by the same angle as the wedge surface 22 to the wedge surface 20. A support area 28 of a contact part 30 is arranged in the bottom area of the base body 4 between the side walls 6 and 8. The attachment of the support area 28 in the material of the side walls 6 and 8 of the base body 4 is carried out in such a way that 28 locking projections 32 and 34 are formed on the end faces of the support area, which engage in correspondingly formed locking contours 36 and 38 of the side walls 6 and 8 respectively. Furthermore, projections 40 and 42 are formed on the inner sides of the side walls 6 and 8 in such a way that the carrier region 28 between the projections 40 and 42 or the locking contours 36 and 38 is fixed in position in both the horizontal and vertical directions. The projection 40 serves simultaneously as a depth stop for the pressure part 18 and the projection 42 serves as a depth stop for a printed circuit board 44, as will be explained in detail later.
Der Federbereich 48 ist im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel eine gekrümmte Blattfeder, die in Form eines um 90º gedrehtenA leg 46 of a spring region 48 of the contact part 30 projects vertically upward from the carrier region 28, which extends like a truss. The spring portion 48 is a curved leaf spring in the illustrated embodiment, which is rotated in the form of a 90 °
Vertikal oberhalb des Anschlages 56 ist an der Keilfläche 20 des Druckteiles 18 eine zur Formgebung des Vorsprungs 54 korrespondierende Ausnehmung 58 ausgebildet.S is formed on the carrier region 28 and carries a contact nose 52 at the free end of a leg 50 opposite the leg 46. At the upper end of the leg 46, a semicircular projection 54 is formed, which is engaged behind by a hook-shaped stop 56 of the pressure part 18. A recess 58 corresponding to the shape of the projection 54 is formed vertically above the stop 56 on the wedge surface 20 of the pressure part 18.
On the lower edge of the carrier region 28 opposite the leg 46, a connecting pin 60 is formed which, according to FIG. 1, projects so far that it leads the conductor plate 10 passes. In the central region of the connecting pin 60, a thickening 62 is formed, which bears against the inner wall of a bore 64 of the printed circuit board 10 under slight pressure, so that when the base body 4 is finally fixed by means of wave soldering or the like, in which the projecting area of the connecting pin 60 with the Printed circuit board 10 is connected, the base body 4 can not slip or float.
For better handling of the actuating device 14, a trough 66 is provided on the upper side of the grip area 16 and a recess 68 is formed on the outer underside of the grip area 16.
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 3, a plurality of insertion pockets 70 are provided on the upper side of the base body 4 and are separated from one another by webs 72. The insertion pockets 70 serve to receive the printed circuit board 44, as will be explained in the following. The insertion pockets 70 have insertion bevels 74 and 76 which facilitate the insertion of the printed circuit board 44 into the insertion pockets 70. The webs 72 extend from the material of the side wall 8 in the direction of the actuating device 14 and pass in the area between the insertion pockets 70 and an opening 78 for the pressure part 18 into a continuous traverse 80 which covers the spring areas 48 of the contact parts 30.
As can further be seen in particular from FIG. 2, the contact lugs 52 of the spring region 46 open into the insertion pockets 70 in order to make contact with a printed circuit board 44 inserted into the insertion pockets 70. 4, a circuit board according to the invention for the connection system 2 has a specially shaped one plug-in page 82. More precisely, the insertion side 82 is divided in a comb-like manner by a plurality of recesses 84 in its full region and by recesses 86 in its edge region, so that a plurality of insertion tongues 88 are formed, on which in turn a plurality of contact surfaces 90 are formed, which are shown in FIG. 4 are shown by dash-dotted lines. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the number of contact surfaces 90 on the tongue 88 amounts to four or five per tongue 88.
The mode of operation of the connection system according to the invention is now to be explained in more detail below, with reference to the drawing:
First, the base body 4 is attached to the circuit board 10, which serves as the base plate, in that the pin or pins 12 and the connecting pins 60 are inserted into corresponding bores in the circuit board 10 and are fastened there by gluing or soldering.
ZurIt is advantageous to provide at least two pins 12 on the respective narrow sides of the base body 4, the pins 12 having different diameters, so that a shape coding ensures that the base body 4 is not offset by 180 ° and is therefore incorrectly mounted on the printed circuit board 10 . To
Zum Verbinden und Kontaktieren der Leiterplatte 44 mit der Leiterplatte 10 wird die Leiterplatte 44 in den Sockelkörper 4 bzw. in die dort befindlichen Einstecktaschen 70 eingeführt, wobei die einzelnenConnection of the printed circuit board 10 to the printed circuit board 44, the printed circuit board 44 being to be arranged perpendicular to the printed circuit board 10, the connection system 2 is in the position according to FIG. 1, in which the actuating device 14 is in the release position shown in FIG. 1. In this position according to FIG. 1, the stop 56 of the pressure part 18 is in contact with the projection 54 of the spring region 48 and the spring region 48 is in a relaxed position in which the contact nose 52 does not protrude into the insertion pocket 70. It is on 2, a plurality of contact parts 30 or spring areas 4ß are provided parallel to one another in the longitudinal direction of the base body 4, the number of spring areas 48, which open into the insertion pockets 70, the number of contact surfaces 90 on the tongues ßß correspond to the circuit board 44. To connect and contact the printed circuit board 44 with the printed circuit board 10, the printed circuit board 44 is inserted into the base body 4 or into the insertion pockets 70 located there, the individual
Plug tongues 88 come to lie in the insertion pockets 70 and the recesses 84 or the recesses 86 on the printed circuit board 44 overlap the webs 72 on the base body 4. Since the contact lugs 52 of the spring areas 48 are in the retracted or relaxed position according to FIG. 1, the insertion of the printed circuit board 44 or the insertion tongues 88 into the insertion pockets 70 can take place essentially without any force. The insertion depth of the circuit board 44 into the base body 4 is limited by the projection 42, so that a uniform and defined insertion depth can be achieved.
After the circuit board 44 has been inserted into the insertion pockets 70, the actuating device 14 is handled in order to mechanically connect the circuit board 44 to the base body 4 and thus electrically to the circuit board 10 via the contact part 30. To produce this mechanical and electrical connection, the grip area 16 of the actuating device 14 in FIG. 1 is pressed down, the wedge surface 22 of the pressure part 18 sliding on the corresponding counter surface 24 of the side wall b until a lower end surface 92 of the pressure part 18 on the Top of the projection 40 comes to rest. In the course of the downward movement of the pressure part 18, due to the inclined guidance of the wedge surface 22 on the counter surface 24, an in Fig. 1 to the left movement of the pressure part 18, which is transmitted via the projection 54 to the spring area 4ß and thus to the contact nose 52. Thus, the contact lug 52 is pressed resiliently against the contact surface 90 of the printed circuit board 44 so that an electrical contact between the contact surface 90 and the connecting pin 60 takes place via the spring region 48 and the carrier region 28. In this locking position of the actuating device 14, the projection 54 comes to rest on the leg 46 of the spring region 48 in the recess 58 and is held there under spring tension, so that the actuating device 14 or the pressure part 18 are prevented from doing so, again in FIG. 1 slide position shown.
Als Material für den Federbereich 48 wird vorzugsweise Phosphorbronze oder ein anderes relativ steifes Federmaterial verwendet, so daß die Anpreßkraft der Kontaktnase 52 an der Leiterplatte 44 bzw. deren Kontaktfläche 90 relativ hoch ist und somit inIn the locked position of the actuating device 14, the contact lug 52 is thus pressed under the force of the spring region 48 against the contact surface 90, and the printed circuit board 44 is supported on the projection 42 or an inner wall 94 of the side wall 8 of the base body 4 over a large area. Phosphor bronze or another relatively stiff spring material is preferably used as the material for the spring area 48, so that the contact force of the contact lug 52 on the printed circuit board 44 or its contact surface 90 is relatively high and thus in
In connection with the large-area support on the projection 42 and the inner wall 94, a sufficiently high torque support of the printed circuit board 44 with respect to the printed circuit board 10 is achieved, so that additional stabilizing means such as angle brackets or the like can be dispensed with. Since the contact force of the contact lug 52 against the contact surface 90 is relatively high, it is ensured that any oxide layers on the contact surface 90 or the contact lug 52 are broken through at the moment of contacting, and a reliable electrical contact is established. To reduce of the contact resistance between the contact surface 90 and the contact lug 52, the contact lug 52 can be tin-plated or gold-plated in order to be able to effectively prevent the build-up of any oxide layers. The contact surface 90 can also be tin-plated or gold-plated.
It should be noted here that when the actuating device 14 is actuated, at least three or four contact parts 30 are actuated simultaneously, the actuation of three or four contact parts taking place simultaneously when a pressure part 18 is assigned to an insertion pocket 70. As shown in FIG. 3, however, it is advantageous to assign at least three insertion pockets 70 to one pressure part 18 or one actuating device 14 so that between 10 and 15 contact parts 30 are actuated simultaneously when an actuating device 14 is actuated. In the locked position of the actuating device 14, the lower edge of the grip area 16 sits on the upper side of the base body 4. so that the entire base body 4 is substantially completely encapsulated under the interaction of the grip area 16 and the cross member 80 and thus the contact parts 30 are protected from dirt or the like.
If the circuit board 44 is to be detached or separated from the base body 4 or the circuit board 10, the grip area or areas 16 are gripped behind the recesses 68 and pulled upwards, the projection 54 disengaging from the recess 58 and the wedge surface 22 on the counter surface 24 slides back up into the position shown in FIG. 1. As a result, the pressure part 18 moves to the right in FIG. 1, so that the spring regions 48 actuated by the pressure part 18 also return to their relaxed position according to FIG. 1 and the contact lugs 52 are lifted off the contact surfaces 90. Is the actuator 14 or the Be 1 have been returned to the position shown in FIG. 1, the circuit board 44 can be removed practically completely without force from the base body 4 or the insertion pockets 70.
Fig. 7 zeigt, wie die Leiterplatte 44, die zur Aufnahme elektronischer Bauteile dient, von denen beispielhaft ein Bauteil 96 dargestellt ist, in den Sockelkörper 4 eingeführt ist, wobei die Betätigungseinrichtung 14 bzw. deren Griffbereich 16 noch in der Lösestellung gemäß Fig. 1 ist.FIG. 7 shows how the circuit board 44, which is used to hold electronic components, of which a component 96 is shown as an example, is inserted into the base body 4, the actuating device 14 or its grip area 16 still being in the release position according to FIG. 1 is.
Hierdurch ergibt sich eine kammartige Ausbildung der Hakenbereiche 98 und 100, wobei beim Einstecken des Sockelkörpers 4 in die BohrungFig. 6 shows a modification of the present invention, which relates to the configuration of the pin 60. 6, the connecting pin 60 does not have the thickening 62, but is curved at its end region, so that a hook region 98 results. It is particularly advantageous here to design the hook areas in such a way that two adjacent connecting pins 60 each have hook areas 98 and 100 which are offset from one another by 180 °. This results in a comb-like design of the hook areas 98 and 100, wherein when the base body 4 is inserted into the bore
64 der Leiterplatte 10 die Anschlußstifte 60 elastisch deformiert werden, bis die Hakenbereiche 98 und 100 die Bohrung 64 vollständig durchtreten haben und an der Unterseite der Leiterplatte 10 elastisch in ihre Ausgangslagen zurückfedern, so daß sich eine Stellung gemäß Fig. 6 ergibt, in der der Sockelkörper 4 zuverlässig mit der Leiterplatte 10 allein durch das Hintergreifen der Hakenbereiche 98 und 100 verbunden ist.64 of the printed circuit board 10, the connecting pins 60 are elastically deformed until the hook regions 98 and 100 have completely penetrated the bore 64 and spring back elastically into their starting positions on the underside of the printed circuit board 10, so that a position according to FIG. 6 results in which the Base body 4 is reliably connected to the circuit board 10 solely by reaching behind the hook areas 98 and 100.
Der ersten Ausführungsform entsprechendeA second embodiment of the present invention will now be described below with reference to FIGS. 8 to 10. Corresponding to the first embodiment

Under certain conditions, especially in the case of extreme acceleration or vibration loads, it may be the case that the connection system according to the first embodiment is not able to adequately accommodate the circuit board 44 due to the additional circuit board 44 being clamped between the side wall 8 and the contact lug 52 there to hold securely, especially when the circuit board 44 is equipped with comparatively heavy components.
Die zweite Ausführungsform des erfindungsgemäßen Verbindungssystems gemäß den Fig. 8 bis 10 begegnet diesemThe second embodiment of the connection system according to the invention according to FIGS. 8 to 10 counteracts this
Problem in that the mounting of the additional circuit board 44 in the base body 4 is no longer carried out by the resilient contacts. 9, the actuating device 14 is designed such that each pressure part 18 acts directly on the printed circuit board 44 without a contact spring being provided as an intermediate medium. According to FIG. 9, the actuating device 14, starting from the grip area 16, has a horizontally extending and substantially across the entire width of the base body 4, the sliding part 102, which is arranged essentially horizontally in the interior of the base body 4 and at its free, the grip area 16 facing away from the edge has a plurality of substantially vertically extending pressure bodies 104. The number of pressure bodies 104 emanating from the pressure part 18 or its sliding part 102 corresponds to the number of poles to be contacted in the base body 4. According to FIG. 9, each pressure body 104 has a projecting area 106 which projects into the insertion pockets 70 in a nose-like manner, wherein according to FIG 8 for example two insertion pockets 70 are provided, which are separated from one another by a separating web 108. The separating web 108 serves as coding and is intended to prevent the printed circuit board 44 from being incorrectly inserted into the base body 4.
As can further be seen from FIG. 9, a stop tongue 110 which is parallel to the sliding part 102 and thus runs horizontally is formed on the lower free end of the pressure body 104. Such a stop tongue 110 can be formed on each pressure body 104; in practice, however, it has proven sufficient to assign at least one stop tongue 110, preferably two, to each insertion pocket 70. 9 is biased to the left by means of a compression spring 112, the compression spring 112 being held in suitable spring seats on the side wall 6 of the base body 4 or on the pressure body 104. In order to obtain a uniform pressing force over the entire width of the base body 4, a corresponding compression spring 112 is advantageously assigned to each pressure body 104, so that the number of compression springs 112 corresponds to the number of poles of the base body 4 to be contacted.
As can be seen in particular from FIG. 8, the insertion pockets 70 are constructed in the region of the side wall 8 of the base body 4 in such a way that chambers 116 which are separated from one another by support ribs 114 are defined, the chambers 116 serving to receive resilient contacts 11, as is best known Fig. 9 emerges. At the transition area between the pressure body 104 and the sliding part 102, a step-shaped shoulder 120 is provided on the pressure part 18, the shape of which corresponds essentially to a step-shaped projection 122 which is formed on an upper cover 124 of the base body 4 and according to FIG. 9 downward protrudes.
In the locking position of the pressure part 18 shown in FIG. 9, the shoulder 120 and the projection 122 are not in engagement with one another.
As can further be seen in particular from FIG. 8, a slot-shaped recess 126 is formed in the cover 124 immediately adjacent to the grip area 16 of the pressure part 18.
Dadurch, daß das Druckteil 18 in Fig. T nach rechts versetzt ist, sind die einzelnen nasenförmigen Bereiche 10b an den Druckkörpern 104 aus den Kammern 11b der Einstecktaschen 70 zurückgezogen, so daß die Leiterplatte 44, welche auf der der Seitenwand 8 des Sockelkörpers 4 zugewandtenThe mode of operation of the second embodiment of the connection system according to the invention is as follows: in the release position of the pressure part 18, this is shifted to the right and upward in comparison with the representation according to FIG the pressure part 18 is locked against the force of the compression springs 112 by a positive engagement between the shoulder 120 and the projection 122. Due to the fact that the pressure part 18 is offset to the right in FIG. T, the individual nose-shaped regions 10b on the pressure bodies 104 are withdrawn from the chambers 11b of the insertion pockets 70, so that the printed circuit board 44, which faces the side wall 8 of the base body 4
The contact surfaces T0 corresponding to the individual chambers 116 or the contacts 11ß arranged therein can be inserted into the insertion pockets. In the course of the insertion movement of the circuit board 44 into the insertion pockets 70 of the base body 4, the lower edge of the circuit board 44 comes into contact with the pressure part 118 with the stop tongues 110 which still protrude into the chambers 116. A further downward pressure movement of the printed circuit board 44 into the base body 4 causes the pressure part Iß in FIG. 9 to be carried downward via the stop tongues 110, so that the shoulder 120 out of contact with the projection 122. As soon as the shoulder 120 is no longer in contact with the projection 122, the pressure part 18 is pressed to the left by the force of the compression springs 112 in FIG. 9, so that the regions 106 come into contact with the side of the printed circuit board 44 facing away from the contact surfaces 90 and thus the circuit board 44 in FIG. 9 is also pressed to the left until the side of the circuit board 44 which bears the contact surfaces 90 comes into contact with the end faces of the support ribs 114. As a result, the individual contacts 118 in the chambers 116 are deflected resiliently to the left in accordance with FIG. 1 and thus contact the individual contact surfaces 90 under force. In order to achieve better contact contact, in particular in the case of oxidized contact surfaces 90, the individual contacts 118 can have contact zones 128 bent out with sharp edges. which partially dig into the contact surfaces 90 and thus produce reliable contact.
Im Zuge der nach rechts gerichteten Bewegung des Druckteiles 18 bewirken dann die Druckfedern 112, daß das Druckteil 18 eine Kippbewegung um eine imaginäreIn order to move the pressure part 18 back out of its locking position shown in FIG. 9 into the release position, a blade 130 of a screwdriver or the like is inserted into the recess 126 as shown in FIG. 10, after which the handle area 16 of the pressure part 18 is countered by turning the blade 130 the force of the compression springs 112 is moved to the right in FIG. 9. In the course of the rightward movement of the pressure part 18, the pressure springs 112 then cause the pressure part 18 to tilt about an imaginary one
Die Vorsprünge 106 drücken hierbei in einer zur Fig. 9 analogen Art und Weise die Leiterplatte 44 gegen die Stützrippen 114 und die Vorsprünge 132 drücken die zusätzlichen, in Fig. 10 rechts dargestellten Kontaktfedern 118 gegen die Kontaktflächen 90 der Leiterplatte 44.Performs pivot axis S so that the shoulder 120 again engages behind the projection 122 and the pressure part 18 is locked in its release position, in which the circuit board 44 can be separated from the base body 4. 10 shows the possibility of inserting a printed circuit board 44 into the base body 4, which carries contact surfaces 90 on both sides, two contacts 118 then being provided per chamber 116. The pressure bodies 104 of the pressure part 18 are designed such that the projections 106 and additional projections 132 are provided corresponding to the alternating arrangement of the support ribs 114 and chambers 116. The projections 106 press the printed circuit board 44 against the support ribs 114 in a manner analogous to FIG. 9 and the projections 132 press the additional contact springs 118 shown on the right in FIG. 10 against the contact surfaces 90 of the printed circuit board 44.
Funktion und Wirkungsweise der Modifikation gemäß Fig. 10 entspricht der der Ausführungsform gemäß Fig. 9.FIG. 10 also shows a further advantageous embodiment of the connection pins 60 of the contacts 118, namely an angled hook-like spring shape, so that the connection pins 60 after they have passed through. of the printed circuit board 10, the through hole in the printed circuit board 10 resiliently engages behind and thus additionally fixes the base body 4, which is particularly advantageous when fastening the base body 4 on the printed circuit board 10 by means of a wave soldering process, since this prevents the base body 4 from floating. The function and mode of operation of the modification according to FIG. 10 corresponds to that of the embodiment according to FIG. 9.
Compared to the first embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 7, there is thus the difference in the second embodiment according to FIGS. 8 to 10 that in the case of the second embodiment the circuit board 44 is clamped directly between the pressure part 18 and the supporting ribs 114, that is to say directly between two solid components, so that even higher holding forces for the printed circuit board 44 in the base body 4 result compared to the embodiment of FIGS. Especially for applications where high acceleration forces or strong vibrations are to be expected, this can be advantageous.
Furthermore, in the embodiment according to FIGS. 8 to 10, layer thickness tolerances of the contact surfaces 90 can be compensated for more easily, since in any case a defined contact of the printed circuit board 44 between the pressure part 18 and the supporting ribs 114 is predetermined, whereas the individual contacts 118 can spring out individually. In the extreme position of the contact 118 shown in FIG. 9, this is supported with its upper free end on the side wall 8 of the chamber 116 or the base body 4, so that there is a protection against an excessively high load on the contacts 118 on bending.
According to FIG. 8, the individual base bodies 4 can be lined up in a predetermined grid dimension, with corresponding encoding of the narrow sides of the base bodies 4, which is illustrated by way of example in FIG. 8, preventing reverse-side arrangements and thus polarity reversal.
In summary, the connection system according to the invention thus has the following essential features and advantages:
The insertion of the circuit board 44 into the base body 4 is essentially completely free of force, so that there is no risk of damage to the circuit board 44 or the base body 4 and there are no signs of wear and tear due to the abutting contact parts with each other
- die Verriegelung der Leiterplatte 44 mit dem Sockelkörper 4 bzw. der Leiterplatte 10 erfolgt durch das keilförmige Druckteil 18, was bedeutet, daß mit minimalem Kraftaufwand eine hohe Anpreßkraft der Kontaktnasen 52 an den Kontaktflächen 90 erzielbar ist;- The locking of the circuit board 44 with the base body 4 or the circuit board 10 is carried out by the wedge-shaped pressure part 18, which means that a high contact force of the contact lugs 52 on the contact surfaces 90 can be achieved with minimal effort;
- da das Verbindungssystem keine um Lager etc. drehenden oder schwenkenden Teile aufweist, ist ein sehr robuster Aufbau erzielt, wobei Abnutzungserscheinungen praktisch nicht auftreten und eine äußerst hohe Langlebigkeit und Zuverlässigkeit auch unter rauhen Betriebsbedingungen sichergestellt ist;- Since the connection system has no parts rotating or pivoting about bearings, etc., a very robust construction is achieved, with wear and tear practically not occurring and extremely high durability and reliability is ensured even under harsh operating conditions;
- bei der zweiten Ausführungsform und deren Modifikation ist keine zusätzliche Betätigung irgendwelcher Verriegelungselemente nötig, da das Druckteil durch das Einstecken der Leiterplatte 44 allein in seine Verriegelungsstellung gelangt;- In the second embodiment and its modification, no additional actuation of any locking elements is necessary because the pressure part only comes into its locking position by inserting the circuit board 44;
- Toleranzen hinsichtlich Leiterplattendicke und Kontaktflächenhöhe sind problemlos kompensierbar, ohne daß hierunter die Haltekraft leidet.- Tolerances with regard to circuit board thickness and contact surface height can be compensated without problems, without the holding force suffering as a result.
- In the second embodiment, the circuit board is clamped solely between two counter-stops which are essentially stationary in the base body, without the need for holding forces of contact parts. This enables very high holding forces without signs of wear on the base.
